Do nothing! Wait for your AM, once your visa is out, go to the school of your Choice.. Meddyakki: Good day everyone. I need advice from the gurus in the house. I just received admission letter from TUM now for Masters in Financial mathematics. however I'd already gone through the embassy process for another school which is JMU Wurzburg. But I prefer going to TUM because the course is financial maths different from JMU Wurzburg which is Just mathematics. My interview is 20 days old. what do you suggest I do at this point. thanks so much in anticipated response. |

Its means an admission letter is what is needed to make a decision on your application.. Obviously it would be a positive one Do as Deustchemann advised And start throwing application to schools ASAP Check previous pages I think someone dropped list of schools doing Geoscience D5000y: Hi All,
I got a mail from DAAD Scholarship committee that I should submit an admission letter of a German University for winter 2019/20. Please, who knows much about this DAAD scholarship? Does that mean that I have been considered for the scholarship and does anyone knows any German University that issues admission letter within the shortest possible time?
Course of study: MSc Geosciences
cc: Deustchemann
Thank you |

this man!! You sha wan knack person belle Goztino: Haba. Start another master program? PhD will be preferable. You don't keep on rotating in one angle. You enter the next level.
Moreover, I am learning Deutsch with Duolingo and its really amazing. Once I come here, I will channel over 60 percent of my energy to learning Deutsch and before I finish my MSc, I will be very fluent in it. Another aspect is to work really hard academically and be among the best graduates with very high GP. So that your GP coupled with your fluency in Deutsch will make you move mountain and even attract white Germans towards you for impregnation |

You nailed it!! hadassaheke: I don't entirely agree with you sir. 1. Knowledge of the language is highly important except you're in the IT field then it won't really be a problem. In fact, knowledge of the language should be a top priority alongside one's academics. 2. Not just STEM courses, people studying management and international business are highly sought after, heck even people studying teaching and learning are highly sought after too. 3. Getting a white lady pregnant and getting your paper subsequently looks and sound easy, but the reality is a different ball game entirely. 4. Graduating on time and getting a PR isn't as easy and straight forward as it sounds, but it is doable. It also requires hard work. Know what you want, work towards it and the sky will be your starting point.
Like someone mentioned earlier on, whatever it is you're studying, be good at it. And please don't apply for a course for applying sake, be sure that it is what you want and always check each curriculum inorder to be on the safe side. Studying here isn't easy as one would think. |

Hey bro! Been a while Well based on research I did yes, education years counts but as half year Elders in the house can confirm or correct tho Chriswazo: Are you sure of the boldened statement? The last time I check, ur eligibility for PR starts after your education (not sure of PhD). Even if u do 3 MSc consecutively, it adds nothing. The counting starts after studies, when you have gotten work and started paying tax. |

Did you just say "nonsense" course lol Not every STEM course is in demand in Germany I agree with you that Germans are instrested in your skills first doesn't mean only STEM graduates are skillful..so whatever it is you are going to study be good at it and learn GERMAN you would definitely land a job in 18months Well Education years I think except PhD is counted as half year so a two years master + 18months job search permit=2.5years Basalt: Well, I get your point. That's why we are advised not to go to Germany and do nonsense course in your masters. Research well about your course before applying. First of all, ask yourself 1. What relevant skills can this course give me 2. Is the skill needed in Germany enough to land me a job related to the course within 18 months? Germany employ you base on your skills and what you can do. It's not like Nigeria, where you just get employed because your uncle is one of the CEO. Here experience and skills count. If you have none, the best you can get is just normal part time jobs.
Infact, if you are not going to Germany for any course related to STEM (Science Technology Engineering and mathematics) then you have a higher probability of not getting any job related to your course.
@Goztino, in answer to your question. German law states that once you legally stay upto 5years in Germany, you can apply for permanent residence. So maybe after your Msc which is 2 years, plus your 18 month job hunt it will be 3.5 years, which means you need just 1.5 year more to apply for permanent residence, if at all, the worst happens and you couldn't get a job, then instead of coming back to this sh.thole country, you can simply enrol for your PhD and then during the process of your PhD, you can now apply for permanent residency or better still you impregnate or marry a German and within 3 years you get papers on your palm plus half casts as children |

I support deustchemann wait till the application starts before sending cause you will need to submit a signed application form after applying online via your uniassist portal Information on grading system.. I think that can also be found on the last page of your transcript..that's were I got mine..the part of your transcript were your university summarized your grading..eg 3.5-4.49= second class upper division, 4.5-5.0= first class etc...70%-100% =A, 60%-69%= B ..etc iblion: Hi guys, thanks for all the help. i have a question concerning uniassist, can i send my documents to them by mail before the schoool i am interested in starts application? i just registered for TOEFL and i added uniassist code as one of my test result recievers, can i go ahead and send the documents i have with me to them by post? and lastly a school asked for "Information on the grading system at university where the applicant completed a Bachelor's programme" i suppose i can get this at the senate building right? thanks |

An affidavit from Court would solve that.. No worries You wouldn't v issues at all with certification. They hardly even check the originals except you are using the embassy. Just ensure when u are making application you forward both the affidavit and birth certificate obibanks: Goodmorning house, I just secured my transcript only to discover my school made a mistake in my date of birth and state of origin (but LGA is correct). They wrote August 18th instead of March 18th. Can it still be certified by High court if I attach my birth certificate? The process of getting these transcripts is really difficult |

Mail them about the error ASAP..they would correct it Include your application number to the mail if any was given after applying Goztino: Please gurus in the house, I applied to another university last night and I made a mistake.
They asked for my first name and I wrote my full name, they asked for my surname and I also wrote my full name.
Example. First Name: Okonkwo Gbenga Family name : Okonkwo Gbenga
Thereby making my Name to be repeatedly displayed as Okonkwo Gbenga Okonkwo Gbenga. Before I discovered the mistake, I had already submitted the application. Please is that mistake enough to deny one Admission? Is there anything I can do to salvage that situation? All my documents are correct and names written properly |

Sure u can..people use that and get positive evaluation from uniassist... An admission letter I saw stated the student come with... "Original and verified school report and university degree" for enrollment...am guessing the original and verified school report means official transcript... Conqueror89: @ fabcol and all. U guys are awesome. Please to pur my mind at rest. I guess I can as well certify my student copy and send to uni assist with other documments?. If so do I still need to request for the official transcript later on? I await your responses. Thanks |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Fabcol(m): 2:26pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Sure, if its signed and stamped Google should give u a way to do that...there should b an app for it lecksam: You are always on point with your explicit explanation.. thanks .. can I send the electronic copy to the school if it’s an online application? And how can I convert the electronic copy to the precise pdf required by the school .. |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Fabcol(m): 12:29pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Personally I prefer using the official transcript for applications.. But a lot of people here have used the student copy or electronic copy and still get admission.. So once you get the electronic copy, print it, make photocopies(depending on the number of schools you are applying to), take the photocopies to a notary public(preferable) or High court and notarize..ensure the notarized/certified copies has a red seal, then forward to your schools with other application documents if the school requests you send by post lecksam: Fabcol how are you today? Please I requested for my trancript through ext.ng from my school and it will be sent to my mail(electronic copy) since they won’t accept given by hand . How can I use it for the admission since it will come in soft copy .. thanks for your usual explanation on this thread . |
