If your hubby is not with you, he can notarize at the embassy or with a notary public and send it tru DHL, FedEx or UPS to you

lovely people GOODDAY.I need advise I post my trip to USA some years back,I discovered the platform late when I was about leaving for the usa for visit but I also had my baby then,which was disclosed at the Poe was advise to come with my evidence of payment for anything for usa.I went for renewal via dropbox and was told to come for interview which I did.The consular ask me to brief him about my trip,I did including d delivery part.He then said I didn't say that at interview before I cud mak any explaination or show proof of all payments he just give me d denial letter.I intend going for a renewal again and have scheduled for interview,I am scared o.I gave the reason for refusal in my form now and was honest about everything.Can someone just give advise on way to handle this at the interview.Thanks.

Don't worry dear.. it seems to be a common trend for those who had their babies and are doing dropbox. Are you going to have another baby? If not, I would say give it time so you don't come across as desperate. If yes, go prepared again. There is really no hard and fast rules about it. Good luck in your endeavors

Do you know wat he did the other day? Hubby was feeding and said "ahhhhhh (as per open your mouth), my son shouted "apple" ; hubby still didn't get it, he said ahhhhh again and my son screamed "apple" I bursted into laughter when he told me

As I dropped him off this morning, he happily waved me bye bye and followed his minder to the toilet..

for the 1st time today, someone called me by my baby's name instead of the usual 'aunty'[sometimes in derision] of the past. Gave me a very nice warm feeling!

Iam really impressed with the bold especially the "They said dey wanyt d kids to enjoy their childhood" aspect. There are some schools where tough ICT homework is given to a reception kid as if the kid is going to enter high institution the next day. The parents end up doing the home work or employ an evening lesson teacher who now does the home work. How is the child suppose to learn in such circumstances. As far as iam concerned, a 1-3 year old kid should enjoy his/her childhood.

One of my friends wrote a note back to her daughter's teacher dat she should simply tell her the assignment ws for her not d child...lol

1-3yrs is all about building motor skills, making dem aware of dia environmt, encouraging play etc... most schools really get it wrong wit toddler education; only few understand the principles. my colleague's 1yr+ son ws asked to color the Nigerian flag in an 'exam'.. + other ridiculous questions... he withdrew the child frm d skol immediately...lol

We actually dont wear uniforms here. I think its to ease potty training cos of the constant/ accidental wettings.
No homework till they get to our class too;2-3year olds and I was the one that started it sef for our class.
Homework is more like mommy's work at this stage which automatically negates what homework should really be about.

Hey Zaynie, my son hs started school too and they don't wear uniforms as well. They said dey wanyt d kids to enjoy their childhood. Some of their daily activities are story time, sports, circle time, he's been taught letters a - c and numbers 1- 3. Dey re doin a great job with potty training; he takes off his pull up and says 'mummy I want to wee' and he actually does! I was so impressed! Every weekend he comes home wit a book for us to read to him and like you said dey re mostly cartoons e.g. last weekend ws Barney and baby bop. He ws soo excited and listened attentively. They had sports day and he ran 10m race He's always so excited goin to school. Today, they had cookery class wia dey made salad wit cucumber, onions, tomatoes and lettuce and every child took a bowl home. They said the essence is to encourage them to eat vegetables.

So far, I'm overly impressed with them. They have an adult to child ratio of 1:4. Currently they are 13, max is 15 with the head teacher and 4 minders. My son's teacher hs taught for 27yrs in dat school! Every Wednesday is Fruits Day; no artificial juice and the likes so we are ready for our mixed fruit salad tmrw

mamas pls help me shopping for baby alone is no joke. Pls I need u people to advice me on the best diaper and wipes to buy for newborn I am seeing different product. Also shop to buy from. Even baby wipes I saw some for sensitive skin and normal which should I go for (the products I can see here are pampers and huggies)

Mamas that gave birth to male children was this how the kicking and movement was very dis comforting at 35week. Went for ANC on Tuesday and baby is doing great and very active. The movement is giving me sleepless nites. CC fedd..y27, zan.myie

Hey dear, I always start off with huggies little snugglers or pampers swaddlers. For wipes, you can get the ones without fragrance. Some store brands are good like Costco, sam's club member's mark wipes are very good too.

Shopping for clothes: check out carters, burlington, children's place, crazy8, jcpenny, sears, Boston stores. I always take advantage of the clearance racks.

You can only use an infant car seat to take your baby out of the hospital. That car seat can be used till 1yr then you progress to toddlers car seat

Ada87, use your maiden name, give the child is father's surname and exclude the father's name from the BC. Nobody cares if you are married or single over there. If you add the father's name, you will need his consent to process the passport. Good luck with your decisions.
