agaugust: shown us weblink for this your soweto made fighter jet naaa grin grin

so why did south africa import Gripen jet from Sweden, Hawk jet from Britain, Valour Warships from Germany, TYPE 209 submarine from Germany, , Startreak SAM missile from Britain, Exocet and Milan missiles from france....you see why nobody trusts a south african source of information ?
With honour sir http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_High_Performance_Reconnaissance_Light_Aircraft.

With regard to your second comments..... My position was based on the aspects of satellites developments not in more complicated technologies that take many years to develop. For example Fighter jets programme take minimum of 25 years to complete and surely South Africa would never dare to risk such a long time without any jets to protect its people, but that will soon change. Building of satellites is something that any country should be proud of and however is tantamount to an utter disgrace of the whole nation should such programmes be handed over to foreigners to carry out.

Surely your satellites cannot even communicate in igbo, hausa or even yoruba but can relate in not-so- fluent English and Chinese. Is this really want you beat your chest for? You should start to develop your own quality satellites that accommodate your needs. SA would have bought 100s of satellites if they wanted to, but they knew well that such a platform will have potential to undermine the skill and capability of the country as a whole and thus reflect a bad picture to the whole world as a complete failer of our education system.

Yes, I won't be surprised because your slave masters french have told you all those lies.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 6:33am On Jun 13, 2013
DictatorZAR: The only thing Nigeria gave to SA or ANC was a 2year Lagos apartment for Mbeki and a $10m donation. Zambia and Tanzania gave 10times more then Nigerians.

By the way if your sh**ithole was so great how come so many of you are leaving for a better life abroad each day. Are they all tired of street and waterway defications and borehole drinking
This half brains called Nigerians do not understand a thing that there is difference between ANC and South Africa. Nigeria never helped South Africa financially. Apartheid SA was financially powerful with the GDP growth of over 8% and how could they have helped such a rich country if they were poor themselves. Helping the ANC can never equate to helping the whole country and that's a fact. If they demand the repayment of $10M let them demand it from the ANC because the government of SA does not have any debt with Nigeria.

count how many times on this thread you south africans failed mathematical calculations on weapons range and jet speed, etc. you people cannot do averagely complex arithmetic once it is beyond 10+10=20 grin

same goes for you south africans poor geography, physics and chemistry knowledge displayed on this nairaland forum.

i still dont know who ranked south african education above nigeria, maybe we should invite them to nairaland so they can adjust their educational rankings for africa.

seems those published rankings are based on beautiful university buildings and not beautiful university brains !
This is indeed ironical, Nigerians with all their intelligence, they remain one race of black people that continue to kill each other mercilessly to this age. With all their intelligence they fail consistently to develop the status of their universities, roads, hospitals, etc. It get me thinking how can a nation that call themselves giants of Africa and who beat up their chest so high dismally fail to make their mark in the world. Is this not the symptoms of hypocrisy and hallucinations?

Donian007: .co.za AGAIN OH NO!
The domain co.za is South African media equivalent to foreign media. There is absolutely nothing that foreign media will want to know about SA without consulting and where possible quoting from our local media. Anything that they will report about SA other than what our local sources know will be most probably incorrect. I have seen a lot of those foreign media who have decided to report independently about SA without an inside info from their reporters in SA and only to find that they end up reporting lies. Example will be that of French media, who recently reported incorrect news about the number of casualties about SA based on what the rebels have claimed and at the same time denied SA chance to deliberate on their side of story.

solomon111: facts?
Only a southafrican denies fact in the face of evidence.
The I.Q of a black southafrican is in the negative index, which accounts for the xenophobia in southafrica.
Btw,what's so special about a satellite?
It's just a bit of advanced electronics.
Don't ever compare yourselves to us.
We are competing with white southafricans, the blacks there are hopeless.

Black South Africans are making their mark in technological developments. They have even developed Small fighter jet all by themselves through paramount group. That chapter of going shopping has been closed long ago in South Africa. By the way, I reiterate, honour goes to Chinese and British with regard to Nigerias space technology.

Do not deny the facts, there is no single satellite in space that was proudly build by Nigerians. Shame to the whole Nigerian nation. Honour goes to the Chinese and British.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 5:54pm On Jun 12, 2013
FACT!!!

Nigeria has never build her satellites, she goes shopping instead. South Africans build her own satellites according to her needs. It will be a betrayal of the nation's honour if ever they can buy satellite which will only end-up being controlled by foreigners on our behalf. Nigerian satellites are controlled by foreigners.

NaijaPikinGidi: You need a lot of schooling to know that DSTv operations in Nigeria are co-owned by Nigerians. You Mr. AndrewZA and young Mr. FighterPilot can only wish that Nigerians were non-existent on planet earth. Nigeria's Companies and Corporate Affairs Commission laws are clear on the fact that foreign companies wishing to setup in Nigeria must have a perentage Nigerian investment and shareholding component. It is the case in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ghana to mention a few! Stop being delusional young men!! At this rate you must be getting quite hypertensive and the Nigeria that you perpetually underestimate.

No apologies ... we hold DSTv shares!
Sorry in your dreams bra.

You are lying, DSTv is the one that owns many business interests in Nigeria. I know South Africans, one thing about them is that they do not betray their honour, especially to the corrupt Nigerians. All DSTv satellites in space are bearing the flag of South Africa.

I am not sure I wish to keep talking to a South African whose country has no single satellite in this modern age. grin

South Africa and elsewhere on planet earth and beyond.
Who cares satellite is satellite, belonging to South Africans. SO WHAT?

when you south africans tell open lies like this, the credibility of all south africans on this forum becomes zero, yet you want us to believe your army k.illed 500 to 800 seleka rebels when your country is well displayed to us here by you its citizens as a pack of genetically advanced serial liars !

you south africans are liars ! NigComSat 1 failed long ago year 2007 and was since replaces by NigComSat 1R fully functioning today. your weblink was old story year BBC news dated on page top as year 2008, five years ago.

your second weblink was so fraudulent it cannot be opened, not data in it...probably connection error because you sent it through the expired south african satellite !

current BBC news update as at some weeks ago march 2013, nigeria has 3 full sized fully functioning satellites

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-21954395

come back to nairaland in year 2017 and talk about that your s.tupid zero space/air controlled world war II calibre naval blockade of a global spy/intelligence/monitoring power nation like nigeria.

we are still waiting for all south africans to post reliable source web link to prove that south africa has a fully functioning full size satellite as at today june 2013,
or else your country will drop below kenya in african military ranking table updated today, show us a proof of that your fake dead satellite ! grin
Yellow!! Don't mind my spelling. Nigerias (Chinese-made) first satellite NigSatCom-1 was damaged just after a year in space and was shut down and declared a white elephant in space. Soon Nigeria bought new two satellites in Europe, that is, NigSatCom-2 and a useless NigSat-X which they falsely claimed to have been build by Nigerians abroad which were never even seen with naked eye. The two satellites were lounged to replace the Chinese-made NigSatCom-1 which just disappeared in space. Currently Nigeria has only one fully functional satellite in space. We are tired of your lies and this is what we believe and whatever you say will not convince us.

We remain resolute!!!

are you craaaaaazy !!! DStv is a private television/movie channel for civilian/public use, is that the south african military satellite ? many private companies have satellites for their private business use, you must be absolutely craaaaazy !

south africa has no satellite. period. your country is back in stone age in the military spy world. grin grin
.
You claimed that South Africa does not have any satellites orbiting the earth, I just only wanted to prove you wrong. NigSatCom-2 is also not a military satellite, so what? It does not make you any good to brag about satellites that you have gone to buy like a pair of shoes in Europe. We were the first country in Africa to launch satellite and now the nobody have the guts to dismiss us like a piece of trash. We build our own satellites and have already build one which will be launched soon. We proud about our locally made products.

NaijaPikinGidi: R160 million spent in Central African Republic (CAR)

More than R160-million was spent on the mission in the Central African Republic from January to April this year, Defence and Military Veterans Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa Nqakula revealed in Parliament.

According to the SABC, in response to a parliamentary question from the Democratic Alliance, the minister explained that the R54-million had been spent on operational cost. Of that, R21-million went to allowances. The remainder – over R100-million – was spent on chartering aircraft.

Mapisa Nqakula said that the defence force was uncertain about the amount of ammunition and the number of vehicles left in the CAR by the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) and that these figures would only become clear once an investigation had been completed, the national broadcaster reported.

In response to the question, the minister also revealed that the SANDF has over 1800 personnel stationed on Sudan, as part of a United Nations mission, and in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as part of an African Union mission.

http://za.news.yahoo.com/r160m-spent-car-054626855.html

=================
FOOD FOR THOUGHT

:: Why would a well endowed SANDF charter aircrafts to transport men and equipment to CAR?
:: How organised is the SANDF that they do not know the number of equipment abandoned or sent to CAR, yet they know exactly how many SELEKA fighters they "managed" to kill?
:: One finds it very difficult to connect the dots on this expensive CAR misadventure of SANDF.
You people do not understand, most of the equipment left in CAR belonged to Bozize's government. You must look at the kind of trucks and vans we used during the operation, they cannot be linked to our fleet. South Africa does not use the kind of vans they used in that mission of car.

south africa has NO satellite......truth reveals this major military weakness !

QUOTE :

"South Africa has no functioning satellites orbiting earth because its most recent low-orbit pathfinder satellite, SumbandilaSat, which was launched into space from Kazakhstan’s Baikonur Cosmodrome in September 2009, was damaged in a solar storm in 2010. Although it could still communicate with Sansa, it could no longer perform its primary data-gathering function, so in effect it was rendered space junk."

why do you south africans tell lies so much ? nigeria has 3 great satellites, south africa has zero, no wonder you hated nigerian use of its spy satelliets anytime we mention it on this forum. what a shame, the so called better country soweto republic has no single functioning satellite as at today, and you want to defeat nigeria in war ?

nigeria can watch your president jacob zuma and his 4 wives doing 3_some or 5_some in their garden swimming pool and we post their photos on facebook grin grin grin

in war nigeria is 10 time more powerful than south africa in strategic level high-tech military spying and enemy movement information gathering.

add the new nigerian army made spy space balloons to our arsenal, we will watch all south african army troops/vehicles, air force aircraft, navy warships in real-time and counter attack to win by element of surprise.

south africa is an over-rated noise maker, and you want fight nigeria ? i pity soweto. grin grin grin
