Give us a break, Mr. Biden. Bury your 404 in peace and let us enjoy our Sunday. |
It is common knowledge that Wizkid is wealthy. So, why is he showing off money like up and coming artistes ![]() Come on Big Wiz, you are too big for this sh*t. Show us your cash by doing giveaway and lifting up budding entrepreneurs. |
Singing about God doesn't make anybody a saint. There is no difference between Johnny Drille who sings about loving a girl and Lanre Teriba who sings about loving God. After all, whether it is secular music or gospel music, it's basically a HUSTLE targeted at niche markets in order to make money to put food on table and pay bills. Yes, gospel artistes try to avoid scandalous behavior publicly but a lot happens in closets, which God alone sees. It is the truthful and spiritual relationship with God that matters. |
You can't solve a problem you don't understand. You can't create something you are incapable of envisioning. The mind seems closed. I sympathize with my president. The good news is that President Buhari won't be president forever. The truth is that RESTRUCTURING Nigeria is like a baby crying loudly in church, he should be attended to immediately for the church to be quiet. So, whether anybody likes it or not, it is either Nigeria restructure to survive and remain dominant force in Africa or Nigeria continues to experience avoidable fracturing turmoil until something gives. The signs are there. |

Well-thought out write-up. The kind of people needed in Nigeria: Thinking people. Restructure to breathe. Restructure to diversify. Restructure to grow. Restructure to prosper. |
Oyel moni |
Naked Truth: As presently structured, Nigeria can never achieve ORGANIC economic growth and prosperity. How it Started: Well, in fairness, the country was on that road in the 1960s when regions harnessed their economic potentials in line with principle of comparative advantage. How it went: Unfortunately, crude oil happened and Nigeria became 'artificially' rich overnight. Then, the military entry into politics happened and regions were balkanised into states with a Federal Government that is far-away from grassroots assuming unnecessary responsibilities. Things were turned upside down. Regional economic roadmaps were abandoned and hitherto prosperous people became poor as military rulers and then politicians competed to loot oil earnings while our infrastructure decayed and diversification of the economy neglected. The Result: Now, the country has gone full circle and has become poor. Fortunately, we still have numerous money-yielding untapped mineral resources, 'overdose' of agricultural land, enviable marine resources, intelligent human capital and massive internal market due to our population. Way forward: Restructure! Restructure!! Restructure!!! The National Assembly should study how Switzerland and Canada are structured, adapt in line with local realities. To manage shocks and frictions that would arise, PHASE the restructuring with clear TIMELINES. Unleash the massive economic potentials in geopolitical zones and watch NIgeria prosper and become world economic power. |

President Buhari is the commander-in-Chief and appointed and oversees service chiefs. Gov. Wike and indeed other Governors receive hundreds of millions of Naira monthly as SECURITY VOTE, which they don't account for. The least I expect from the president and governors is to collaborate and secure lives and property. So, they should shut the fu*k up and do the gaddem job. ![]() In fairnes, Gov. Wike isn't doing badly in security matters as evident in the way he tightened things up and made it impossible for UGM to cause more havoc in Rivers State after initial killings. |
Ayrastarr:Why do you ask? |

Story story! |
We need the list of people who attended this meeting to know if they have the power to do this. |
All I see is emotion. Making an idol out of fellow imperfect and fickle human being. That's pure emotional outburst expressed with careless abandon. Look, it is OK to love and adore your husband or wife but always make allowance for human foibles and weaknesses. |
From hindsight, that stubborn stand of President Buhari as advised by AGF Malami on open grazing and his poorly advised order to use 1960 Northern law was Buhari's way of calling the bluff of Gov. Akeredolu on that stinker he wrote to Garba Shehu and by extension AGF Malami. It is a way of telling Gov. Akeredolu, "How dare you?". It is more of di*k measuring stuff than the reality. Of course, the reality is President Buhari, Northern state governors and indeed the Fulani elite are all aware that cattle Ranching is the way forward. Governors like Ganduje has taken initiatives on this. So Southern Governors' Forum should keep the pressure on. |
As a man, I bet it will be difficult to sit on this piece of artwork and think straight. Even people looking at you will it difficult thinking straight. ![]() Love the concept though. |
9jaRealist:Dude, thanks for engaging. Appreciate. Stay safe. |
9jaRealist:The teaching of religion and the evaluation of how the instructions are absorbed cannot be discarded because of cheating. That's defeatist. Every knowledge that forms integral part of humanity comes innately and that means that God has already put it there. However, there is nothing wrong with man's effort to make improvements. Don't forget that what brought this thread of intellectual argument is prioritizing religion above sex education and not that sex education is evil in itself. My argument is that teaching about God is paramount and sex education is secondary because the primary innate knowledge in every human that can effectively suffices already exists. VVF, STDs and unwanted pregnancies are NOT essentially part of sex abnitio. Often, these things are self-inflicted. Treating barrennes or infertility comes under medicine and not sex education. Couples can have sex and have been having sex smoothly without them. Look, when a man and a woman lie nakedly together, naturally instincts are capable of driving to satisfying sex. |
9jaRealist:Exactly! And parents often use stories, anecdotes and illustrations drawn from their life experiences and acquired knowledge to teach their children. And teachers are universally regarded as IN LOCO PARENTIS! I agree that you can teach values without religion but any value taught without a spritual force behind it becomes mere guidance for the mind physically rather than that which MOULDS the inner mind. By the way, Nigeria is not the headquarters of "poor public morality". Every country in the world including US experience poor public morality because humans by their freewill abhor control. The only difference is that justice system work more effectively in those countries and so people try as much as possible to stay in line. That Oyibo folks don't teach religion in their public schools doesn't automatically means Nigeria will follow suit. And quality of their education has absolutely NOTHING to do with not teaching religion. |
9jaRealist:Nothing impacts on children's mind more than stories and illustrations. Stories about God in religious studies captivate children and moral lessons therefrom resonate and echoe in their subconscious as they grow. If everybody has to go to church to know God then what's the essence of evangelistic outreaches? Computer science is an emerging body of knowledge but sex is as old as man. People from time immemorial have been procreating and enjoying sex without problems. So your attempt to compare an emerging knowledge with residual knowledge falls flat on its face. There is nothing wrong with studying religion for GRADES because it helps to know how well knowledge is imparted. Yes, we have priests/pastors molesting children all over the globe just as we have priests/pastors all over the globe not molesting children. Crimes or offenses are as old as man. Reason why every action has a price tag including imprisonment. |
9jaRealist:Teach the child about God who created sex but you said teaching about God is irrelevant because it was imported. Look, knowledge and deepening knowlegde of God illuminates and elevates the soul and the soul reaches out to its SOURCE. Now, that's not outward religiosity. Who taught your parents about sex education but their knowledge of God kept them in check. |
9jaRealist:For me and my household, I testify that I worship almighty God. I don't worship sex. God rules the world, not sex. However, feel free to hold your beliefs but love your neighbours, obey the law and pay your tax. Chikena! |
