Obi was trying to weaponize their emotions, but this time making use of the current economic situation of Nigeria following the Oil Subsidy removal.

President Tinubu has successfully countered Obi with the live telecast he delivered some minutes ago by reaffirming his campaign promises.

Their alliance with Russia just means a failure in advance. Let's assume NATO nations support ECOWAS with weapons, Niger Republic is gone.
