knightsTempler:I don't get some of you. This is the sort of behind the scene things we don't normally know about and many times, they die with it. Instead of being bothered by the person behind it, why not enjoy it? How I wishers that IBB will open up one day either in a book or TV documentary and tell us what happened on June 12 1993. This sort is not a Nigeria politically behavioural culture and should be encouraged irrespective of the author. |
fctboy:What humility? Budgeting millions to feed yourself despite being one of the best paid leaders in the world? Overseeing 11 fleet of jets with a third world economy? Thai your ideas of humility? |
What a load of rubbish! Someone sane actually sat down and wasted a precious time writing this garbage? |
Mrs Patience, number one on the list of Nigeria current serving presidents before Odua, Madueke, Iwuala and last but the least, GEJ- gospel according to OBJ. ![]() Another misplaced priority. Buying an expensive Chinese ship when the threat and your enemy is in a forest. Maybe ship run through the sand and bush now. |
It goes to shows how unpopular and spineless these politicians are. When they are in power, controlling the public purse as theirs, they behaved like gods because hungry goats are only following the Palm front on their heads. Imagine Jonathan trying to contest a governorship primaries while outside of power, where he will finish, talkless of presidency? |
Can anyone name just one Bill sponsored by Ihedioha and was passed that benefit people of his constituents talkless of the whole state through out his stay in that doing nothing legislative assembly? |
Look who is taking? If they are controlled by France, you send your Zimbabweans onto Chinese slavery. Every inch of Zimbabwe had been mortgaged to China through borrowing. White people left a prosperous country for you, but now people uses wheel barrow to carry their cash when they travel miles to buy just a loaf of bread because a loaf is cost in millions in currency that is worthless and now you are mocking Ghana that gave you succour but also gave you their daughter who unfortunately you were cheating on while she was suffering from cancer with your now wife, who was a staff in your office then. |
eyeview:Should it not be a three horse race now? ![]() |
temitemi1:And make sure he gets you and every taxpayer one as well. Unless you think that his life worth more than yours. |
BackDatAssUp:It's not when Buhari was in power, it's when the military was in power. It was not a one man band scenario. There were the Supreme v military council, which Buhari was a member. No matter where you go, military rule and free press is never compatible because they rule by decrees which are absolute. Have you ask yourself who were the attorney General and justice ministers at times? Aren't they civilians? Where was the court and the judges? Where was the SAN social club of Nigeria? It was the judiciary in Pakistan that took on Musharraf and finally brought him down. Overall, where was Nigerians like you? Where they the same bunch jubilating when stinking NPN was overthrowned, the millions that marched and calling psychotic Abacha to rule forever? Who were the political parties fighting to adopt Abacha to become their candidate? It's not about Buhari, it's about you Nigerians . |
BackDatAssUp:Here I am thinking that the government's party has an overall majority in the both legislative chambers? So it's their own members that are now making it ungovernable for them. ![]() |
jcgodfrey:No, you should think a thousand times mate. He arranged to kill himself, so that you will fall in love with him? That is the mindset and thinking faculty of one asking anyone to think twice? Blimey!! But since the northern elites have chosen to employ violence in order to make GEJ look incompetent, well, what can I say but shake my head when ppl say stuff like, "this govt has failed, they can't contain BH.". ..Yes my dear, that is what you should be doing, shaking your head and not talking as your talking make little sense. Every time I heard this lame excuses that someone making it impossible for Jonathan, I said yes! I should tell shareholders in my business that they have no dividend this year because one of our employees vowed to make our business unprofitable and they will feel sorry for me and the directors and go home quietly. |
It's always very fascinating, the scope of human psychology. Here you have two extreme views. Some saying how disappointed they were about Buhari on TV, because of the way he sounded in his northern accent but they love a graduate Mrs Jonathan's penchant to demolish the queens English. That English is not her first language, as if her degree was thought in Kalabari. That Buhari is incoherent, but at the same time in love with GEJ's muffling on CNN and rather attacked and blamed Isha Sesay for being tough on him with her questioning. Buhari has been around for donkeys, so why pretend now as if you are just seeing a new kid on the block you have heard about but disappointed on meeting him first time? It hilarious. Asking some of you southern bigots to fall in love with Buhari is like trying to convince a die hard Real Madrid supporter to accept that Lionel Messi is the best player in the world or the same for Ronaldo for Barcelona supporters. That's not going to happen. Your mind has already been made up. So, why pretend? Even if the guy is to dance naked at your Nkwo market at your request, it won't make a jot. It was like the killing of Mr Garner in New York last week, some white people blaming his death on him being so fat, hence him dying when choked rather than the police that killed him. I absolutely love the mind blowing results of what politics can do to the mindset of supposed decent human beings who troops to their gods forsaken churches, praying to some unknown gods. Very fascinating. |
davitogreat:You meant he refused to say that he armed them and then his wife served them dinner afterwards? How disappointed you must felt not hearing that. |
Adwexky:No no no no no no Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!! It is not Mr Jonathan speaking, it's bloody Reuben Abati. What sort of journalism do this people practice? Why do they take this spokesman thing literally? Sometimes I want scream on this mis-journalism. |
jmaine:Be a bit more specific. Did he confessed not knowing that garri came from cassava? |
Splashme:What happened at Channel TV? Did he has more wrinkles than you were hoping? |
lorddannie:We both hope and pray that we looks this slim and fresh at that age. I want to know what the guy eats |
I like first and the last because that's him relaxed and comfortable. While the other two is him trying hard to be what he isn't. |
kayce911:Who is this rumours? What's his name? |
By the way how does predictions and guess work based on known reality translate into being called prophecy? Prophecy is telling Obama's mum that in 2008 your unborn child will become the president of the United State. |
BackDatAssUp:Do you know what it takes to carry the sort of burden American leaders carry, especially the daily mind blowing secrets they cannot even share with their own wife that they carry? It's enough to age anyone. Go and look at George Bush when he came in and when he was leaving, it's much the same. But once they leave office, they recover and look fresher. Only in Africa, especially Nigeria that leaders look better in power than before power. Because coming to power is like winning a lottery every week for them. Check out the Goodluck Jonathan that resembles Papi-Luwe when he was a deputy governor and the Jonathan of fleet of jets of 2014 and see my point. |
mikeansy:I agreed with you. It is an illiterate and lame Nigeria journalism. Whenever I see a supposed utterances of a personality, trying to read it, you find out that its not the person but a third person expressing an opinion inbehalf. Being a spokesman doesn't translate into direct acknowledgement of an inherent representation of the aforementioned character, unless you are reading a statement signed by the person. If what was said becomes libellous, the person will claim not to have said any and the so called spokesman will be in soup. That is what happened to Abati when Buhari sued him for libel, probably he thought he was representing the voice of his boss, when he could not contain his enthusiasm. But this does not diminish the main flesh of this story. |
I thought I was the only Igbo blood who could see Jonathan ineptness even from his days as a deputy governor? |
The only creative techniques your government has created is that the political rogues do not go for Swiss banks anymore as they have discovered Dubai. Corruption is not all about naira and kobo stealing, but abuse of power and impunity of those in power are corruption. Patience Jonathan permanent Secretary joke is a stinking corrupt practice. Buying arms outside the legal means of a state especially with non budgetary cash is corruption. Manipulation of a social governors forum is corruption and engineering it's division. Patience Jonathan shutting down Port Harcourt is corruption. Locking out members of national aasembly is purely a corrupt practice. Using state apparatus to intimidate opponents to the point of endangering lives, like refusing aircraft landing is corruption. Deposing governors through kangaroo legislature of a minority is corruption. Budgeting millions of public money to feed your boss is corruption. Having you Okupe/Abati at the expense of pubic fund near the corridors of power is corruption. A supposed public officials not giving a damn about declaring asset is nothing but Corruption. Bestowing honorary titles on known rogues, and pardoning likes of Alamesiegha is an insult to corruption. |
Rumours said he is dead, but I cannot confirm that now. ![]() Who the heck is Rumour? Can't Mr Rumours confirm it before you rush to Nairaland? |
This is not a report. It's rather an article of personal opinion being expressed. What sort of journalism does this people practice, that they don't know the difference between a report and an article? |
Do you need to be born in Lagos or a Nigerian to be a governor? By the way, who is a Lagosian? Someone born in Lagos? Someone whose parents are also born in Lagos? A Yoruba? Someone that lives and pay his/her tax in Lagos? Please help me out here? |
PhockPhockMan:Who are those lying down and those standing up?Differentiating them is what I was actually asking and nothing else. In retrospect, I am aiding you on how your argument should go if you have a point to prove. And by the way, am I wrong to say that the initial post bears non of standing pictures? |
atlwireles:What God got to do with this? I wasn't in any conflict with the poster. I wanted the poster to be a bit explanatory, as I don't understand what he was trying to say. It's just that most of you see conflict in every issue. |
olabukola:Seriously I have no idea myself. Do you? |
I don't know if it's a lie or not but I don't quite get your rebuttal, cos I was hoping that you say that the picture was phoneshoped, that you have the original picture to prove it. But non of that. So why are they liars?( not saying that they are not) but your post make no sense in support of your claims. |
