yeah I agree, I raised an eyebrow yesterday regarding this ban and some Nigerians were not happy with my comment.

The government is taking away their sources of income without providing another

Nigerians and the way we think. What exactly do we want int this country ? What do we want for ourselves ? A good leader doesn't have to please everyone .

When computers were taking over the jobs of manual workers enmasse in the US, they were all saying same as you said , now look where they are now.

If the govt can present alternative means, they should m if they can't, it is no biggie. Everyone should adapt. Stealing or being a thief for this reason isn't an excuse at all.. other states have done it and it worked , people moved on.. Here we are making excuses for backwardness .
The govt should employ them as what? If you have a solution, say it out, maybe the govt will listen. GOVt are humans too

Believe me, I could write another epistle about this but to keep short and simple, my passion has nothing to do with uni. I wish I discovered what I wanted earlier in life like others but it is what it is.

Let me guess. Your passion is music? You want to be a musician?

I wrote what i wrote earlier from Experience. You can't downplay a degree. I am not even asking you to "carry first" here. I am just saying that you should finish school whatever the case maybe.

While in school, spring up your life goals. You will meet people in school that can help you achieve these goals .

Then, does your passion needs you to be in UNIVERSITY? If yes, you could consider a change of course
If NO, finish your current course . Just 2 years remaining. While you follow the route of your passion.

One thing I can never take away from school is the socials, the connections, the people you meet, The like minds and the inspirations you get from them. You hVe friends ? Yeah? Make una move together to enlighten , help , educate each other. You will kneed these knowledge later on.

Please whatever it is. Don't drop out.

If these boys have no ways of making money, they will turn to illegal ways to make ends meet. Cause I sure as hell know that many of them won’t return home.

There are many places on the island that are hard to access because of ugly traffic. And a lot of these places are places commercial buses can’t enter. The only way to navigate easily especially for people who can’t afford a car is to call a bike.
Most of these boys are uneducated. And yet not all of them can open shops, or work as labourers and securities.

What will replace okada riding for them?

This is the kind of thinking that drives everyone backwards. And then you say, one isn't a good leader when he makes such laws. See, you can't please everyone. No you can't. For forward movement, somethings have to be eliminated for good even without compromise at times. How long can we continue compromising safety, sanity and security ?

The world adapts, everyone adapts.. example is running a company. The company switch to digital mode from Manual. What do you expect the staffs to do? They would learn Digital asap and not complain about why they should continue using manual. Obviously, Digital is far better.

So, the excuse for where the riders will find another means of livelihood is no excuse.

So, if the party started going astray and going against his personal beliefs, he shouldn't leave? Nigerians. You can how entitled Political parties are? It is a political party for God's sake, not a secret cult.

Why don't you try to work inwards withing your party, do the good jobs, citizens will see your jobs and always vote your party . But you will rather be fighting for a popular figure to join your party and you do nothing afterwards.

Remember what happened to Coke when Ronaldo removed it from it's table? Remember how people joined a ponzi scheme because a celebrity endorsed it? Oraimo earpiece got more attention when they said it was fine tuned by 2 face.

The influence of celebrity marketing can't be ignored Frankly, markerters should just know how they will deliver. I remember how guys were into G -shock because MI wore it in one music video.

Glo is one of the company I know is getting it wrong with the celebrity marketing thing. They so much invest in celebrities to market that they don't care if it really has its influnce in customers . I am sure I am not the only one who feels same way. It has no eff3ct on me one bit.

Companies should just know when to use them. It doesn't work for all .

Indomies sells without any popular celebrity endorsement. MTN too( at least not like Glo) ,

No I don't plan on eating the hard copy, but seeing me face to face is not a bad thing. When I did my marriage, I had to travel to his own elder brother that's older than I.

I wish I could agree with you but I don't. I do understand that as an elderly person, you want some certain level of respect . But this stuff is inconsequential, it isn't something to be " too angry" about. Some people advising you here will be angry for reasons less than this . My point is everybody has his own for body .

But, in this life ehn, I advise we let things go and not take it too hard. We aren't getting out alive. We will all die one day and these things won't matter a bit. If you were in his shoes too at this moment, you will do the same . He printed 50 copies, he sent all out and probably forgot or skipped yours knowing that you are someone he could relate easily with. Hence, the e invite. Frankly, e no mean. I don't see any issue with it.
Let's just enjoy life and overlook some things. At this stage of my life, that's what I am doing. It gives me peace of mind as I hold no grudge against anyone for any reason.

Just rethink and see if it is actually worth the anger
