This is a super statement crafted by an experienced PR expert. Riding on what should have been negatives to imprint your image as a tolerant leader positively in minds of the voters. Good job! |
An aviation expert once said that the largely inactive state airports scattered around Nigeria present great investment opportunities for aviation entrepreneurs to exploit using REGIONAL JET PLANES like in the US. Strange nobody is taking advantage. |
cooooooks:Looks good. |
Ok. |
arantess:Out of context. Thanks for engaging though. |
saintkel:Is Obi an economist? |
Is Uzoho starstruck? Why is he laughing sheepishly? ![]() |
Love what Sanusi said though he didn't suggest solutions. The truth is that saying you will remove fuel subsidy from day one as president means you are either deceitful or you are ignorant of our fundamental economic problems: we are producing little locally for export in addition to our now unreliable earnings from crude oil. So if you are removing the current oil subsidy which will push up cost goods and services locally and if you throwing the forex market to market forces, tell us your plan to hold the economy if things go south. Look, Peter Obi (the breath of fresh air) stated earlier in his candidature of his intention to take Nigeria from consumption to production but didn't say HOW. Other candidates haven't said anything tangible on this. We need a clear, home-grown (not texbook theories) multi-fields diversification plan proposal from the presidential candidates for moving our economy away from dependence on crude oil. Such plans MUST loop in the state governments. We need practical steps including necessary legislative interventions: - Steps to develop crop production, animal production (ruminants and poultry) - Steps to attract FDI, - Steps to develop Niger Delta fishery and other marine resources. - Steps to boost our SMEs, Steps to boost ICT capacity of our young people, - Steps for transparently bringing investors to exploit our solid minerals - etc Buhari came with poorly planned diversification program that didn't involve the state governments for multiplier effects. It lost steam too fast. |
Now, he will end up on death row. |
Good |
Most of the policy proposals of the presidential candidates are too generic. We need practical steps and I guess that's what Rinu is demanding. For example any candidate proposing state police should give details of the - Model to be adopted that will overcome all issues raised by NASS in the past - Mode of operation, - Relationship with Nigerian Police, - etc If the candidate doesn't have this outline of practical steps written somewhere with timelines where possible, then it will be business as usual if elected. |
The Soludo solution is taking off. The future of Anambra State is looking bright. Ka ana aga first! |
Gbengaolowe32:Look, politics is about self interests. That's why Abdulmiminu left Tinubu to join Kwankwanso when Gov. Ganduje frustrated him in Kano State. If Tinubu bypasses the traditional pillars of APC in Anambra State like Chris Ngige, George Muoghalu, etc to work with Andy Uba & co, then Ngige's hands are tied as a relegated man. Recall, Ngige singlehandedly planted ACN in Anambra State against all odds. Interestingly, Ngige fought and uprooted late Kemi Nelson and other Tinubu's nominees from NSITF, which led to that famous face-off with Rep. James Faleke the current secretary of Tinubu Campaign Council. Many things dey! But one thing is certain: Ngige is a epitome of coconut head. He no send anybody if he feels he is right. He was my governor whom I and millions of Ndi Anambra adore as a fighter. |
With four Oloris and may be a couple more on the way, nobody will notice if one Olori vex go her papa house. No more embarrassment for Ooni as life in the palace would continue like nothing happened. ![]() |
I don't know why Dangote is trying to be greedy. Give Kogi State the agreed 10% share and a director on the board. Meet all other obligations as well as good community relations. This is not too much to ask for. |
If Major General John Enenche (rtd) is victimized for doing his professional job based on information given to him, why didn't Anambra State youths reject Peter Obi's candidature because during his tenure as Governor, multitude of bodies were found floating on a river with fingers pointing in the direction of state government. By the way, some persons may have needlessly and sadly lost their precious lives as a result of Lekki incident on that fateful night. However, there is no clear evidence that MASSACRE took place. If massacre happened, the world would have come after Pres. Buhari big time. |
It is not over for starboy unless it is not written. |
Smh |
Some persons may have needlessly and sadly lost their precious lives as a result of Lekki incident on that fateful night but NO MASSACRE took place. If it happened, the world would have come after Pres. Buhari. |
![]() Come to think of it. What do you say when your very close political associates who worked for you ambushed you in your house with looking desperate for your encouragement? Tell them to go to hell! Hell, no! |
Charge the 'movie maker nurse' who was filming the dying patient with CRIMINAL negligence of duty. Nonsense! |
That symbol could simply mathematical. It could be something to inspire. It could be mystical talking deeply about life And it could be cultic showing a snake swallowing its tail. But I feel that Tinubu is a good Muslim with a devoted Christian wife. So ...
|
This is pure ambush. |
It is her right to turn the awards down if she isn't convinced about receiving it. However, I must commend her maturity for not creating negative publicity or throwing tantrums with the rejection. In other words, the rejection wasn't about playing to the gallery but purely based on principle. She is a true Nigerian. |
Imagine state police in the hands of Nyesom Wike against his political enemies. Na die! ![]() By the way, any candidate proposing state police should give details of the - Model to be adopted that will overcome all issues raised by NASS in the past - Mode of operation, - Relationship with Nigerian Police, - etc |
Poten111:Yes, my opinion makes a whole sense to any sensible person. I did my NYSC in Safana, Katsina State. You got problem with that? |
Ezra Olubi is just a talented young nerd who is just working too hard and sweating unnecessarily to paint himself as maverick and out of ordinary. He is obviously acting up because he wasn't anything near this DRAG QUEEN before Paystack. By the way, he is not any special being from some strange planet because what he has done, many has surpassed without needless drama. |
Whoever drew up that Labour Party Campaign Council is massively inexperienced. What a needless piece of de-marketing that is. Lopsided in terms of regional balancing. Abysmal in terms of gender representation. Stupid in terms of appointing state campaign coordinators. Look, the truth is Obedient Movement is different from Labour Party as it has been organically organized and generously funded by very cheerful volunteers. What this means is that Campaign Council has little or nothing to do as Obedients are willing and able to self-drive and campaign effectively. Therefore Doyin Okupe and Peter Obi could have just worked with Labour Party to accommodate all ethnic groups and diverse interests for political correctness without any negative impact on activities of the Obedients. It is not too late make amends as other parties are also still tinkering their lists. |
lereinter:We shall see. |
If PDP's goal is to win 2023 election and Chairman Iyorchia Ayu is passionate about Atiku's presidency, why is it so difficult for him to make simple SACRIFICE of stepping down for an interim chairman from the South? I mean, if the PDP becomes victorious in 2023 election and he is Atiku's 'sweetheart', Iyorcha Ayu could be appointed CoS or SFG or given a prominent ministerial appointment. Here we are, Peter Obi has taken over a generous slice of former SE, SS and NC strongholds of PDP. So, they need the current aggrieved governors and their goodwill as well as their power of incumbency to get as many votes as possible. Therefore, as a neutral, sometimes I wonder why PDP is struggling to solve this simple political equation problem in spite having experienced people in its BOT. It just requires one f*cking man making sacrifice for the good of all. The prize is slipping away and yet even Atiku is sleepwalking. Is it a case of leadership incompetence, pride, lack of ideas? |
Which North? That's where I did my NYSC. Every Northern politician pursue his personal interests within his party. There is never a time a meeting of all Northern politician is called to decide the candidate to vote for. For illustration, a good number of Northerners sympathetic to PDP voted against APC and Buhari in both 2015 and 2019. It is even more dicey now because of emergence of Kwankwanso's NNPP, which the five aggrieved state governors and their supporters could join to strengthen after 2023 election. With Peter Obi's Labour Party taking over former PDP stronghold in SE, SS and some parts NC, the question is if PDP really wanted Atiku to win, why shouldn't Ayu resign, work and be given political appointment after victory in 2023? Look politics is never straightforward. There are twists and turns |
When is Whitemoney opening the long expected WHITEMONEY RESTAURANT ™? Look, he was massively voted because he proved a good chef in the BBN house. So, why did he abandon cooking to become an appalling musician and just events' attendee? |
