Evening gents. I'm here to talk about the excesive and unbearable extortion by members of the police force and FRSC in Bayelsa State. I did my driver's license last year November. I was issued a 'temporary one' pending when I would be issued the original according to them.

Since then whenever I visit their office (FRSC) they would say 'system is down' and that has been their anthem for over three months and they kept telling me that I shouldn't worry that no ones going to disturb me.

Days ago police stopped me and asked for my license I gave it to them they said it has expired and it was boldly written 'temporary.' I tried explaining to them but they insisted I had no license before I could say jack I was at A' division Yenagoa. These men took me to a corner and collected 1.5k from me after pleading with tears in my eyes.

Now the FRSC that issued me the drivers license stopped me and asked of my license after explaining to them they said I should give them 5k or I should go to their office that they were gonna book me. (If you are booked, you'll pay 10k) I knelt down and begged this man cried my eyes out, after telling him my girl just had a baby he asked how much I had I told him 1k.

He said he'd help me with 4k.. I begged and begged. He then said 2.5k or we're going to the office. I just gave him the money.

We are suffering in the hands of these guys and there's no one to help us. I am tired of all these sufferings. We work problem, we no work problem. I have this hatred for the police right now.

I remember during the endsars saga. The road was free for all i was not robbed and neither were
any close relative. I want to join ESN so I can dislodge their checkpoints and burn their stations thereby giving peace to all KEKE drivers in Yenagoa.

Just a peaceful Nigerian whose mentality has been severely changed.

You are at fault, anytime your temp license expired, just request for the extension by a month. Continue like that until the day your permanent license is made available

Just decided to free myself from the emotional abuse I've been passing through for over 3 weeks now.

We've been together for four years but we started having issues when she started copying her friends and when I say anything she'll take it with anger and starts acting funny, no calling, no texting, and lots of dehumanizing words via WhatsApp status.....I called her and have a robust conversation with her but yet nothing change...Ive decided to call it quit so i can regain my sanity back cos d emotional abuse is making me unhappy and going crazy.

This hurt cos I dnt know where to start from again after four good year's but at d same time I need my sanity back..

Hi all, it isn't news women celebrate relationships and marriage more, tends to flaunt it, and for them it is obviously a very huge milestone for them; they see it as a very big achievement.
The reverse is the case for the male folks as most are mostly indifferent and many will prefer to hide it; my question is, why do female value and put so much emphasis on relationship/marriage?

Is it because they have more to gain? Or looking for people to fleece?
