APC horrible leadership with their enthronement of nepotism, flagrant disregard for the rule of law, wasteful spending, arrogance, tribalism and impunity have made the PDP to look like saints, even though they were not. 2 Likes |

BALLOSKI: It's the people who are injecting the country with sleeping therapy that we need to arrest, imprison or even kill. The problems of Nigeria are man-made by our greedy politicians who have hijacked the system to the disadvantage of everyone but themselves. |

Elsudani2: It is only hardened criminals that have been ruling Nigeria. I guess Nigerians like it that way or there is nothing they can really do about it. |

I weep for Nigerian youths. At 34 years most of them are either struggling with getting their first degree due in university strikes, doing apprenticeship for one trade or another or doing Yahoo Yahoo business. Before corruption took the centre stage in our politics, with the institution of some cabal, our heads of states were usually in their 30s. It is only possible today for children from the political class, children and descendants of politicians. And the politicians have made it impossible for the ordinary people to purchase the application form for even a local government chairman or even councillor position. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria will be better under the government of Peter Obi. He has empathy for the people and he has the character, transparency, capacity and selflessness in addition to his abhorrence for waste of money either personal or government funds. |

It is not true that Yoruba people do not buy land and own properties in the southern or Igbo land. I know of a Yoruba man who did a tiling job for me five years ago who bought a piece of land in Imo state. I am also aware of some Yoruba people who have properties in Enugu state. |

I am really surprised that GEJ considered this man worthy for a political position under his regime. I see absolutely nothing noteworthy in his character and personality. His is more of a political thug, playing stomach politics. |

Doing so will lead to hyperinflation and many private businesses will find it very difficult to pay salaries like that. Just throwing money like that does not solve the problem, but will exacerbate an already bad situation and our currency will be further depreciated. Life was a lot better when the naira was equal to the British pound and a lot stronger than the American dollar. People who studied abroad quickly returned home where life was more bearable. Just increasing the quantity of of something does not always add value. Today we have a lot of universities and a lot of graduates, but there is greater unemployment and the quality of a graduate in Nigeria is a lot diminished. We should make our currency a lot stronger, so we can have greater purchasing power in the world economy. There is need to reorganize our political system, which only promotes the creation of a super rich, powerful and comfortable class at the expense of the masses without much consideration for the welfare of the common man in terms of welfare, infrastructure and adequate facilities necessary to make life worth the living. |

If Innoson had been from another part of the country, there could have been a ban on the importation of foreign vehicles so as to give him the monopoly of the automobile industry in Nigeria. |

Racoon: Nigeria is so unfortunate because some criminals will not allow things to go the way they should. Nigerians need a genuine leader who is selfless, not corrupt and has a lot of empathy for the suffering common people. Unfortunately, we find ourselves being ruled by the same group of people with the same mindset of living like lords while the governed scramble, toil and scratch and never make ends meet till they die miserably. |
