The National Assembly increased its budget from N125bn allocated to it in 2017 to N139bn in 2018.

They, however, said rather than implement the N139bn allocated to them in 2018, the executive was still paying them based on the N125bn appropriated for them in the 2017 national budget.

The police and government are playing political games and Dino is fully aware of it all.

The first time I heard of Dino was when he was beaten up as a house of rep member in front of school kids —does that sound like a responsible person

It is wrong to assume sm1 guilty without a fair hearing. And neither did Dino carry a gun to shoot anyone himself or give any such orders to anyone. cudnt a fair and open investigation.

this is not the first time dino has ignored police invitations -the last time he had to arrested at the airport,and from what has been written the clerk of the house has been informed of the intention to arrest dino.

dino has said he won't honor the police invitation if it comes from kogi.

There are other cements in the market. Lafarge, BUA, and the likes. The problem is that most dealerships already sell dangote cement. If dealerships can buy more of the others, the sales from dangote would drop. No doubt about the fact that we cannot completely boycott dangote cement but one thing is sure and that's the fact that we can reduce our patronage of his products. When it comes to his consumable goods like pasta and the likes, there are more than enough alternatives to choose from. Again, a 100% boycott cannot be achieved but we can reduce our patronage of his products. Same goes for forte oil. If you can afford to fill up your tank elsewhere other than at forte oil stations, we can do something.

Boycotting their products doesn't mean we would be able to do that 100%. It just means we have to try as much as possible to avoid patronizing them and this would surely impact on their sales.

One thing you are forgetting is the level of demand there is for Dangote’s products.

And the sophistication of his dealership network - Dangote is an African/SE Asian phenomenon- this is a man that has built plants in other African countries and some SE Asian countries

Rather than preach a boycott you should be aiming to be like him.

Politics aside - we need more people like Dangote that would bring a good name to our country.

His political affiliations should never be a bone of contention.

In the next few years, Dangote’s refinery would come on stream - a massive investment that would finally put an end to our importation of petrol - a shameful practice.

By the way, Otedola is selling most of his shares in forte oil

A drowning man would always try to take others with him.

You need evidence to substantiate a claim or else you are going to look like a fool - and this is exactly what atiku is beginning to look like.

The force be it Millitary of Police is not for everyone. If you have no business there you are not required to join. Please note that it is not mandatory. Now if you have joined and do not abide by the rules the government is obliged to take all necessary action to punish you for gross misconduct which includes imprisonment.
