This is one of the reasons why tinapa had serious problems! People why presenting unverifiable and frivolous receipts! By the time customs did investigation (people were found to be defrauding the fg) In these days of online connectivity, such payment could be easily verified |

Nurse Eliza them, Imposters. They and their trainers should be jailed in a sane country. Except the ones at federal medical center Makurdi are also quacks. Those women can be very hostile to patience ehn, but they can be more harsher to pregnant women in delivery.Thank God for the Doctors who are mostly humane and professional in giving attention to patients |

Gedifokof, getat We may not want to marry them not out of hate but the nature of their jobs which makes them mostly absent on the home front, even by night.Again you have the high exposure to health hazards. In addition, experience have shown that they can be haughty and arrogant with their spouses, maybe due to their relatively high income or the very stressful nature of their schedules. You know women easily lose their cool when stressed.I must admit that in Nigeria, they are mostly sought after for economic reasons, poverty has pushed most Nigerian men to love even what they hate |

ngoziwrites: 25k hotel will move me? 25k hotel? Did you hear yourself.
Well, These post just make me see that men are really depressed and society is not fair to you all.
If a woman wants a stable man- it's gold digging.
But if a man marries a white lady or rich woman - he is smart and sharp.
It's such a pity.
I have proudly dated men earning less. I have started from scratch. But there are stages in life.
Why do men avoid marriage when they aren't financially stable? because it makes no sense in an ideal world.
Women should strive. Men too.
Everyone hustle. Sorry for sounding the way I did.Was truly not in the best of moods at the time I wrote that,I was indeed depressed.I should have been more reasonable.Sorry and good luck going forward in your relationship |

50pseamer: I am not saying I am a saint, infact when there are issues , I apologize more easily than my wife. I feel very strongly for my child, I do not want him to suffer, she complained earlier that I was not helping with the baby and I started helping more, after a while, she said we need to go to a counsellor, I have agreed and also searched for a Christian one, but she prefers the one with a degree in psychology, Sometimes when she offends me I can be blunt, and I might says some words, but not extreme words the words are only an interpretation of the attitude I see. She knows it all, and does not easily take correction, even when I try to play with her she easily takes offence. Mind you all these never happened while we were dating, I noticed a bit of stubbornness and I tried to correct her , and told her that is one of the attribute I hate the most. I am at point that I am not sure she loves me , and I don't even know if everything happening in my home is normal. It's obvious she doesn't love you.I'm in my second marriage and I know the shit I went through in my first marriage and how I'm having it all rosy now. This is how tough marriage becomes for a man when the lady isn't exactly committed to it.I will advise you end it all rather than those continuous heart aches |

No browsing network, poor light and poor leaving condition . I don't think I can cope again. All means to secure transfer back to Ibadan are abortive as the village is in dire need of teachers .The salary is not even enough to travel 3 times in a month ,my only thought is that it's a govt job but it's a very hard environment and it's very depressing. have some attachments. By now you should begin to appreciate how far more civilized the Europeans who came to introduce formal education to our people were. The likes of Mary Slessor etc.As at the time they berthed here, facilities like electricity and piped water along with motorable roads were generally available in their home countries....think of it and make that sacrifice |

Penguin2: Wike was on his way to being the most popular politician from the south after Tinubu until he sent soldiers to massacre Obigbo people.
As if that wasn’t enough, Wike opened his vocal cavity and told the world that he is not Igbo.
Until then, his greatest supporters were Igbos and we wouldn’t have minded him taking our presidential slot but he committed the greatest political blunder the day he made that proclamation.
Now he can’t guarantee Yoruba votes, Tinubu got that.
He can’t guarantee Igbo votes, Peter Obi got that.
I guess he will rely on his Ikwerre and Benin brethren.
Onye ala! Wike is popular with Nigerians, but certainly not with Biafrans |

chrisxxx: Other parts of Nigeria think this is Port Harcourt and environs problem and for that no action is being taken. There is hardly any child aged 10 and below that does not have respiratory problem in Port Harcourt. This is not to say that adults are not being affected. Of course our body has higher immunity but a time is coming when it will be overwhelmed. The breakdown will be catastrophic. Military men sent to PH to fight those sabotaging the environment got soaked with Petro-Dollars. They are the ones opening different illegal refineries presently in remote locations. Nigerians help us. The effect us this will be like the devastating effects of COVID 19 in Euro and America if prompt action is not taking. I live in Benue state and travelled to Port Harcourt sometimes in September.I usually do some one hour of stretching my legs, kind of like a work out. While trying to walk around the area of PH I was staying, I noticed I was struggling with my breathing as it wasn't as smooth a process as it has always been.I thought maybe something wasn't just right with my system.I looked around and I noticed general visibility was very poor as it looked like a thick cloud of smoke was hanging over the place.Eventually, I picked my nose and I noticed it was as black as a car exhaust. It was my host that later explained the whole thing to me.Now I'm back to base and don't see myself staying there as that's cancer loading |

Nyceguy92: It is surprising that some people do not listen to the radio regularly.
I listen to the radio not only for the music and information, but also to learn how people use languages during interviews, drama, panel discussions, personality profiles, etc. I used to have a timetable for programmes like Reggae Time on Radio Rivers 2, FM by Mavelous Macaulay, drama on IBC( Imo State), 20 Questions, and a Philosophy panel discussion on ABC (Anambra), and all the music Jam sessions on various stations I could receive on my radio.
I loved to listen to BBC, Radio France International, Radio Netherlands, etc. In order to increase my reception, I connected my radio antenna to the house zinc roof.
Agreed most of the radio stations have been politicized and only sing praises of the person in office, there are those that still offer good programs.
Even with TVs and online streaming movies readily available, listening to the radio is very educative as well as entertaining. Make it a habit. Thanks for highlighting quite well the benefits of radio.I live in a village where there's a lot of ignorance. In an attempt to broaden my horizon, improve my spoken English and make myself a better conversationalist, I took to radio years ago.Eventually, when I speak, heads turn with many now encouraging me to take to public speaking as a career. All is courtesy of BBC and the likes |

The worst experience was in 2019 when I went to supervise a renovation at Ekpoma, I felt the walls of a standard room closing in on me, then the pressing started, it was the longest and scariest I ever had, I woke up and felt probably it was the clients nephew who threatened me when I first got there that was behind it
I always seem to know when it is about to start, if I am fast enough to lie on my side, I can escape it, lying on my tommy makes it lesser or even does not happen but lying face up seem to be an invitation I had very similar experiences too.Old woman with a scary shape and face coming down hard on me, repeatedly pressing on my chest.I felt so heavy, couldn't even lift my hand! |

Most states schools were created for political reasons and admissions are generally based on connections, blocking, sorting and money power. So, if these brought you in, survival is also by sorting. Lots of young Nig folks think education is about certificates and such states school accentuates that terrible mentality. All you get from such system is "Beans graduates " nothing in their brain. Igbo is most hated tribe in Nigeria today because they stood against these social ills.
Finally, finally, enough of these to go round. The most hated yet there's no community in Nigeria not hosting Igbo people and even allowing them to flourish. You need to come to Benue villages and see Igbo people well settled. You also need to come to our village markets and see Igbos buying up all the food stuffs they can lay their hands on from yams, potatoes, tomatoes to goats among several others.Go to our state university and see Igbos been allowed to read choice courses as they prefer, including our school of nursing.Yet yesterday,we woke up to the news one of our brothers serving in the police force was killed in the most barbaric manner in Igbo land! |
