I guess the intention is good -but how many graduates get paid employment --less that 10% in this current climate. 'or when you are financially capable to be 'a' responsible citizen ' --that is subjective what is stopping people from claiming 'I am not financially capable of paying back --for ever'. I still don't think it is a good idea -the government should fix the fundamental issues we are facing in this country -which are poor electric supply and a poor enabling environment to do business. kolaaderin: |
sad news |
we just hope these guys find work...taking a student loan is sometimes not the best option |
I know this is an old thread -but for anyone buying a generator in 2024 review this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMFNnXTRykI I just bought a Elemax Model: 11000EX |
none of the above let him calm down then discuss the issue..lol |
can you tell me where it is done on American soil --indians do not have any schools in america and actually their own kids would not even attend them if they did exist. the problem with indians in nigeria is about class ,they feel superior to black people so only see us as a means to make money. don't let your ignorance make you sound weird |
first it is illegal to discriminate based on race -so it does not matter whether they teach in indian language or english language. I work with indians -they have a caste system which means they discriminate based on skin color and caste ,they are free to practice their culture in india and no one will complain. The school is registered in Nigeria so they MUST abide by the rules in this country. I say the lagos state government should shut down the school and the indians can send their kids to india. you have to wonder why they came here in the first place, so many people have complained about how racist indians are. https://www.kajalmag.com/india-is-the-most-racist-country-i-have-been-to-an-african-americans-pov/ |
technically the tenants should pay -the landlord bought the pumping machine for the house but he/she is not the one using it so the tenants are responsible for the maintenance of that equipment. on the other hand if they have a generous landlord or if the machine has been used for a long time and broke down then the landlord should be responsible. Again the tenancy agreement should have made it clear who is responsible for the pumping machine. |
employing indians might not be a good idea because the quality might be too low. Niger and especially Africa is not seen a great place for them to migrate to. But a percentage of the students would return to Niger and help the state. |
he deserves the 100k ..just wondering what his stomach will feel like the next day |
surprised he was arrested alive |
I intended to write a few short stories but ended up writing only two. Lagos is going through a fuel scarcity crisis. Long queues at filling stations, black market touts selling a liter of fuel for 1000 naira and general lawless reigns. One has to wonder if there is a government in this country. I took a ride from badore to ipaja ( return) and spent almost 50k - is this the norm or was I ripped off - I wll say it depends on how you look at it. Cab drivers come to work on the island and stay for days because it is lucrative working on the island especially at weekends- at least this is what two cabbies told me, it’s easy to strike conversations with these guys and you get to learn more about Lagos. The fuel scarcity is biting deep, stores are closing early due to the exorbitant cost of running their generators. Workers - well dressed people driving their nice cars seem to be on edge - arguments seem to be the order of the day I witnessed not a few but many sometimes the cause is lost in the shouting. But alas home is home. The food is amazing - if you can afford it and seeing family is definitely making the trip worthwhile. The ubiquitous POS - a banking system within a banking system. How this device became the life saver in city forged on corruption. At first it dosent make sense kids sitting along the roadside not selling anything but with the word POS written on a cardboard. This is so lucrative they don’t need to sell charging cards anymore - that is done online using an app. The question - why are people patronizing these kids - corruption. The ATM machines have been rendered redundant. As I was about to use one the cab driver retorted ‘does it have money’ it didn’t actually the security guy said it hardly works. So I headed to the banking hall - big regret, it was teaming with people, mostly younger people looking for some services. It wasn’t an encouraging sign. As I walked out contemplating my next move ( I needed cash) my cab driver pointed out the kid with the POS sign. At this point I got the message he said 2500 for 50k. But he needed to talk to someone (apparently he didn’t have 50k but knew someone who did). His partner in crime a young lady had 50k but only wanted 2k ( the first guy seem to have a second job as a tout). Got out my ATM card got my cash and gave the young boy 500naira for his troubles. The catch-banks seem to have outsourced the work of the ATM machine to these kids - maybe it’s a deliberate way of creating employment. All you need is a POS, massive wads of cash and helping bank that would break their ATM machine. Naija is wild. The banking system is tiered. The first floor is for the ‘have nots’ you join a queue and wait patiently for your turn. But if you a wise to the game you head upstairs where you would meet an empty hall full of young ladies idling away. They are seated at desks waiting for you ( and your tip). This is a privileged service. |
Very neat and tidy girl |
they shouldn't be interfering with any business that create employment there are so many projects that need their attention lekki regional road --abandoned lekki coastal road --snail speed 4th mainland bridge -on paper honestly naija is becoming a joke daily |
good job man..that must have tasted good happy easter |
I feel for those guys who lost their properties -- |
they found a tumor and he had to undergo surgery. This guy is only 44yrs old so it was quite surprising. So if he hadn't had issues stooling then he would not have found out. |
indians are probably the worse human beings on earth I show them no mercy --had a confrontation with a group near landmark beach a few months ago ---the huge slap I gave one of them could have been heard in bangalore. I would not even wish my enemy to visit their country |
you might need to visit the hospital for medical advice --this is definitely not normal A guy I know who had this same problem found out that he had cancer --do not be surprised at what might be lurking in the dark I guess the normal advice would be to ensure you are always hydrated. This I have seen.
|
CartelKenneth:you need to be a comedian...what is there to spy here! ok..maybe how to make amala |
alwayzonlyn:we can never compete with the west -that is a fact we need to accept. All we can do is produce more health care workers and pray the government invests in the health care sector. they need to invest in the hospitals and give those hospitals the best equipment possible |
it's best to treat this by forming some good habits these anabolic steriods alway have bad side effects that might impact you in the long term exercise, good diet and zinc should help https://www.va.gov/WHOLEHEALTHLIBRARY/tools/improving-low-testosterone-naturally.asp |
she should have dropped out a long time and supported Trump |
a plate full of carbs --energy for a struggling day my breakfast is = zero breakfast |
solar is the deal -but you need to be careful of the products out there -my dry cell agm battery died after 1 year of moderate usage so definitely avoid any indian made product. am running on 4 solar panels, mopower inverter and 2 dry cell batteries. carries only the simple devices -fridge,fans,tv and bulbs. This does not carry the AC so I converted to an air cooler instead. my plan now is to increase the solar panel to 8,and by some tubular batteries -probably 4. good luck |
'Please, I really need advice from lawyers that are there, how do you cope migrating. Is it advisable I leave, if yes, what are the first things I might encounter, if am relocating it will be with my family. I just don't want to regret relocating. The exchange rate is just too much
' You would have to decide on your own if leaving Nigeria would be beneficial to you or not. I have seen both sides of the coin -some have become extremely successful and some have failed miserably and it does not matter what profession you are in. The main issue is the lack of a clear objective. You must have a detailed plan. |
I thought gangs of lagos was one of the most violent films I ever watched-I wonder how they calculate the gross earnings.. is this at the local cinemas or worldwide |
hard to explain how our government behaves --but we also have to understand if the traders were given an alternative location. |
The national average salary for a High rise window cleaner is £23,053 in United Kingdom. Not enough to tempt many people |
