Popsy1: OK.. I just gatta talk... d ba3 of d techno f7 z awesum... charged it fully in d morning, used it intensively during d day (takin pix, sendin thru Bluetooth to oda fones, listenin 2 music, browsing, etc).. came bk and wanted d ba3 to die so I didn't charge it.. switched on 3g, increased brightness to maximum and switched on all switchables until d ba3 gave up.. in total, I got mur Dan 20hrs!!!

Na true! For your mind. I beg enter house make u sleep so that d beautiful dream go comot for ya eyes. 20 hrs with intensive use, na otondos u think say dey for here?

viazi: @ All even if you have made mistakes about your initial battery charging, I believe it can be remedied. Simply use up your battery and then ensure U CHARGE FULLY WITH FULL VOLTAGE, IF POSSIBLE PLUG YOUR CHARGER TO A STABILISER ON NEPA LIGHT AND ALOW 30 MINS EXTRA AFTER BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED, THEN APPLY ALL THE BATTERY SAVING TIPS.

ALSO VERY IMPORTANT: it just occured to me that this Machine alows the 2 SIMCARD on 3G, I am trying to figure out how 1 sim can be on edge and another on 3G

Some people comments are annoying me is like putting salt upon injury as if am just buying a phone for the 1st time. I have a little background of GSM architecture as I had worked previously in Zain and Globacom, therefore I can conveniently say I have well above a beginner's understanding of phones. To set the record straight, on purchased the seal was intact and I didn't even put on the phone until it was fully charged using a stabilizer. The bottom line is the phone is an amazing machine but has a poor ba3. When I saw d review of the phone I didn't believe it could boast of all the enumerated features and still sell at about 35k. However, having use the phone 4 a while now I have seen where tecno has cut corners and the ba3 ranks 1st in such areas. All said, at 35k the phantom a is a good buy.

The 3G don't work simultaneously but u can switch between the 2 sims and it takes about 10secs to do that without necessarily having to swap sims.

We spent our hard earned cash to buy something that has a dissatisfactory battery performance and we should lie that everything is okay.?

And to make it worse, their CC can't do anything about it.

Try and spend 34k, buy something that gives you headache and let's see if you will talk like this.

E be like say Na only me and you dey use this phone o! Anyway, have u gone to tecno to complain? I would have done same but am in Benin. Let us get an official statement from them. I had 100% ba3 in the morning went to work with my power bank still came back from work with my phone dead. Now am forced to by a car charger. Guy I can feel your pain cos am also in the same mess. I have suspended my anger until I visit tecno by month end and I pray they have answers otherwise kata kata go burst!

The phone is manageable and would pass for a good phone. Perhaps I had expected the ba3 to be much better off, however, I just realized I bought this phone for just 34k and wanting it to perform like phones dt go for as much as a 100 grand. Bottom line is dt F7 is cheap phone and u would get about the same value for your money. Therefore if u seek a great phone get S4 and if u can't afford to spend so much on a phone then get phantom A (QED).

Can we get a tecno rep to speak on this ba3 issue? Anyone in lag with the ba3 issue should try and visit the tecno service centre and let us get an official statement. I should be in lag by month end and certainly do same.

Faru: @ lexrichy you are indeed a life saver. I got this amazing phone at Abuma Plaza opp Oba Market in Benin. I got the phone from one Mr. Stanley Obialor (08090834771, 08120577020) for 34k. If this phone is made by Samsung I bet it wont be less than 50k. If you have the money and you need a great phone go and get yours it is a great phone.

That's not the case with this. I charged it fully before using it and I am sure others did the same as this is not the first time they will use a new phone. The battery is simply not up to par. At least people used n3 and on the other n3 thread nobody complain about the battery. If a 13k phone can have a good battery how much more a 34k phone. They made a mistake of not bundling their phone with a battery is up to par with the phone's capabilities.

I don't know why people shy away from the truth. The truth about F7 is that it has a very poor ba3. I have consistently maintained in my previous post that the phone is awesome outside of the ba3 issue. Anybody considering buying the phone should know and therefore can make an informed decision.

Thanks peeps for your concern. I feel very sad that a phone ds good why should they give it such a messed up ba3. Outside of the ba3 the phone is well above average. I sincerely hope tecno can do something about it.

When I buy phones I always ensure I charge before use to optimise ba3 and this F7 wasn't an exception. Am not the game type I dont even have a single game installed on my device. Besides calls, I do a few browsing and that is all. What I find rather preposterous is claim by tecno on the ba3 life when in reality this is so untrue. Surfice to say that they lied. If u don't mind the ba3, it is a great phone. However, it is very worrisome for me as I never bargain to continuously charge a phone when I was investing my 34k hard earned cash.

So how do u explain it when u make a 3 mins call and ur ba3 drop by 3%? As per ba3 stop comparing S3 or S4 with F7. Is as good as comparing sleep with death. All I need is how to find a very good ba3 that is compatible with this F7, otherwise am selling off. I can't be bothering my already loaded brain with some ba3 worries.

When u review phone u do it honestly and objectively so as to help others in making guided decision. F7 is a very lovely phone and can compete favorably with d galaxy series. However the ba3 is a night mere and very big let down for a beautiful phone as this. In as much as we are stalked with this phone we need to find our away around this heart breaking ba3 issue. Going forward, we should look for any other very good maker that has a proven record of genuine ba3 which will be compatible with tecno. On the charging issue, I observe that the blackberry charger charges much more faster. In the meantime if we have any tecno agent pls comment as this ba3 issue can crash ur hard earned clientele if left unresolved.

My screen brightness is at the bearest minimum. The truth must be said, the ba3 is a big let down and honestly for a good phone as this it is completely unacceptable. let tecno up their game. That said, is there any samsung ba3 that is compatible with this phone?

This ba3 problem is not funny at all o! Do we have any tecno rep in the house? I had 100% at 8am and by 2.30pm 21% with very minimal usage. Let us know what to expect. Just imagine now my bat is 14%. Na Wa o!
