ElSudani:Point of historical correction. "Obj and his crew" didn't start Ajaokuta and other steel Mills. Former President late Shehu Shagari and his crew did with Ali Makele as Minister of Steel Development. |
Yul is an adult. If he does any crime today, he answers for it as individual. If he decides to marry 10 wives, it is household. But one thing is certain, every action comes with consequences. |
The truth is that some party ward officers have more 'street' political value than some ex-presidents. This is a democratic election. It is a popularity contest determined by all registered adult Nigerians. Stop this endorsement noise and reach out to the largest number of people. #Fact |
Why are Nigerian politicians making this woman important? Are they seeking validation from her? |
Obasanjo was president for 8 years and didn't do anything revolutionary in developing and diversifying our oil-dependent mono-product economy. Instead, he wanted 3rd term badly and spent public money to secure it but was stiffly opposed by the NASS. Then he imposed an ailing man as president as a way doing the family of his late favor. |
Was it Google Translate that muddled up Bashir's writeup from Hausa to English or that Bashir is so pathetic in writing that he cannot express himself clearly in English to save his political career? ![]() |
The IGP should either obey the earlier and current rulings or approach a higher court for an appeal. That's how it works. Ignoring any court order is not good for the rule of law especially given the fact that IGP is no. 1 law officer. |
They look excited. Where is Davido? |
Ok |
Onana is a banana. |
Bluntemperor:I concur. |
Ok |
Massiveglory:What's my offence? I did a balanced analysis. |
Peter Obi has oratory skill and he is looking for occasions to speak to flaunt it to get votes. Tinubu has the gift of political networking and he is looking occasions to use it to get votes. It is a contest where you use your strengths to exploit opportunities and counter threats while suppressing your weaknesses. I don't think Tinubu as an experienced politician can't play into Peter Obi's ambush. |
Amaju Pinnick was never interested in developing Nigeria's football. He merely used NFF and Super Eagles to advance his personal ambition. Unfortunately, he enthroned his right hand man as his successor in NFF to further advance his interest. It is all about him. So sad. |
Haven't seen his mom in five years? Which planet does she live in that Patoranking can't afford afford a flight to, if she truly cherishes her? Nonsense! |
omonnakoda:The word "not" jumped in from only God where because with it the sentence makes no sense. I have corrected. |
Nigerians not litigious. Americans who would "sue your a*se" at least infringement should be the most litigious people. However, Nigerian politicians are most litigious people because their lawyers who want their share of their loot would always assure that there is a loophole to explore. If Nigerians were litigious, public power supply companies, manufacturers, Nigerian Police, etc would have had their full in court. Nigerians take any sh*t that is thrown at them. Besides, person wey never chop dey sue person. |
Senator Lawan was assured by a member of the cabal Babagana Kingibe, Tukur Buratai & co that he had secured the support of Pres. Buhari to get his successor. He fell for it because of his ambition, which he is entitled to. The problem was that Pres. Buhari in his typical non-committal attitude didn't say yes or no to Kingibe. So, when APC Northern governors settled for a southern candidate, APC chairman Abdulahi Adamu followed the directive of the cabal to announce Lawan as Buhari's preferred candidate. The governors went to Buhari to confirm. This time, Buhari emphatically said that whoever wins at APC presidential primary should be the candidate. Thus Lawan became stranded and left out in the cold. He ran back to his senatorial zone to secure APC senatorial ticket but Kashim Shettima instigated the winner of the ticket never to give it up. Recall Tinubu saying to Lawan on the convention ground after winning that he Lawan would now "lick his wounds". That's exactly what Lawan is doing now. Politics, bloody hell! |
Democracy. |
Provided his umunna were duly informed, given the things due to them in full, and sent representatives to witness the marriage of their behalf, Andy Ubah followed omenala. |
Very happy to see you Genevieve. Please should take good care of herself. Health is wealth. You still have your life ahead of her. Good to see you Genie! |
Composing a press release is good but uploading the video of CJN, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola's remarks at the event will clear all doubts. Simple! |
Gov. Umahi tried for Tinubu yesterday. I am sure he went back to Lagos a happy man. |
Caught in between earning a legitimate living and the fear of being cancelled. ![]() |
There is nothing new here. Tinubu is following the usual template of reaching out to strategic personages and groups for support. |
A CJN should convey an aura of mystery and sacredness through his deliberate TACITURN disposition at public functions. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola might be an expert in interpreting Nigerian laws but he is damn politically NAIVE. Yes, he was trying to make a joke at a gala night but he coined it wrongly and might have set himself up for petitions as a politically biased CJN and I expect Atiku Abubakar to go to work immediately. By the way, the damage Gov. Nyesom Wike did to Judiciary will unravel in years to come as a big scandal. |
Well... |
property123:Is your head empty or are just a zombie? You don't have to question my opinion, express yours. I have expressed mine. |
