Buhari's manifesto was generic. This one has some practical ideas that one can see as achievable.

I am impressed by Tinubu's manifesto for being a practical and a bit specific (certainly not largely) in approach. The grey areas remains how to increase local production GDP outside of oil through creative, extensive and intensive diversification of the economy. I had expected pinpoint actions to be taken on short, medium and long term basis. However, it is a good manifesto in my opinion.

I await the manifestos of Atiku and Peter Obi.

Datti Baba-Ahmed could have been emotional and took political advantage of the today's EndSars event but he applied rationalism required of a leader. He is a good muslim. Credit to him.

1. I agree with him that though people may have been unfortunately and needlessly killed at and around Lekki Toll gate on 20.10.20 but there was NO MASSACRE. The massacre narrative failed to impress international community because it failed both test of evidence and integrity test.

2. The truth is that Peter Obi's candidature is a beneficiary of the resolve of young Nigerians to use their numbers to change the existing political order in Nigeria. It happened that it was the same young people that carried out EndSars protest and that event opened their eyes to what they can do by coming together for political purpose. So there is a link but not direct link. I will call it coincidental link. Note that many young people who took part in EndSars protest are supporting Atiku and Tinubu and not Peter Obi.

So in effect, Labour Party and it's presidential candidates Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed are NOT direct beneficiaries of EndSars protest but an indirect beneficiaries. QED

You don't understand. The whole idea of the protest won't be to debate but to rile up government into taking drastic measures. GEJ faced the same and had to call in the soldiers against anti-fuel subsidy removal protesters when he was in office.

The opposition has its youths, remember. And youth is youth. So they can mobilize its youths to protest.

If you vote for Sowore, Atiku, Obi, or Tinubu and believe that protesters will be allowed a free rein then you are sitting on a looong thing. Every government protects itself from opposition hijacking protests to cause confusion. Know this to avoid disappointment.

Imagine Peter Obi winning and the opposition organizing strong protest in Lagos for days or even hijacking this same annual Lekki Massacre commemoration to shake the government of the day. You think Peter Obi as C-in-C will fold his hand and allow things deteriorate. Smh

NIDCOM has its objectives as set up by its Bill properly passed by NASS and signed by president and they don't clash with the embassies. You can read more info on their website.

No I don't think that NIDCOM is useless. It is needed given the number of Nigerians in diaspora though its objectives and may be mode of operation may be in need of creative change. In any case the commission is still young and hasn't been funded properly. It doesn't even have its own proper office yet. Abike Dabiri spearheaded it's formation as chairman House Committee on Diaspora and since it was her baby, FG appointed her to nurture it in line with original vision.

I understand how Abike Dabiri feels. I know what it means to be working one's ass off and still be unappreciated.

However, the young man who insulted Abike Dabiri was daft and by replying in the manner she did, Abike Dabiri belittled her status and office.

However, I believe what triggered Abike to apply this unnecessary vawulence was the the man's social media moniker: Aggressively Obedient - Avoid me.

Peter Obi doesn't need Sheik Gumi. He is pro-Atiku.

Peter Obi has been branded as a principled man but his recent attitude is showing the opposite. He is trying do hard to be everything to everyone. More like a chameleon.

But the fact is that the young people who will vote for you have already made up their minds. All that is needed is these young people to convince the older folks in their families and communities.

But here Peter Obi is engaging in needless courtesy calls that add nothing to his political worth other other than a mockery of the New Order he is representing.
