But if your levels are ok now...i wonder why you are still bleeding

@ all i suggest we pray on the 31st along with the ttc thread..: we should all feel free to drop our prayer requests in addition to the general prayers for preggies and our ttc sisters


I have two:

1. second trimester (which is supposed to be the honeymoon trimester) has been hard for me: iv developed headaches, more food aversions, heightened nausea...and evening sickness....pls join me in praying for divine healing and strength...thanks


2. Also for success at my ongoing job interviews.. sitting at home is driving me crazy...cant imagine doing it for another 6 months till the baby comes....also all the financial weight is on dh...not comfortable with that tje fact that i havent earned a salary in 4 months now

i currently have two prospects and i am the final stages of both....pls join your voices with mine that this job thingy will click soonest

@pink...this is a living proof that God answers all the prayers we collectively pray here....i remember vividly our prayers of thanksgivng for the fibriod situation mid-august

My sincere prayers is that gen buhari's wife will make it to her EDD and also all pregnant women

And that more and more bfps and testimonies will be recorded before the end of this month and continue to flow and overflow till it goes round

And also all those that have suffered a loss (miscarriage) will be compensated in greater measures

...i rememeber when i first joined the ttc thread and read old post and read about someone i think mogbomoya..not too sure now...that met up with the dr she met on this thread (who was into googling and pasting as well) and allowed him to inject her with God knows what! In the student's quarters of luth! Whe is lucky she dint get aids or something more serious

This is a faceless with no means of verification...people need to thread carefully especially with doctors, prophets and the likes

@chimdalu...you too may need to do hormonal profile? What day was this bleeding...it may have been implantation bleeding sha! But when you can do hormonal profile to rule out imbalance

How many days is your cycle and what day are you now! Since you have just 7 sticks and those things are expensive i'll advice you target it well o! So u dont end up wasting the sticks

When you are ready to test
1. Remove a test stick from its foil paper and remove the cap from the test stick

2. Insert the test stick into the holder (the bigger one) in a way that the arrow on the stick and the arrow on the holder are facing each other (the arrows were purple in my own case). The holder will switch on when you have correctly inserted the stick and will flash a smiley face briefly. After this it will show a test sign like a stick to show it is ready for use

3. Put the absorbent end into your urine for 15 seconds

4. Wait for your result....at this point the test sign on the screen will be flashing

5. After 5 mins your result will be displayed

O is low fertility and this will be displayed for 8 mins

A flashing smiley is high fertility...meaning your oestrogen has risen and you should test the next day as you are likely to get a stable smiley....this will be displayed for 8 mins too

A stable (not flashing) smiley shows you will ovulate in the next 24 hours as not only your oestrogen has risen but also your lh..this will be displayed for 24 hours on the screen

P.s dont forget to eject the stick from the holder after reading and dispose of the stick

I bd'd on the day i got the flashing and stable smiley that was my cd 16&17 and concieved that month

According to my gyneo..midcycle or in btw cycle is never a good thing..pls do a hormomal profile and use more reliable ways to monitor ovulation

And dont beat yourself too hard...your story is exactly like mine...wanted to wait for one year...changed my mind when everybody was popping left right and centre and started trying in the 9th month of marriage

I waited almost a year after actively trying but it came and it will come for you ijn


I kept bd-ing thinking spotting was ovulation spotting or implantation bleeding! And my cycle length started increasing and getting more and more eratic

Metformin for me and wellman and no smoking for my dh......clearblue opk and lots of prayers did the trick for us!

Just get a good gyneo for the necessary tests and keep praying. You will testify soonest

#ripvanwick...from what you'v described...i think its hormonal imbalance.

I used to have midcycle spotting too and initially i thought it was ovulation bleeding and will bd harder but when i went to the hospital i found out it was those immature follicles that were bursting

Pls let her go to the hospital for hormonal profile if she hasnt done that yet!

Can i ask hw you guys calculated her ovulation? Try discussing tvs with ber gyneo so she can be monitored to know for sure that her follicles are growing to maturity

@ tobiegal...i drive everyday.....no effect on me apart from extreme fatigue but i'm sure you are far gone ahead of me.

It depends on the distance and traffic! Cuz driving in traffic is stressful even to non preggies

I plan to hire a driver at 5 months..cant keep up with the fatigue

Can your dh drop you and pick you up for the time being?

Hot Potato: I once went for an interview in Lagos then, and had to stay in my friend's house for 2 nights. The morning of the interview, he left for work very early as usual, only for the wife to come around 10am to ask me if i would take tea with Chin-Chin as breakfast, because she had enough in the fridge. I told her that i don't eat Chin-Chin, and she said ok, that she's going to buy bread for me. I ended up not seeing either the woman or the bread again until i went to tell her by 2pm that i was leaving for the job interview.

Its because you saw her at home at 10am. If she left with her husband in the morning and left a note and the keys for you will you be expecting breakfast?

For all you know she isnt used to making breakfast in the morning.

The fact that she even came to offer you something meant she was coming from a good place. If you dont eat chin chin...you dont have to let her know...a simple thanks..i dont do breakfast would have sufficed....

Do u know if she had a dime in her bag for bread? Which is probably why she hid in her room...

For people that have food for guests all year round! Good for you! Everyone is not the same

It may have been a bad time for them but because its an interview you came for! Timing is not a luxury so they still offered hospitality...i'm sorry cant see anything wrong in what happened

@ all ....pls when does nausea and food aversions actually stop? I'm in my 14th week and if anything i think its been a little worse this week...or maybe because i was expecting relief not sure


Also i'v been having very light cramps which started yesterday....could it be that the uterus has started stretching again?

@nice 14....i am a lot better now....this morning i felt nausea so strong that the contents of my tummy kept rising to my mouth like i was gonna throw up which is strange...iv never thrown up since the bfp and im in my second trimester already

Anyways i spent the day in bed literarily...the headaches and pain are gone and the nausea is a lot milder now...praise God

@ venus na real who release the devil o! Yday night i had severe headache that i had to hold my head in my hands everytme i woke up to use the bathroom...i also had strange cramps....infact everytime i wiped i was so scared i'l see blood.
