Rossikk: No. You are the typical Nigerian mouthing ignorant rubbish out of inferiority complex. Fact is Egypt is at least 20 years behind Nigeria in political evolution. It is Egypt that needs to learn from Nigeria, not the other way round. If you cannot see how, then go get a brain transplant.Unfortunately for you I don't believe in evolution, even in politics, I prefer creation of your own political landscape. And I try to make my point without insults or name calling. By the way, I am a typical Biafran, never been a Nigerian since 1967. |
noblezone: Yea! A wise man indeed! You guys need to be careful as you are busy doing Jonathan more harm than his enemies with all these SS/SE thing. Will just SS/SE MAKE HIM PRESIDENT? It better you guys keep your feeling to your chest, instead of all this name calling of others you might need when the time comes. |
Longeria: Chief Ajumbe was right on spot on this. His action is a desperate move to avoid the evil bandwagon, APC. Better late than never. Okorocha thinks Igbos of today are the type he can trick into his bag of deceptions. What wait him in APC is Waterloo. I don't know of other Igbos, We the IMOLITES will never vote ALHAJIS POLITICAL CABAL, " APC ".And who would the ALHAJI POLITICAL CABAL people give their own vote? |
How does one resign from an unregistered (non existing yet) party? |
duality: Only Cretins preach mob action like what is happening in Egypt. Who invests in an economy with incessant mob actions. Only Compound foools preach such in Nigeria. I have said it that Politicians don't change society; what changes a society is conscious attitudinal change. It is attitudinal change that can eliminate corruption not an anti-corruption czar.If you hit the streets and remove GEJ, what would have been done, is the dethronement of a mafia and the enthronement of another mafia who think alike but from different angles. That is a typical Nigerian talking. They shout change but does nothing for the change to come. They are not cretins, but rather people who want change and will keep going until they get it, irrespective of who is there. The difference between you and your Egyptian cretins is that, they are taking the bull by the horn and you are still praying and waiting for God to do it for you. God has more important things to worry about than Nigeria. |
4Willywilly: God Forbid bad thing, Please God never allow this to happen, Okorocha want to turn Imo people to Yoruba Tea maker, keiiiii Organizing Secretary for a Yoruba Owembe for Imo man,Some of you should get a grip. So making tea for Ijaw Owigiri is better or okay then? ![]() |
pistol: Marriage of strange bedfellows.Tell me which of the 50 we knew about isn't marriage of bedfellows? |
Is it Gov Amaechi in-behalf of the Rivers State govt, gave money to someone or is it that Gov Amaechi has $100k lying around his own personal pocket to give away to someone? |
4Willywilly: I dey laugh at Okorocha, this is the highest insult, See wetin Yorubas (ACN) gave him, secretary of Organizing Owanbe for them, keiii Imo people don't allow this to happen. When has Okorocha equals APGA, when people like you kept telling us for months that he is insignificant and inconsequential? |
I don't think this has anything to do with Mrs Jonathan or her to be blamed. You have to look at those they paid with public fund to advise her husband. The likes of Abati, Okupe, Anyim etc. People who had no prior knowledge of governance and diplomacy but doing a job meant for professionals and learn as they go along. Those with no will to tell their boss the truth when it matters because, their number concern is their belly and relevance near that corridor or power, while feeding the ego of those they serve with whatever they can see, find or touch. |
Years back, my father use to say to me that the first sign to identify your real enemy masquerading as your friend is that one that laugh at every of your jokes to the extent that, he laughed when you say: I am going to kill myself, because he wasn't listening, but only laughed because he supposed to laugh not knowing what you said. Jonathan take note. |
Giiyaz: Letz 4qet Biafra...Ojukwu 4qot abt it!! Letz stick to our NIGERIA na *kneelin' n beqqin*Its a free world, you are free to remain a Nigerian when the time comes and stop sh*ting in your pants. Now you can relax and make some sense. |
mekaboy: I can deal with armed robbers and kidnappers in other countries or parts of the world but not my own home. Charity begins at home they say, let massob start at home , get rid of armed robbery and kidnapping and show ndigbo what biafra will look like. Then we will join them. For now massob has not produced anything meaningful. So where will you run to if a member of your family is to get involve in any of them robbers or kidnapper? I don't know the type of utopia world or cloud nine you are living. |
Billyonaire: PDP cemented Democracy in Nigeria, and the Great PDP is currently being purged of bad eggs, most of which will end up in APC (PDP's dustbin), when this purging is completed, PDP will continue to be the only National Party without a anti-democratic vices like Godfather-figure 'anointing' people for offices. PDP indeed is the precursor of Democratic Nigeria, without which Nigeria's Democracy will be totally ram-shackled.If comedy is your future plan for making a living, I advise you to apply your brake now and think of something else. This dustbin of former PDP rogues, will also contained the recently cleansed the one and only Governor general Ijaw nation-Chief Alams? You guys really cracks me up. ![]() |
thelastPope: Please where did she blast Amaechi in the article? I have read and re-read it but cant find it...Even if you read it 100 more times, its still going to be the same outcome for you because, your eyes read it alright but your heart was reading something else, that why you will never be able to see what any other person can see. Our body see thing with two organs-Eyes/Heart. But the heart can be very deceptive without a well trained conscience to guide it. |
Goddex: Now I see clearly the mischief of our media. I attended that occasion and listened to her and other guest from A - z. The woman never made mention of Ameach's. She was only delighted to have Peter Odili, Ada George and Celestine Omehia assembled together by Nyesom Wike and praised Wike profusely as a man committed to uniting the good people of Rivers state. Its always good and nice to hear from an eye witness account. Now tell us, was it a real wedding or a political gathering? because according to your own eye witness account, there was no mention of the bride and the groom but rather supposed guests and heavy weights. Because as I knew it, every wedding is all about the bride/groom, some people even are mindful of what they wear to a wedding, so that they do not take any attention or shine away from the two people that mattered on the day. |
Afam4eva: I'm talking of the people based in the commercial towns of Onitsha, Nnewi and Aba and not people who are from these places. These commercial traders that i'm referring to are Igbo from all parts of Igboland, so i find it strange that you people would think i was referring to people of Anambra origin. There's no gain saying that Enugu is home to more Igbo elites than any other Igbo town, so the response in Enugu won't be as much as in the places that i mentioned previously. Other places with similar idiosyncrasies with Enugu are non-commercial towns such as Awka, Owerri, and Asaba.Tell me any Igbo man who is worth anything that has no connection with commercial trading? Its our way of life and got nothing to do with your degrees. I am an orthopedic surgeon of close to 40 years experience, but I had always been a trader irrespective. Its a total ignorance to characterized commercial trading as something subject to educational qualification or if you trade, you are some how less bright, intelligent or political aware than someone that sits in an office pushing files. |
ezeagu: Although I support such a demonstration, I agree that MASSOB isn't the right group to handle anything, especially anything political. They have no direction and nothing but violence and confusion will come out of it unless they figure out what they want. They haven't even defined what 'Biafra' is yet and how many people within those border actually want to go with them, the economics, trade, international recognition, possible retaliation and so forth. If you don't like MASSOB or felt superior to them or their effort, their method etc, please kindly form yours, let us Biafra look at it, if its the better alternative, we will follow you. But don't go on about something that you offered nothing but no alternative. I can't speak for MASSOB, but I knew that they are everything but violence. |
Afam4eva: Enugu is always different. If there's one thing i've noticed, it is that MASSOB seems to be dominant anywhere you have a lot of pseudo-illiterate traders.I always respect every opinion but not all opinion comes from the the most important part of the thinking faculty and this is one of them. MASSOB is a political pressure group with a defined aspiration. When they issue out an agenda, no one is obliged to respect it. Its a free will thing and not respecting it doesn't completely means that you disagrees with what they want to aspires for, you may even agree but differ with their approach or methods. During the apartheid, not every black person in South Africa or AFRICA in general allies with the ANC or their method, but still hated and wants to end the system. For you to make such a senseless and not well thought out stuff as in above statements, especially the illiterate bit, makes you sounding more illiterate than those you are trying portray as such. During the June 12 struggle until the end of Abacha, it has always been those folks the likes you always looked down upon that do comes out on the streets to put their lives on the line for the so called democracy. But when the booty arrives, its those so called educated, who had always been like manure to the military juntas all those years or who calls themselves apathetic academicians that comes out and cream off everything, as we see today. You wonder where the likes of GEJ of day were during those period with their bags full of their PHD degrees? But having said all that, its still your personal opinion, which you deserved and has every right to air too, just like mine. |
guonno: I am not on the side of those elites but the truth need be told. The eastern part of nigeria has been systematically and economycally suppressed, tell how a business man would make it if he invests in a state that has no good federal roads that would lead costumers from other region hospitals are not given good attention, the schools do not attract people from anywhere in the world, especially federal schools. No good project has been done for the past 33 years that would boost the eastern economy to an extent that a business manwould see hopes in investing there. Ask obj and co they all know what they ve been doing to put down the east.Every good thing comes with a bit of sacrifice, if you doubt my ask the South Africans how many years they closed shops or lost their lives, to be where they are now. Nothing comes for nothing. Lives comes first before investment. |
ebucha: They are never united. And you are united? Tell me that paradise you comes from, where everyone is a robot, programmed to reason, think and do things alike? |
ebamma 3: The biggest beneficiaries of nigeria's unity are the igbos followed by the hausasAll Nigerians living in Britain did not pack up and head back from all over Britain in the 60s, just to show the British that they serious about their quest for independent and 50 years after, millions of Nigerians are still in Britain, has bought or built assets worth millions, if not billion in Britain. Jomo Kenyatta was still living in England, marrying an English woman, when he was directing the independent struggle in Kenya from his base in England. The British, did not command him to go back to his native land before they can take him serious about Kenyan's freedom quest. When some of you talk, it will be better for you to think first, that is, if you have the brain to think. |
dayokanu: They want Biafra at the same time want Ibo presidencyThe same way you all wanted Odudwa republic until OBJ ascended the throne and all become one Nigeria again. They want Biafra at the same time want to move to kano, maiduguri lagos. The same way you made Thamesmead in London British credit card fraud capital and Peckham the British number one stop for fake documents instead of staying put in your villages scratching you bottoms. They want Biafra yet cant live in their villagesOnly unproductive people stay put in their villages when there is a world to explore. If you doubt me, when you die and go wherever you think you will go, ask the ancient Romans, Assyrians, Babylonians or more recently British why they left their villages to go places to create empires? then come back and comment.. They want Biafra at the same time want the South south OilYour Geography teacher forgot to tell you that there are no such term as South South or West West. But if Oil is your issue, Biafra is awashed with oil being mined to feed you Nigerians, but we will never repeat the Nigeria mistake of oil obsession when we got brains in abundance. They want Biafra at the same time want to be JewsThis so meaningless and irrelevant, it deserves no comment. They want Biafra at the same time want others to feed themAnother meaningless Delusional lotsAs delusional as Scottish people in a well run country like Britain. If the quest and desire to be independent, to be your own person and do your own thing without hindrance, instead of a basket case marriage of NIGERIA is delusional, please more dose of the delusion. |
dayokanu: Then secede and go run your Biafra, Just dont add whats not your to itI solely believe that you must dream of Biafra every night and It must be a nightmare one. Because its unhealthy how the word Biafra attract you like as a rotten mango attract a nuisance fly. The time you spent worrying about another man's headache, you better channel it on how to make Nigeria your ancestors fought and shed blood for, a better place or how you will manage the likes of Gani Adams as your feature leader in Oduduwa. |
percipi1: Only poor, inconsequential and nairaland Igbos talk of resurrecting the ghost of Biafra. The real Igbos have since moved on and integrated into the system. In fact, these smart Igbos are enjoying the union more than other ethnic groups in view of their widely acclaimed success in the area of commerce. Biafra remains a very dark part of our history which we must never forgetWho is the real Igbos? Worry about your own life and that of where you come from and let real and fake Igbos concern themselves with the issue of Biafra. Biafra is not your history, whether you chose to be in the dark or burning sunlight, which might choose to forget. |
Garri the 1st: If you can't hold ur Governor (and other politicians who are closer to you) accountable then why even look up at Abuja?? Someone is stealing you blind right under your nose yet you chose to be obsessed about what Buhari did before I was born or some of his empty words which do not affect you.. How wise is that??Its because most power in Nigerian setup resided in Abuja. Money from all places is collected through force by Abuja and Abuja decide who gets what. If there was an Oduduwa republic in 1999, who would the majority of the people chose as their leader, OBJ or Falea? If Ijaw is a republic, do you think that Jonathan can win a local council election, let alone being their president? Its naive to judge a possible future leadership of any future republic based on the production line of Nigerian leadership of today. In Biafra, I knew for sure that those parading themselves as leaders today will struggle to make the president of their town's union, talkless of an elective position. Some will run into exile, than to live IN ISOLATION with their own people, when the previous protection from Abjua is no longer there. |
Garri the 1st: Charity begins from home...Because your so called governor are the product of Abuja, not he people. Was it the people that put the present Bayelsa governor there now or Abuja? |
Garri the 1st: I'm a Deltan FYI, but let me tell you something that seems to escape your notice, since 1999 when we started voting our leaders what have they done with the money they receive monthly from FG?? You boast of what's under the ground forgetting that it's people above the ground that will manage such resources.Going by your theory, you should bring back the British, the French and others since Africans in charge has been useless? Because the likes of Mugabe or Obasanjo of Africa manage to wangle and manipulate their way into power doesn't mean that all Africans should be represented by their actions and works. |
debetmx: Achebe's there is a country. Bunch of bitter peopleIf you don't like Achebes book, go and write yours. I am sure you don't even know how the book looks like, let alone reading it and if by any chance you had bought it and read it, thanks for putting some cash into Achebe family bank balance. |
debetmx: That is the difference between yoruba and ibo people. We made noise & shakara and Obasanjo was made president. Ojukwu went to fight a needless war and what happened? 3million ibo died, yet you keep whingeing, whining and crying after 43 years. What do have to show for the biafran war? Achebe's there is a country. Bunch of bitter peopleMake sure you will remember this your quote of being SHAKARA and NOISE MAKERS, that iy came out of your own mouth, because the day I will remind you. If in your world or where you come from, defending your right of existence is called needless, across the Niger, we share a different opinion. We have everything to show for the Biafra war, that we will defend ourselves, irrespective of how many super power fanning the amber. We can lose everything and still bounce back, meet you up and overtake you. We can lose everything but few years come back to Lagos and Abuja bouht your land, old houses with cash you needs for Owambe parties. |
kcjazz: Dear Mark as a retired general you know nothing cos my brothers on NL especially, will fight with their keyboards while based in America and Lagos. They would rather blame the civil war for the lapses in development than their leaders who feed fat, fight each other and support whoever has the money.A retired political general. Mark is protecting his goose called Nigeria, his only means to relevance and livelihood from his youth till now. Take away Nigeria, what will become of David Mark? Absolutely nothing! He is crowing out because his entire life is threatened, when anything or anyone threatens the continued existence of Nigeria. He can't bear the thought going out to make an honest living for the first time in his life, with no public oil money to steal from. |
debetmx: God bless you and your generation. You meant those at one time was threatening of a war if June 12 annulled election wasn't reversed? Can I call it poor or selective memory bank? How time changes things. |
