Car Talk › Re: Does Turning Your Car AC On Actually Increase Fuel Consumption? by fineboynl(m): 8:19am On Jun 07, 2023
solmusdesigns:
Yes it does

Your car electric system is powered by your alternator which is powered by your engine

Ac has pumps connected to condensers that uses power

The more the power usage the more the more your engine performance

To understand these... Always check your car RMP on the speedometer when the car is idle and you on your AC

.
what my ac is on on idle i still get between 650-750rmp regardless of ac or not. Car is till silent if you stand around the car you won’t even know of the engine is running. Most especially if the thermostat has not kicked the fan.

The only I know is a cold start the engine rmp at 1000. But once the car warm up it drop to 700rmp. Regardless of ac or not. That why i like v6. Those 4cyd and small engine struggles to power aircon

Car Talk › Is My Air Con Blowing Too Much. Always Fog On My Windshield And Car Body by fineboynl(op): 7:27am On Jun 07, 2023
Fog forming on my windshield. It get worst at night and to top it all. There will be fog and dow smokes on top of my car. While i feel the cold inside but i see it as normal operations but it seems its too much. In fact when i am going home i use the fog as a form of tint. I will just direct the air breeze to the side glass before 3~5 minutes fog will cover the side glass and i will even find it difficult to see through as i do wind down if i need to look.

Is your air conditioner doing this?

80% of the people i carried on my car they tend to shiver in their seats. And once I noticed i will either turn it off and reduce it. I’m kind of use to cold so i can’t differentiate between normal and too cold. I can sleep naked in a cold room where my friends will all run for cover.

I would like to know if it’s normal and if any car is doing this too.

Buhari Promax. This administration will be worst and according to buhari Nigeria will miss him.

It’s a transition from frying pan to fire.

In less than a year to this government Nigerians will start missing buhari.

Inflation never witnessed in the history of Nigeria before December.

Bag of rice will be for the rich and elite.

Even garri will no longer be for the poor

Funny enough, BAT APC want to use money from fuel subsidy for white elephant project.
Fuel subsidy total removal can cause the price of fuel to get as high as N10000, this is because of the high cost of production, caused by bad government in APC
this administration don't need elephant project at this time. All the borrowed debt projects nothing is coming out from them.

What this administration needs is very simple. Restore the economy and things should go back the way they were before. Bring down the exchange rate. Reopen of the borders. That's what Nigeria need now now elephant project and subsidy remover.

After all of this you will not get upto 3 liter from a full tank.

The only sure thing that will work is avoid traffic hold up. Every other thing will not get you more that 2% saving of fuel.

Tinubu already shows slow response to citizen plights which buhari government was known for. That why why call him buhari promax.

The inflation that will follow tinubu government will be worst times 10 than than of buhari. Even buhari himself said Nigeria will miss him. It was not a mere talk or child play. And that's why will call this government from frying pan to fire

Car Talk › Re: The Effect Of Fuel Subsidy Removal On The Prices Of Cars by fineboynl(m):
Not just only car. If this new price will stand. It will Bleep this tinubu government.

Tinubu government doesn't need infrastructure. All the infrastructure buhari borrowed money was wasted at the detriment of the economy. Car price is will go up as transport increases and motet part’s follows.
Nothing can crash car price when custom charge is above the roof.

What tinubu need is rearrange the economy.

Because with what I am seeing it's about to get tough.
Car Talk › It's Not Funny Again Oh. I Did A Top Up N2500. by fineboynl(op):
While I was driving I bought some small pieces of yam on the way for 5k even after negotiating for several minutes nothing nothing. I bought the yam and drove off.

As I was driving my curiosity told me to check what N2500 top fuel will be on my fuel gauge. I first check their meter price it's was N525. This is my useal filling station where I buy N200 before and their meter is complete but right now they don't spoil it.

It was the queues on Sunday and I was hungry that sunday that was why I didn't buy. As at Sunday many people already knows there will be increased price that following week including me, I even make a topic that Sunday But I couldn't wait for the queues.

See the topic

Ok to confirm I bought 1k fuel in my gallon for generator at home. The gallon happened to be 5 litters. The fuel didn't even come up at all. Just at the bottom. fear catch me oh. Na to go pack car for one side oh.

I use vex enter bar make I calm my brain. To my surprise they told me drink has added price oh.

Car Talk › Is This Another Era For Diesel & A Come Back Of Diesel Engine? by fineboynl(op):
Over the years diesel engine cars in Nigeria had a setback due to the deregulation of that product. Many Nigeria couldn't keep up with the price one needs to fill a diesel tank. Many deisel engine were converted to gas as people tried to avoid diesel engine.

Diesel engine tend to be efficient in economy and power but the price gap between fuel was not encouraging. Many local modular refineries focus on refining diesels because of the price.

Diesel engine suffered a setback in Nigeria as price of diesel engine car drop down significantly. Many importer stop importing diesel engine because of low demands e.g the voswagine golf.

But with the recent fuel increase which bring the gap closers between diesel and petrol, if the policy is anything to go by then it might be another era for diesel engine, diesel engine has more power and fuel efficiency than petrol engine.
Politics › Re: APC Governors Accuse Oil Marketers Of Causing Hardship by fineboynl(m):

Politics › Re: Seun Osewa Thought On Minimum Wage on twitter that got people talking! by fineboynl(m): 10:59am On Jun 03, 2023
Pure water trucks uses petrol. Some years again they abandoned diesel and still using mini van and concerted trucks. As I speak they haven't supplied water since last week. Before you know it the union will hold meetings and fixed the price to N600 per bag. And boom inflation
Politics › Why Did Market Forces Not Affect Diesel And Kereson? by fineboynl(op): 10:52am On Jun 03, 2023
Nigerians are really senseless and foolish. I keep hearing some people say fuel price will come down. Why that if kerosene didn't come down? Why that if diesel didn't come down.

Buhari have layed the ground for dangote to come in. Dangote is a politician and knows how to play it very well. Any sector he venture into the price never remain the same. Dangote price is purely fixing. And that's how it work in Nigeria. Many politician has % from the fixing and why they support him to monopolize the sector's.

Very soon NNPC will be buying from dangote and no body will be allowed to bring in foreign fuel.

Dangote products is cheaper in neighboring countries even when they are produced here in Nigeria. Just to let you know the corruption and price fixing in Nigeria.

If NNPC is to be sincere the price of PMS shouldn't have exceed N350. NNPC created a corruption template all other filling station are now using.

But that's Nigeria for you.
Politics › Re: Is the new pump price a true reflection of unsubsidised crude oil products. by fineboynl(m):
A big size fuel tanker is 30,000.
60,000,000 Fuel ÷ by 30,000 Tanker
= 2000 tanks. There is no way 2,000 Tanker can run around Nigeria in a day. Every filling station will be offloading fuel every 60 minutes.

The road will not contained them with Nigerian drivers.

From my calculations the whole of South that is south west, south east and South South can not consume 500 tankers in a week.

30,000 X 500 = 15,000,000 litter in a week.

1- government revenue has reduced, population has increased. Major oil companies are not investing in oil and gas like before due to green energy objectives . So decreased income. Also official exchange rate has gone up since in the 90s to 2015. Buhari Government took too many loans that need repayment the senate and HOR never stopped him. We are currently servicing the debts with 90% of our revenue. Its just like a man who used to give his side chick free money but he now has heavy debts. Nothing for the side chick again na.

2. Message govt for that information or NBS. Or google it
4. There is no subsidy again. There is no subsidy on diesel and kerosene. And the prices are above 500 naira.
the house of senate and rep allowance should be taking away if Nigeria is really that broke. The presidental allowance should also be taking away. Cut down on all useless ministries is Nigeria is broke. Kill the corruption in fuel subsidy not Nigeria.

There is no problem wirh removing subsidy but pay minimum wage 100k, provide 20hours electricity.
