You can try another teat. Another trick is to boil the teat till it's a bit tender.

I use avent bottles/teat with a steam steriliser which I believe over time softens the teat.

Another thing is to stick to formula brands. Once you discover a brand she likes, stick to it. I remember there was a certain time (just suddenly) my son wasn't keen on Aptamil but I kept offering it even though he would drink little and refuse the rest. After a few days, he began guzzling everything down and I even had to up the quantity with an extra 20ml.

My dear, it's tommee tippee she has been using b4 dis sudden change. I've changed the milk again to lactogen and I will get Dr brown's bottle

Mompurity2, Wao! See my lovely twinnies pls don't wash their hair daily; once a week is fine. Then condition it and weave it. Also u can get a detangler, dats what I use for my son. Castor oil is also very good and I notice it makes his hair soft and easy to comb

Room temperature, lukewarm or really warm?

Try giving her formula made with warm water and she might take it. At a certain phase, my son won't drink formula except it was prepared with really warm water.

I always give her warm milk. I'm thinkin maybe I should get another teat

Able mama's Abeg make una help me torchlight this matter.
My ds is 10weeks old, I started supplementing with formula (90mls Aptamil) when he turned 8weeks. He accepted it so well for that first two weeks although he never finishes anything more than 90mls. He just started rejecting this same formula since this week and today he cried so much and has refused to even take a drop. I don't know what could be wrong. He currently weighs 6.5kg. Am due to resume work in 2weeks. Don't know what to do.

My baby would be three months in January and I'm also to resume back to work. Right now, hubby and I have the option of getting a nanny(live in\or daily) and a creche. I found one close to where I live. My questions are;

1. Which one is better, a nanny a creche?

2. Is my baby too young like some people say?

3. What should I look out for as I would be going back there next week to assess them.

Please don't jump and pass. I need your input as it breaks my heart every time I think of the fact that I'd have to leave him with someone else.

Teamie hw re u and baby doin? I would suggest a creche. It will be better if u have a nanny that goes to the creche too and u all come back home. I can't trust my child to a complete stranger to stay home alone!

Chanbaby, all these stress is not necessary. I stayed at Westchase and had my son at Oakbend! It ws quiet some distance. If you need your sanity when travellin to av a baby, always mk accomodation a priority! Irrespective of who you av over there, make your own arrangement. There is intown suite on Highway 6. Get yourself your own place! Ur SIL might not be different. Staying with someone for at least 2 months is diff frm 2wks. There are lots of extended stays, look for one so that you will have peace!

2. What happens to your children wen you and hubby travels cos they are still very young

You need to convince them why u want to have this baby in the US eg do you have any complications? Etc
