Atim90:which package are you claiming bro.... calm down....who send the package and did u pay to individual account? |
Atim90:who is the sender nd have you meet in person Unfortunately this is an old format that no one should fall for anymore...... count your loss |
solin:Thanks for appreciating the effort bro...... Many people on this forum helped me with info when I needed it the most. So I wanna do the same as much I can. |
solin:I will advise u not to call INZ as that might complicate things more. The first question they will ask is where did you apply and did you apply yourself ?Firstly if U have applied yourself, you won’t have any doubt about the authenticity of your visa. I believe the guy never apply, he may had just gone ahead with his evil plan. But if he did apply and was denied and he decided to put a fake one on your passport, INZ still have all your details even though your application had been declined. At the end of most, if not all INZ application forms, there’s a column that ask if you had used an ‘adviser’ which also means ‘agent’ for your application. But because this agent is not a licensed adviser, he would have definitely put ‘NO’. If this is the scenario, you might face a future ban for lying to INZ on your application form. If u still have doubts, just go to the airport and watch any mature pathfinder staff if they can help you... but if u can still do something, do it now |
EKPETI:I have checked all the visas I have access to, ranging from visitor, work, residents, to PR and none of them have any set of numbers like yours. The application number, client number and visa number of visas issued in the last 4 years are all 8digits numbers. The 2 set of numbers that should be on your visa is your ‘client number’ on the left and visa number on the right I will advise you not to buy any ticket yet. I advise everybody on this thread not to use any agent for NZ visa. If u qualify, u will get it with proper guidance. DIY If at most u need an agent, let them charge you for the paperwork. While u apply and courier it yourself with your email and address. communicate directly with immigration. Pay visa fee from your account and have them return your passport to u directly and not agent. If your application is denied, INZ won’t stamp your passport but all these criminal travel agents don’t care about damaging your passport. Except Licensed Immigration Adviser LIA. Which I’m not sure if there’s any in Nigeria. |
LUCAS99:Also students who had graduated in NZ and got a one year post study work permit, can also be given a 2 year work permit after their one year runs out provided they have an employer willing to sponsor them or a skilled job. As they qualify for upto 3 years post study work visa. But that might change soon as the government is considering limiting the 3 years work permit to Students who had completed at least a 3 year degree program. While anything less than a degree gets 1 yr. But at the moment, diploma graduates can still get the full 3 yrs |
EKPETI:in the last 3 years, I’ve had 4 different application numbers and none of these 2 looks familiar......you should have 2 different set of 8 digits number. One is your ‘Application ‘ number and one is Client number. With all these said, I will have to check some of my visas to see if I can find any of these number format u gave before trying to check with the INZ link for employer to check employees visa validity if I can still find the link in my archive. Where did u get those numbers from..... looks like that might be your courier tracking numbers or something. |
timcols:Cost of living is high, some believe it’s even higher than Aussie. 3 bedroom apartment ranges between $450-700 NZD/ week. About getting a job, I don’t know your skill or qualifications so I can’t give an answer to that but if you looking for just any job to get some cash, I believe you should get something within that time. And also does your passport allow you to work or apply for a work permit while onshore,or you need a job offer first? Because except u have a skill that’s in high demand or shortage, you might not get a job offer within the 3 months |
timcols:You can ask your questions here sir, so others can also learn from it...I will try and answer it to the best of my knowledge. Thanks |
suxes2005:Well even though we all have our doubts, but I would love to say ‘Everybody is innocent until proven guilty ‘ So Lets believe all visa are genuine until proven otherwise. When u receive your passport, a small piece of paper will come with it stating your application number and conditions of your visa if they haven’t change their procedures. Hopefully we can do something before you buy ur ticket. |
EKPETI:I can’t remember the link now but will post as soon as I’m free to check for it. Do u have your application number?? How did u get the visa ? |
georgee:Yes they do and you can check the immigration site for more info.... You can come with family if you can afford it...... getting a job shouldn’t be a problem even though might take a few weeks. But most people including myself would prefer to come here, get a job and a place for them to stay before bringing them...... all these can be done in less than 6 months... but I know of some Nigeria couples who came all at once and though was a bit rough in the beginning but they doing great now |
Truth is, marriage as a whole is 4c.k.e.d up and too complicated in this our generation so because of this I have nothing to say....The best adviser here might be struggling with his own marriage... So go on with whatever works for u But by the way, who the 4.ck instituted that the husband must be older in a marriage in the first place?? |
oshe11:O deep |
Bleep Hazard....... best goal ever |
solin:Usd |
solin:The minimum amount will depend on ur circumstances, for instance someone who have a pre-arranged accomodation might bring less than some who doesn’t. But the maximum is 10k NZD. anything above that, u will have to declare it on ur passenger arrival form. Immigration might interview you just to make sure the money is from a legitimate source and not a proceed from crime or money laundering. If u do not declare it and u are caught, You will have to pay a fine. Yes u can open a ‘Migrant account ‘ with ANZ bank or other bank who offer such accounts. Check the ur website for more info about that. I’m not sure about Naija card. But my diamond bank didn’t work when I got here.... I will advise u bring cash as u will get more in exchange. |
kenyd:sorry I don’t know anything about silver fern ....ask @Solin |
murphy02:ok that makes sense......so u have a 3 months visa not 1 year |
murphy02:One thing I’m concerned about ur visa is the 1 year duration of a visit visa..... I may be wrong but I suggest u check the authenticity as NZ only issued 3,6 and 9 months visa..... did u send your passport to INZ yourself or the agent did ![]() https://www.newzealandshores.com/new-zealand-visas/temporary-visas/visitor-visa/ |
spankyflex:ok give it a try then.... |
solin:Yes you right.... I can’t even reply to PM individually...... I understand some are confidential. Many people are reading without commenting and this will help them too and also save us some time for cuppa..........lol |
spankyflex:Lets be realistic here.....1.5M is like 6k here..... and u coming for a seminar..... ur flight will cost over 2500$ and ur hotel and expenses will be around 200k for that 10 days so how does this seminar add value to u and what u do, that u are willing to empty ur account to attend. How is this seminar so important to what u do or ur qualifications. And if someone is sponsoring ur trip to the seminar, what do they stand to gain from you attending this seminar. This is how a case officer will look at it..... So I would say ‘No’ it’s not enough. |
femijck:check ur mail |
spankyflex:didnt receive that |
murphy02:ok ... check ur mail |
murphy02:The most pressing one at the moment is mainly any skill related to construction.... but go for whatever u feel u will fit in d most (ur passion). Any skill is selling.... even without skill, u still selling.. Most employers here are looking for hardworking and people with the right attitude to work and they will spend their money to train u. |
richie04:I will but might take a while to response sorry |
solin:Not really... just telling d truth from my experience....but now it’s all worth it...... |
murphy02:lol.... If you’re not shy to walk into any office, factory, businesses or even social gatherings...... to talk to people, to put yourself out there....to seek for help without being ashamed. And u are physically and mentally prepared for the task, embarrassment and fun of trying to know people or seeking for whatever u want, then u have a chance.....truth is most migrants go through this before they become who or what they are today. Some were lucky, some were not.... PS : This is not an immigration advice but my personal opinion |
solin:Volunteering in NZ doesn’t mean you will be sponsored.... It simply means that why you’re waiting to get ur visa, you are using that period to get some experience, meet people and getting use to the kiwi accent and culture as that will help you when your job hunt begins and also, you get to use them as your job reference in NZ. But volunteering is a bit complicated and u need to understand it. As a volunteer, if u getting any favour either in cash or in kind in return, INZ considered it a job. For instance some organisations will offer u a free car park as a volunteer or even maybe free accomodation . To INZ, that’s a job and breach of your visa conditions. Personally I believe one year is enough to sort yourself out but the question is do u have enough money to survive until you get something doing. If your circumstances in Nigeria is not the one that’s so favourable, then it’s a risk worth taking. But I want u to decide that by yourself. Your chances of getting a work visa either by job sponsorship or any other means depends solely on u and your orientation ( both street and intellectual) People might promise but the truth is they are very busy with their lives as it’s not easy here.... And because of what some of our fellow brothers have done in the past or get involved with. It makes it more difficult sometimes for anyone to help a stranger or someone they haven’t known from Adam |
murphy02:how many months visa is it? |
Unfortunately this is an old format that no one should fall for anymore...... count your loss
