xwolverine: I bet you didn't read the report. You saw the sensational headline and rushed to post it here without reading.
According to AFP "Scores of Islamist militants in trucks and on motorcycles stormed the town of Gubio, 95 kilometres (60 miles) by road north of the state capital, Maiduguri, on Sat"
How does 90km north of Maiduguri, equate to Maiduguri?
It's a shame your wish for a defeated Nigeria can't come to pass, as the terrorists were dislodged immediately. Now you can run along, no news here. I am not interested in the distance or the place since I don't know Nigeria. All I wanted to highlight was the attack, proving that BH is still alive and kicking. |

Henry120: Your Half-French AH isn't french because it has a french engine...... no, no, no, it is French because it is heavily dependent on French technology, components and Sub-components.
It is the first French Helicopter built outside France. So, what about your favourate T-129? Was the engine developed in Turkey? What about Z10. We have only few countries in the world that produces flying engines as well as motor engines. |

The olifant tank tank self protection kit.
[i]SELF-PROTECTION.
The glacis plate and nose of the hull have been upgraded with the
addition of passive armour and the turret has been fitted with stand-
off armour. The installation of a double-armour floor gives the crew
additional protection against mines. The running gear is protected
against HEAT missiles by new sideskirts.
A smoke screen can be laid by a fuel injection system in the engine's
exhaust. A fire detection and suppression system improves the level
of survivability.[i] |

agaugust: Nigeria trained deputy chief of staff of South African airforce in Nigerian aviation school, we built his foundation, without us he will NEVER fly an aircraft....Nigeria trains South African military top leaders of General ranks, not sergeants, we train your military Generals, we own you o ! . All MK members were retrained by SANDF because their knowledge of military was only limited to African countries guerilla tactics. However, most of them complained that they were not trained up to standard and as a result Russia had to train them all over again. Surely, by now all MK members who were trained by Nigeria undermined their training so much after comparing their training with what they have learned from SANDF |

agaugust: SF ops are secret all over the world. You don't have the military knowledge to know that fact.
Only few important SF achievements are published.
Nigerian SF and US Navy Seals SF both have world record of killing top ranked enemy leadership in surgical strikes. South Africa has no such achievement in your history.....you failed to nail one single enemy leader in surgical strike.
Nigerian SBS is 10 years old. NA commandos are as old as our army. Our SF have been in every war we fought . You must thank Mr Barlow then because what your elite forces could achieve was only restricted to his standard. I wonder if Mr Barlow's tactics will work against his masters who schooled him about military. |

This is what Mr Barlow had to confess about Nigerian military, that they were organised and trained such that they were to fail in any combat. I must confess that we were somewhat disappointed in what our NA colleagues had been taught by "outside" trainers, Leonard. It also reconfirmed my belief that many of our armies are set up to fail as they get bad advice and poor training. Put those two factors together and soldiers cannot other than fail in their mission.I was from this sad state of affairs that I commented on window-dressing training. The Nigerian Army will win its own battles and as I have on numerous occasions commented, troops can only do what they were trained to do. Now that a different approach has become clear, I am confident the NA will exploit this and go on to make all Nigerians and Africans proud. agaugust:
Thank you for giving us the long awaited proof that NO SOUTH AFRICAN MERCENARY fought any battle for Nigeria....all they did was PMC of about 5 men trained 120 Nigerian troops on COIN mobility....added to the Nigerian NDA training we already gave those troops in Kaduna, the backbone military training of those 72 strike force is purely a Nigerian military academy foundation.
Thanks for proving to the world that NO SINGLE bullet was fired in war by a South African mercenary in Nigeria during Boko Haram war.
BTWN....a PMC is a private military company when all they do is training, if they fight on battlefield they will become mercenary, unfortunately, all they did in Nigeria was extra training a handful of Nigerian army trained men.
You cannot build a special ops force from scratch with fresh recruit troops, those men were already Nigerian army soldiers for years before now....trained by Nigeria.
Adding 5 cubes of sugar to my tea that already had 10 cubes before, does no mean you made my tea sweet for me.
So much noise for about 120 men of 72 Strike force....Nigerian army has about 150,000 troops....that PMC trained force is very very tiny
Thanks for proving us right....I like y.our suicide comment
. SA mercenaries fought as told by Mr Barlow, yet indirectly. It will take only the brilliant mind to make that connection. http://sofrep.com/40633/eeben-barlow-speaks-pt-3-tactics-used-destroy-boko-haram/ |

Of course Barlow your new colonial power will play a fool of you the same way British fooled you when they came to colonise Nigeria by telling most of you that you were beautiful even though some of you were ugly. They even gave you mirrors to look at your ugliness. Henry120: Pilgrims security is a Nigerian Firm. The Nigerian Government hired a Nigerian firm to provide specific services.
There's no evidence that the government of Nigeria hired South-Africans.
The 72 mobile strike force isn't Nigeria's most elite unit, it isn't even a Special forces unit. It is a SOF unit.
Nigerian Army Special forces is the army's special forces unit.
The Navy Special boat service is Navy's Special forces unit.
The Airforce QRF is the unit for the Airforce.
The DSS Spec Ops unit, are the S.F of the DSS.
The 72 strike for are only a Highly mobile unit, similar to the 75th Ranger Regiment. Your head must be very confused and suffering from a serious brain damage. Pilgrims was established by South African in Nigeria as allowed to do so by Nigerian government. The owner then recruited South Africans majority of which were based in Iraq and some from South Africa. Don't try to play dumb because your government admitted by words taken from your number one citizen that it has hired PMCs from SA. What of Leon Lotz? |

rka1: It is untrue. Marte was never taken in the first place.
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/dhq-terrorists-sympathizers-fabricating-stories-to-discredit-military-success/207911/
"Similarly, he noted, the claim by some media organizations that terrorists chased out troops and took over Marte cannot be verified as troops were busy elsewhere during the said attack.
However, he added, all efforts to track the terrorists who were reported to have attacked the town have not indicated their presence as claimed. He said: "Surveillance activities are however ongoing although there has been no indication of the large number of terrorists as being claimed in some reports attributed to anonymous sources. "The terrorist are certainly no longer capable of that level of coordinated action by thousands of terrorists as reported".
If there is any man you should show the doors out of your military in order that your military should improve. That man is CHRIS OLUKULADE, he is full of lies and many a times his lies are brought out to the light for all to see. He is a very dishonest man same way as Jonathan wife when Boko Haram was busy slaying people she came out to tell the people that the news were fabricated. Let us bet that not long his lies will be exposed as always had and I will be there to remind you. |
