couragemurphy:I believe mambilla is in the works and that is 3,000mw of raw power - contract has been signed and construction is expected to commence soon. The irony is that this is a project that has been delayed for over 40yrs. |
webcalculator:But when Mr Zuckerbeg had to appear before the US senate he wore a suit and tie. On a casual visit to people he dosen’t respect he will dress casually - but when it is time to walk into an institution like the US senate or the British parliament he knew how to dress appropriately. |
I think pdp has seen the writing on the wall. Annihilation. Humiliation. |
UnchangeableGod:You are being ignorantly subjective - he is probably better educated than your whole family put together |
deomelo: |
UnchangeableGod:Nobody will put a chain to your neck and drag you to the polls to vote — your constitutional right is to vote for whom you deem fit Also every man is guranteed freedom of speech under our constitution- so prof can say what he likes — APC 2023 and beyond. If the Ibos play their card right who knows?, maybe they would be able to field a candidate under the APC. But life is about give and take — you have to give something. He who pays the piper dictates the tune. |
pdp caricatures........ |
It is very difficult as it is traveling around the world with a Nigerian passport - I guess those who haven’t left the shores of this country wouldn’t have experienced the constant embarrassment of traveling under suspicion. Every port of entry presents another series of questions, innuendos and searches - you evict a sigh of relief once you cross the latest hurdle and walk into the embrace of your relatives on the other side of the port of entry. Now, consider having a president who has publicly been indicted by the US senate ,a man who had to hurriedly sell his ill gotten properties, a man who didn’t have the guts to contest the indictment , a man who’s accomplice was sent to jail, a man who hasn’t set foot in the US for many years. Carrying a Nigerian passport with that type of man as president would be a burden from hell. By insha allah , by God’s grace that type of burden won’t be put on us. And it doesn’t matter if you carry a foreign passport - your country of birth would still be the same - it’s always there. Money cannot buy good character - your leader represents what your country stands for. A famous word from a colleague - I am not prone to hyperbole but, I can’t wait for this to over and buhari declared winner |
tomdon:Why didn’t Ben give up his own salary - abi, isn’t 150bn naira too much for him and his mates. As per the government borrowing - you first need to ask - what is the money used for?, are they borrowed for projects that would help us develop The Lagos Ibadan railway is being built with borrowed money - why? .. because if that was not the case the NASS would have definitely reduced the funding — same they did for the Lagos Ibadan expressway. The Mambilla power project (3000MWs of raw undiluted power) is also going to be built with borrowed money or else it would continue to be a pipe dream. http://www.future-energy-nigeria.com/MambillaHydroForTakeoff 45yrs of of brainless leadership |
Wiseandtrue:If you don’t mind can you clarify what you mean by ‘waiting so long’. This project has been going on since June 2017. This is culled from the an online publication: Leading the group of select passengers was Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi. The 150km per hour speed will be realised early next year when the job is completed. It is comfortable inside the rail car. There are so many other project that have been completed by this administration - a huge feat when compared to the 16yrs of pdp . I really think you should indulge yourself in quality reading - the business daily is a good source so is the punch newspaper. |
pressplay411:was OBJ a Muslim..was Jonathan a Muslim..am I misunderstanding you?...please correct me. |
a pointblank sign of what is going to happen , saraki and co can do absolutely nothing about it.. gaskiya ... sai buhari 2019 - 2023 |
I would really love to see the likes of Dino saraki and the other loud mouth imberciles flushed out of our Democrazy. Dino in particular has been nothing but an utter disgrace - from fighting as a rep member to threatening another man’s wife. Then to hiding on a tree (lol, the foolish coward). But to the point of the thread - sai baba, sai buhari - 2019 to 2023. For those wailers - Lagos Ibadan railway is almost finished — fast track to your pdp kingdom. The beating atithief and bigot obituary will receive would be reminiscent of the way Obama destroyed McCain ( May his blessed soul Rest In Peace). |
boxypane:A National Assembly that has the likes of Dino - we really should be ashamed of these clowns. 15m naira waste in the midst of so much poverty in the land |
kolnel:It’s sad. This quest for easy money is a huge problem for our youth |
Built2last:The question that needs to be answered is - was the money declared at the airport or not. Licensed or not - you must declare that you are in pocession of such funds. |
Ogaga87:It is political - it is an APC program, but guess what , even some PDP governors are supporting it. You see some of them accompanying the VP to the markets. If Saraki or Dogara wanted to accompany the VP no one would stop them, but I guess meeting common market women is beneath them |
Ogaga87:you need to spend some time reading ---the money is disbursed by BOI - https://infopadi.com/trader-moni-2018/ |
hailall:you are worried about his WAEC result (is that where your education stopped) ---why not ask him for his law degree...hmmmmm He must be a genius to pass through University and Law School, practice law for more than two decades without a school certificate. “The whole issue is really laughable but it is sad the extent to which corruption can fight back,” he said. |
The NASS members are scared of this man. Funny why would someone who destroyed jamb forge his waec result — sounds stupid to me. For those who don’t know the history behind this. David Mark has been asked to vacate the government properly he claimed to have bought during the Jonathan era. Ike and others have also been found out. But instead of these dishonorables defending them selves they want to play dirty. Lol. |
dokyOloye:You kidding me. You really listened to that lousy madam P hmmmmm. If not for buhari we won’t have known how much this woman stole. |
Nutase:isn't that good for the local industry----must we import everything . I am in support of the ban on importation of goods that can be manufactured locally |
saraki sounds like a scorned wife --he is in so much pain it seems he knows this is the end of the road for him... adios onijibiti....omo ole |
This is not a new problem and unfortunately there is no cure. What you can do is first -learn to control your anxiety, the more nervous you are the more you will stammer don't think too much of the words you are trying to articulate -learn to let your words flow Ignore the fact that you stammer and just speak -you will be amazed at the flow of your words. Most importantly speak slowly and clearly. |
saraki didnt have the nerve to say that in front of buhari ----cowards die a thousand times...... |
thesicilian:he even has dino as his messenger of good will.. |
FisifunKododada:wrong person mate... |
FisifunKododada:wrong person mate...... even my great grand father had a British education. |
lol..you just have to laugh at these people --16yrs they couldn't complete it..baba comes and finishes the job, pele https://www.channelstv.com/2018/12/20/faan-commissions-new-international-terminal-of-nnamdi-azikiwe-airport/ next level..... |
I am sure they all aticulated ..lol.. |
FisifunKododada:dude the past is the past. move on and get a good education for your future -crying over spilled milk will get you nowhere. south korea,Thailand,China and many SE Asian countries have since moved on after the pillaging and bastardization by the Japanese. Eastern Europe has also moved on. Why not Nigeria -are we going to keep on blaming the British (at least they gave us some good institutions like kings and queen college (among so many other things) which we have since destroyed. We have not been able to maintain anything -railways,airports,roads,national stadium, nation museum ---everything destroyed and laid to waste. we are our own worst enemies, and the sooner you get that into your brain the better. We lack true character, honesty, the respect for honest hard work. I don't know how many countries you have been to -but I have been to many and it is obvious that we are soo far behind. |
festacman:what puzzles me is the quality of the so called legislative aides -these are supposed to be graduates responsible for the content of the bills... |
