Politics › Re: Dear Yorubas I Want To Know Why You Do This Always? by femicyrus(m): 6:01am On Jun 17, 2023 |
humilitypays: I have been wondering a lot of things for days now or even months prior to the election this year.
In 2012, mostly famous Yorubas; Men of God, Political Activists, Celebrities, Politicians, and even Students, Market women, etc carried the petrol subsidy removal by Goodluck Jonathan's government on their head and slammed Goodluck Jonathan, calling him all sorts of demeaning names even though it was Jonathan's economic team including then CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi that championed the subsidy removal.
Yorubas didn't bother about Sanusi or any other but focused on defaming and condemning Goodluck the President.
Same thing happened in the purchase of arms during Goodluck's regime, Yorubas didn't bother to condemn Col. Sambo Dasuki or Doyin Okupe, but focused on condemning Goodluck Jonathan the President only calling for his arrest and prosecution as soon as Buhari took over office.
But fast-forward to 2022 or so, Yorubas have never condemned Buhari for any of his evil, people killing policies, even the recent currency redesign policy which Buhari himself came out to tell Nigerians that he approved it, and it was Buhari's inlaw that supervised the minting of the currencies, and never for once has Yorubas condemned Buhari massively like they have been calling for Emefiele's head who is just an appointee of Buhari that take orders from Presidency before implementing any major CBN policy like the currency redesign. Yorubas have never condemned or called for Buhari's arrest and prosecution for his abysmal performance and open looting as President of Nigeria like they did against Goodluck Jonathan and now Emefiele.
Now DSS arrested Emefiele, Yorubas are all over the internet and even on the streets celebrating as if Emefiele was the President that just handed over.
DSS have just leveled some terrorism charges against Emefiele for paying an alleged money to Taliban an Intl terror group, and Yorubas are all calling for Emefiele's head even without hearing the full story or caring to know that Emefiele cannot make such payment without the approval of Buhari the President.
Please dear Yorubas, I want to know why you guys are always scared of condemning Northerners when they do something bad but very fast and bold in condemning an Igbo or Niger Delta person even without hearing the truth of the matter? Is it that you guys are scared of Hausa-Fulanis or you hate your Southern brothers so much and ready to slaughter their head to get whatever political favor from Hausa-Fulanis?
This is absurd.
Let's remember that there is divinity, there are forces beyond human control and they must balance life events with time, it may seem rosy and smooth for us now, but what about tomorrow? Because northerners are not contesting to become governor of Lagos state |

Politics › Re: Olisa Agbakoba Applauds President Tinubu On Floating The Naira And Subsidy by femicyrus(m): 5:37pm On Jun 14, 2023 |
Flets: All tinubu has done is to set up Nigerian masses for absolute and perpetual suffering.
Why the urge to quickly float the naira without plans? Do we have sufficient USD to flood the market and meet the FX demands in the near term? If people cannot walk into the bank and buy USD without filling forms A, M etc.... its only little time before USD exchanges for 1000 naira
On fuel subsidy, Why should the masses bear the responsibility of the inefficiency of the FG?,
why can’t the FG protect the boarders to ensure subsidized PMS does not get to neighboring countries?
Why has the FG not prosecuted and jailed anyone involved in the subsidy fraud to stop others from doing so?,
The claim that subsisdy is a burden is fallacy cos the subsidizing the actual consumption of less than 10million liters per day is not a burden compared to the FG’s current fraudulent claim of 66million liters per day. Why not a gradual removal of the subsidy?
Where is the savings from Diesel and kerosene subsidy and what has it been used for?
The student loan bill is a plot by the Tinubu led FG t to stop funding tertiary education in Nigeria leading to the end all education subsidy. Who do you think are the final beneficiaries of these moves, same criminals who will end up looting the funds meant to fund the tertiary education.
What exactly is the role of the Nigerian FG if they relinquish every responsibility to the masses? What sacrifice has the political class made in all these mess? Have their allowances being reduced? Any efforts at stopping the lootings?
All Tinubu has done is to transfer responsibilities to the already suffering Nigerian Masses to ensure there is enough for him and his goons that supported him into office Nigeria is not a country where you fight corruption and win. What the president is doing is preventing corruption. Have you ever bought dollar anywhere at the CBN price before? But big, powerful and connected corrupt business man are those getting it while they sell whatever they buy/produce with it to Nigeria at the open market price |

The arrest of dangote looks almost impossible but if the president can make it happen then that will mark the beginning of liberation for the Nigerian people.
Dangote is the reason why many Nigerians are poor, hungry and hopeless.
Borders were closed and almost everything he wishes to sell are banned from importation
The exchange rate not favorable to Nigerians today can only be linked to the same man.
CBN and politicians are always at his mercy. Why?
What is he selling that is cheap in spite of all the support he gets from every government?
Even government policies are crafted with his interest at heart. |

pfadom: Your conversion is wrong. 3 hours 17 minutes is not the same as 3.17 hours.
17 mins is 17/60 hour = 0.28 hours.
Hence, 3 hours 17 mins = 3.28 hours.
Repeat your calculations and add the cost of converting the carburettor and other modifications. datola: Please ban the rubish okirika. It is our major economy sabotage.
Those illiterates commenting up who want to look like oyinbo do not know it's because of the toxic okirikas that textile industry collapsed in Nigeria.
Textile industry used to be the largest employer of labour in Nigeria. Millions of jobs have been lost because of trade liberalization agenda that allow all rubish from other countries to be dumbed into Nigeria.
If we produce and sew almost all we wear here we would enjoy these benefits among others:
1. Millions of jobs lost will be recreated
2. Most youth will be gainfully employed and thus reduce crime especially insurgency in the North
3. Naira will gain strength
4. Health hazard as a result of wearing toxic clothese will be averted.
5, Nigerian fashion brands will grow
Hope those who want to eat their tomorrow today will understand. Just like they ban rice to create invisible 1 million jobs only to sentence 200 million Nigerians into poverty and hunger. Rice of high quality still sells for equivalent of #8000 across Africa today but here, a poor quality rice is selling for #36,000 |
