FOLLOWJESUS:And who is this your god that you are referring to? I knew for sure that the so called Nigerian voters elected Jonathan as president and not any of your gods. I know for sure that you don't have God's email address or phone numbers for him have told you. Yes the proper God does not make mistakes and as you can witness, if he does how come Hitler, Mugabe, Saddam, Abacha and Bush's of this world smells and tested power? I know that some of you are religious but lack genuine accurate knowledge of the true God in heaven and lacked true spirituality, hence should stop treating God like a McDonald Restaurant toilet. Something you visit only when you are desperate. No world leader was divinely elected or annoited by God with some vote cast by immoral human beings. God did not annoit King David or later Jesus as king through human elections, especially the manipulated one for that matter. Please go out there to campaign, canvass and work hard towards your choice of candidates in this election to succeed and stop mocking God. |
2cato:Their response may be that the Jonathan high speed train doesn't seem to be running towards the East at all, despite the 99% polling turn out and 99% votes collected. |
The united Yoruba brotherhood in action. I thought they said it is the Igbos that are disunited? That word unity is a fallacy. |
Why do people, especially Nigerians call every 4 x 4 SUVs (Four wheel drive) car a jeep? There are no such thing as Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes or Hummer Jeep. Jeep is a brand of its own with models like Pathfinder and Wrangler. Its so annoying, especially among those that should know better. |
marvelousabah:Am only quoting OBJ, the man that installed Jonathan as your leader. I am sure OBJ know your so called constitution and Jonathan more than you and me. If you have issue with the statement, there is a taxi to Otta farm, go there and take it out with him. If you have forgotten: the issue is that Okupe called his boss or likened him to Jesus Christ. That is the issue of this thread. |
I know how hard it is trying to manage one woman (mrs) So, It must be a burden competing and sharing the presidency with four women and you are the least of the five. |
![]() Advise your boss JESUS to quit if he finds this burden so hard to carry at the same time with trying to win an election and concentrate on the election. Jonathan as Jesus Christ? That is taking a biscuit ![]() On power his boss promised three years ago? I blame it on 35 years old equipment at Ikeja. On the Insurgency in the North East? I blame it on the governor because he goes to London and Lagos but refuse to visit my boss. On the Chibok girls? I blame it on collateral damage because in wars rape and kidnapping does happen. (Even though he initially claimed that it was a hoax and was asking for the pictures of the girls) |
People do not understand the burden this president is bearing. He’s like Jesus Christ. He’s bearing the burden of everybody,” Okupe said while commenting on the state of the nation on Sunrise Daily. According to him, the efforts of the government in fighting the Boko Haram insurgency as well as in power were being hindered by external factors, even as the nation gears up for the 2015 elections, which Okupe said would be impossible for Jonathan to lose. “I can’t see GEJ losing this election; It’s not possible.” On managing serious challenges in Nigeria and also campaigning for a second term in government, Okupe noted that “the beauty of executive is being able to multitask,” which he said was one quality the President had. However, there have been complaints concerning two major issues – security and power. On electricity, Okupe explained that Nigeria has been “under-powered” for many years, noting that in Ikeja, Lagos State, the electrical infrastructure on ground is about 35 years old. He admitted that “power is a problem”, which was why the government was working to improve generation and distribution, through the power reform. He also noted that the equipment were expensive which had caused the private owners to borrow billions of dollars. “We are not there yet but we are certainly on an irreversible road to better power supply,” he further insisted. Asked why the government did not first work on changing equipment before increasing generation, which also costs money, Okupe said that there was a limit the government could do as power was controlled 100% by the private sector. “In the power situation, we are not there yet. We are definitely on a road that cannot change,” he emphasised, hinting that the government is working on huge dam projects to allow the private owners work effectively on distribution. He also claimed that government efforts were being sabotaged by politicians who sponsor vandals to attack gas pipelines. “We noted that there were 10 NIPP projects which were performing below 50 per cent”, he disclosed, alleging that some persons were making sure they underperformed so as to make the government appear incompetent. He, however, added that the rate of sabotage had reduced in the past year. On the state of security in Nigeria’s North East region, Okupe commended the government’s efforts, noting that all aspects of the war against terror, including funding, administration were being worked upon. “Today, the Nigerian Army is in total and perfect control,” of North East, he added. On the recent comments made by Governor of Borno State, Okupe said the governor “never fails to amaze me”, adding that majority of problems of insurgency was situated in his state but he was travelling to Lagos, London and other nations, to discuss insurgency but failed to meet the President on the matter. Okupe argued that Boko Haram was a “multinational, international insurgency arrangement in Nigeria” as the group had links with ISIS, Al Qaeda, and other international terrorist groups. He also said he did not know about the identity of the sponsors as he was not working with security. He also claimed that there were huge political considerations in the fight against Boko Haram, making an example of General Buhari, who Okupe said had polled over 12 million votes in the North in the last election. Okupe alleged that Buhari had said any attack on Boko Haram was an attack on the North and that Buhari’s recent condemnation of Boko Haram was as a result of his fourth bid to become Nigeria’s president. #BringBackOurGirls Not Time Bound Speaking about the 219 schoolgirls in Boko Haram captivity, Okupe said “the issue of Chibok girls was an emotional tragedy but it is a tragedy that we must bear with fortitude,” noting that issues such as rape, murder and other atrocities were common in war. “Chibok girls are a major thorn in the flesh of the administration,” he explained, stating that “If it was possible to get them yesterday I know that this government would have done it”. He also called for caution in the rescue mission, noting that “any mistake will lead to their death” and that there’s no time limit for returning the girls alive. |
By the bible definition of a marriage she can only vote for her husband as no one ever voted against self. It still a win win situation for her, no matter the outcome but human selfish interest tells me that she would most rather prefer to be a first lady than t being the sister of a governor. How many sisters of governors do you know? The northern elite are just like European royal families, they are all interested linked |
@poster: So you have an issue with the one that declared his asset irrespective of your conspiracy theories around it and your humourous quest towards rewriting English language in order to support your nefarious theory. But in the same breath, you are just ok and comfortable with the one that tells you to go to hell, as he does not give a damn about what to think about his asset secrecy? Human beings are special creatures. I bet you went to church, using the same crooked soul calling on your gods? |
Wow. Jonathan will require the most scientific rigging to win this. Last time he had all the northern governors to do it for him. Now many has left him, those that remain like Lamido and Babangida Aliyu cannot be trusted not to work against him. With Amaechi and Okorocha, Rivers and Imo, getting 99% this time around will be an uphill battle. |
BackDatAssUp:Is this the handiwork of some white powder or just the way you were raised and how you are? This is someone"s mum, wife , sister or even grandma you are writing about, that you never met and never will ever. Just because of politics of those who cared less about your very existence. Take it easy, all this blood pressure pumping, you really think it is worthy for wicked Nigeria political class? Chill bro. Please! |
alabiyemmy:You think every issue is all about PDP/APC or Jonathan vs Buhari? |
So his anger is that he has more than Buhari and cannot believe a Nigerian retired General can have so small amount? I don't know where his anger is coming from.lol. Well, he is a comedian. Its hardwork trying to make a stone laugh. |
mikeansy:Yes, your political inspired mathematics. |
Bawss1:Am not sure he paid it off, he did pay some though. Why don't you disprove it when you know it is easy then? What are you waiting for? |
Goddex:At least mean, estimate, roughly, in the region of. How can 1b be any close to 900m? |
Because I am never comfortable without cows. That is hilarious. ![]() This politicians will definitely say any rubbish now for votes. Wait till Okupe and Abati counter him with their own tweets- Our boss is never comfortable without his shoes now. ![]() |
DrJoe1:Why waste INEC official time and petrol, when you can count it yourself then? |
HIGHESTPOPORI:When Igbos does not even has a choice to choose anyone, let alone contesting in PDP? |
Don't listen to him Jonathan. He got only one vote. If he managed to convince his wife, that's two votes. |
Flets:I bet you were appointed to hold light for them when the were sleeping together? It takes one to know one. |
NgeneUkwenu:Am so pi.ssed off now. You really think I give a fard about your calculations? Even if it's per century. How can one public official, yes public official be taking home millions of public money just because he is occupying public office that supposed to be serving? How many CEOs of multi billion dollar transnational companies that makes profit takes take home anything close annually in salary? Instead of being outraged , you are rather trying to be technical with me. British people were outraged when they learn that their MPs were making claims like the cost of a garden hose that cost peanuts and some were forced to pay it back, some went to jail for it. Here you are going technical and language smart with me to justify a day light robbery just for having access to public funds. That's unless you are one of them. |
I want to see what the presidency earn and how much it takes to run the office. You want a president who will volunteer and cut his salary by 75% and seizes the moral high ground to mobilize the populace and if possible blackmailing this rogues and governors to do the same. How can you operate an open robbery against the people in the name of democracy. And this is just their legitimate earnings only. |
NgeneUkwenu:Why not post your alternative figures and whatever your version of truth is? That is how to make a counter argument. Instead of just calling it false without anything to back it up. Am not saying that you are wrong but that your mere dismissive approach without any backup is flawed. |
I thought Okupe promised to commit suicide if APC survived six months? What is he waiting for still? |
bigiyaro:lol |
AHOY147:Who sacked Ihejirika? |
SeverusSnape:Please remind yourself who sacked Ihejirika. |
xyz098:You knew nothing, it's called conspiracy theory. |
Duru1:If you don't know the answer to this your questions, it means that you are in a wrong forum. |
OdenigboAroli:Stop ranting lies. Obi is a political n.y.m.p.h.o before and after Ikemba. This is the same PDP that did every available injustices to Obi? How much of short memory you lot got about those that wanted to burn down Anambra because of Obi. As far as Nigeria crazy politics is concerned, you cannot compare Rochas and Obi in political clout. Without Rochas APGA would have been rigged out again by Ohakim and his gangs in 2011. Obi's re-election was Ngige/PDP vs Ikemba, nothing to do with Obi. Rochas fought PDP in Imo without Ikemba who was already very ill and now you are lying to yourself? Once Ikemba died Obi abandoned APGA and start following Jonathan like a puppy. You cannot blame Rochas who at least has a higher ambition as an independent thinking person when he realized that Umeh and Obi has turned APGA into a subsidiary of PDP that are not even willing to field their own presidential candidate in elections. When did a privately successful Igboman become a water career for a dumb Ijaw man, who by a mere stroke of luck and misfortune of others hit a jackpot of leadership and lacking any clue as to what to do with it? It is an insult to a proud Igbo sons like me. That's not the way we are raised. |
