ehie007:

for me i don't see anyfin wrong with that, all depends on who is in control, i know some people whose wives earns more, but the men are in charge of the home, before you marry such woman, u will have to let her know that ur in charge and her money shouldnt get into her head, its no easy to find husband, its only stupid women that have money more than their husbands that will start misbehaving, because they will loose eventually,

for me i wont mind if my future wife has more money or earns more than me, because i can handle it, but if u know as a man that u wont be able to handle it, its better u don't venture into marrying her, capishe undecided

U dont have to turn urself into a monster to ur wife just because u want control of the house. Some men do that because of inferiority complex.

What both need is understanding, togetherness, love and respect for each other. When these virtues are present, you wont even know or think of who is earning more.

Na wa! A woman that can't cook can setting herself up for uncertainties. My friend's wife can't cook and somehow, they are very happy together eating her burnt stew and tasteless undone rice. It's not the end of the world. Just take her to a culinary school or something. There's more to marriage than good cooking.

At least she cook however tasteless unlike our lazy KarmaMod. What a pity sad sad sad

My fellow NLs, from this part of the world, women knowing how to cook is inevitable. Cooking is an art that a woman who wants a successful marriage must learn even before becoming a wife-to-be.

In my own opinion, there is no difference btw a woman who does not like to cook and the one who does not like making love with the hubby. They both lack the ingredients that make a smooth and happy marriage. In fact, where sex fails, food may not.

It should also be noted that cooking for once hubby does not make a woman less professional or more inferior. In fact, it endears her more to the hubby. My wife is a banker and a very busy one for that matter. Notwithstanding, she does not play with her cooking. She told me expressly that she doesn’t want me to have any reason to eat outside. Believe me honestly, this makes me love her more and more and I'm always beside her in the kitchen whenever I'm at home helping her with the cooking (cos I'm a good cook too).

So, if you're a lady here and don't know how to cook, pls stop giving excuses and learn; u'll need it sooner or latter.
