First, I believe Nigeria has the fund to revive and transform our educational sector. Apart from corruption, so much money is misused through official misprioritization. For example, the money budgeted annually to sustain hundreds of irrelevant, idle and duplicated research institutes scattered all over the country can be channelled to strengthening education. But it needs political and legislative will as laws setting them up need to be repealed first. Third, Amaechi's contention that the benefits of most FG intervention program have not trickled down to grassroots makes a case for restructuring of our country as States and geopolitical zones can pursue intervention programs that meet the unique needs of the youths in their State or zone. Driving a program from far away Abuja will always achieve little with massive leakage. |

ChoCho54:Recall Buhari was a member of ANPP and later formed CPC. So he is a politician though not deeply savvy due to his military background. |
ChoCho54:When Buhari leaves office in 2023, he would like to be influential in APC. This can't happen unless Tinubu advantage is crumbled. |
Aunty Tiwa, may your heart desire like mine and those of other men and women of goodwill, come true. |
It is obvious that Denrele Edun is a bit queer rather than gay. There is LITTLE femininity about him. His gestures and mannerisms are spontaneously ENERGETIC rather than demonstrably feminine. So he is man with restless soul, with many things (creative turmoil) happening inside of him, which take his attention, which he would have would ordinarily directed at dating activities. His unique outfits and mannerisms are creative energy outlets. Denrele will come good as as faithful husband to a woman who is fascinated about him and therefore be a fan-wife rather than a woman who is in love with him as she as a lover-wife would jealously demand for his attention, which is in short supply. Of course, he will be one crazy dad to his children with zero dull moments. My personal inferences, by the way. |

At the beginning of APC, Tinubu smartly made some moves that put APC structure in key states of the federation under the control of his loyalists. For example, recall that in build up to 2015 election, one of Tinubu's political offices in Lagos was raided by DSS under Jonathan and APC membership materials were seized. So, in effect, Tinubu controlled the master membership register. Now, some interests spearheaded by Atiku Bagudu, Malami, Mai Bala Buni, Amaechi etc who are determined to challenge Tinubu for presidential ticket in APC knew that the first step to be level with Tinubu the master strategist is to scatter his pre-2015 advantage. Naturally, President Buhari bought into it. The truth is that Tinubu is aware of this and I am sure he has developed counter strategies. It's all politics, folks! |

kingxsamz:It is not imposed on her. She has options available to her. |
kingxsamz:Sharia law is not part of Nigeria constitution. Some Northern states adopted it as local law peculiar to adoptee-federating unit, which of course, in my opinion, contravenes the secularity clause in our constitution. |
kingxsamz:Sharia law in its operational principles contains, implicitly, a clause that exempt non-Muslims from its enforcement. |
kingxsamz:Satanism as a body of knowledge offers nothing to illuminate the mind and spur positive energies therefrom. By the way, enforcement of Sharia law has absolutely NOTHING to do with Islamic studies. They are two different things as evident even in many Arab countries. |
kingxsamz:Not ready for religious argument. Believe in whatever works for you but love your neighbors, obey the law and pay your tax. |
kingxsamz:Satan doesn't run things. God does with total omnipotence. I will rather homeschool my children and prepare them for major certificate exams than submit to satanic curriculum. |
Farki:Story! |
kingxsamz:Is her daughter in that particular school by FORCE? Is that school the only one in her area? Is anybody stopping her from homeschooling her daughter? |
kingxsamz:Yes, they will teach her everything in the Bible including the fact that God who is SUPREME over all creatures is most merciful, slow to anger but can be a consuming fire to fulfilling his wills. |
Farki:Sex education doesn't stop "unwanted pregnancies, abortions and abandoned children". Otherwise, these things would have stopped in Western world long ago. |
KenModi:They teach sex education in US but they still have loads of "unwanted pregnancies, sexual diseases and molestation by pedophiles". What do you say about that? |
I bet that Adetutu Alabi will be more comfortable and happy if her daughter is taught sex education rather than religious and moral education. |
Sometimes I wonder if a gentle Gov. Emeka Ihedioha would have stood the heat of IPOB/ESN in Imo State. May be the emergence of a steely streetwise guy man, Hope Uzodimma, as Governor is providential. Just saying, men, just saying. |
Is Twitter in "open discussion" with MONKEYS to be allowed to restart its business in the ZOO? If not, the microblogging site should do the needful. |
Obviously, Twitter lobbyists have met and perhaps made our Senate President happy. This is the same Senate President who tackled Southern Governors' Forum for making a case for cattle ranching that will be a win-win for all parties. Look, before he became the Senate President I used to think that this Ahmad Lawan is an erudite fellow and perhaps a future president. But his inability to offer legislative initiatives that will lift Nigeria up has shown him as being as hollow as the donut hole. He may have been bright academically but he sure has native intelligence in short supply. My take on his unnecessary and excessive submission to the Executive is that it has little to do with Buhari's strong personality but a lot to do with weak mentality and lack of drive. A better politician wouldn't find it difficult to balance things and still be effective. |
1. The MUTUAL suspicion and disdain between Fulani and Igbo was once more echoed by President Buhari by equating Igbo to IPOB. Of course, he knows the difference but he was just rubbing it in there. 2. By emphasizing that South South elders and youth leaders went to him 'nicodemusly' in the night to distance themselves from Biafra cause, Pres. Buhari was smartly applying the age-old principle of "divide and rule". It is a way of saying you supported and voted former Pres. Goodluck Jonathan but his South South has thrown you under the bus. Truth be told, however, the 'divided house' stance of South South may be attributable to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's sense of self-alienation, autocracy and unilateralism. He has failed to reach out to other ethnic nationalities in the South South even as he arrogantly and unilaterally includes them in his version of map of Biafra in 2021. 3. Both Pres. Buhari and AGF Malami are fully aware that cattle ranching is the way to go but it is MYSTERIOUS why they are insisting on open grazing and even trying to apply 1960's policy in 2021 inspite of increase in population and developments that have taken place over the years. Worse still, no thoughts are seem given to the thousands of people that have been killed from herdsmen/farming communities clashes. |
Continuing and completing his predecessors' projects rather than abandoning them to start his own is a big plus rather than a minus. Government should be continuum. |
