CreativeWeb:Really? Please how do you compute that? Is it all registered business that must pay (even business name) and isn't it taken automatically or electronically? Thanks in advance. |
Have you been asked to pay?I went to GT recently and was made to know that TIN is now necessary. I think tax payment is now necessary. |
xendra: hmmm! If it is payment ehhh, no go there o. |
WHAT do you fear most at the workplace? Query, suspension, demotion… a sack? Or is it WHO do you fear most? Your Boss? A few employees have sailed the shores of several companies in their career and therefore are in apt positions to describe a typical, fearful workplace or what ignites fear in them, daily. A research in 2012 revealed a few fears of employees but things have really changed and the economy is on a down turn. Few (unofficial) responses collected from millennials recently have revealed more fears that employees have in the workplace today. Making a Big Mistake In this advent of Twitter, Instagram and other social media giants, any word or info mistake is escalated to a point of ridicule. And when it comes to the monies? It could cost a company millions! A single figure omission or addition brings such employee to ruins! Most employees fear this and it reduces/disturbs their confidence level Not Having a Career Though the mentality in this part of the world may have shifted to “once it brings in good bucks, stick to it all the way!” many a few entry level employees (who probably have been ‘profound’ job applicants) are likely to be afraid of not having a career with each passing moment they spend on that job they are not in love with. A Difficult Client Have you ever been in a situation where this particular client will always complain again and again and again and the next mail he/she sends has your boss in copy and within few minutes, Twitter/Facebook is agog with how shitty your Customer Service is or your Sales Response Time is crap? Yeah. That’s a difficult customer/client and they can really tuck fear into employees. A Yelling Boss Most times, the boss is always right. But some other times, you are the right one, still the boss yells, right? Employees try as much as possible not to get in conflict with their boss especially if it’s related to the viability of their work/idea; they try as much as possible to avoid such. But in most workplaces, such conflicts bring about a new level of innovation that evolves to good problems needed to be solved. A Sack… A Sudden Sack Stories abound of how employees are ‘brutally’ let go (or forced to go) without ‘the warning signs’ or without even being given the opportunity to get their stuffs (on PC or in lockers) before they’re motioned to the gates. This gets employees scared (most times) especially when ‘Making a Mistake’ or dealing with ‘A Difficult Client’ is not properly handled or escalated to the right persons who should provide solutions. Oya. Talk true! Wetin dey fear you pass for office... ![]() http://www.acegoals.com/5-things-employees-are-most-fearful-about-in-the-workplace/ |
Your first name is your personal name while your Last Name is your Surname. When you're filling forms or on your CV and your surname comes first, it must be separated by a comma. |
maskamdo: You are right! This was a copy/paste thingI think the OP got it from here... http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/seven-things-never-to-include-on-your-resume.html Original Writer: Laura Larimer, Abshier House |
TaymmyT:One thing you should know is that employers just have connections and staff in the HR Team that do verify every info on your documents when they are sure you are fit for the position. That's one of the reasons why it is advised not to burn bridges when leaving a company. Mostly this is done for more experienced and sensitive roles and not just everybody. But by no means should you lie to your potential employer, they may always find out. Only use the Job Title officially given to you by your previous company. But if you still need to gun for positions which is not your job title but similar in nature, this is where your career summary can come in or your competencies/skills. Always do well to mention 'Account', 'Accounting', 'Accounts' etc if that is the line you want to venture, stylishly but naturally include them. I also do advice: when writing a CV, have three things in mind... 1) Your present job, 2) Your aspiring job 3) Your achievements so far in your career. These three make up for a good CV and what employers would love to see and also what most recruiters program ATS Softwares to note/track. |
Anthos:Here is the grand rule/advice I give to people: If it is not going to get you the JOB, do not include it! ALWAYS include what will get you the job! If your date of birth, state of origin, religion, hobbies, interests, awards etc will get you the job, please include it. YOU KNOW WHY? The job advert may say applicants may be between a certain age range so why not include your age (ONLY IF YOU FIT THE RANGE) and win the Applicant Tracking System (which may be the first filtering call) and then tell the employer you are fit. Same applies to being a Christian or a Muslim (if the job advert specifies) being active in school with evidence (awards) being from the South South (tribe/state) etc... Most cases, the employer filters the massive CVs with the ATS before actually taking a look at the surviving ones and so does big firms like Total, Exxon, PwC, Accenture etc www.acegoals.com |

Hmmmmm |
ojochidem:My thoughts exactly sir. All the 'secrets' spilled here are what another person (in fact persons) would collect nothing less than 5k to teach each person or sell tutorials for. Okay. I really wanted to learn this stuff and one of my very good friends showed me one he was building. I was thrilled by the design and professionalism it was oozing. I 'begged' to come over to his place wherever he was staying in Lagos to spend the weekend and learn. He told me he had not the time and asked me to go search Creativeweb on nairaland. I did and landed on this thread. ANYONE who encounters this thread, has nothing to worry about if only the instructions here are followed. It was later on I realised that the firm I work with is a customer to kudisms and also got to know ojochidem runs it. Now that's what I call a firm. Very professional. Big business will approach you. Price is not a problem. Get your quality right and the rest will be bright. Imagine coming to your website, sending 15,000 SMS messages and I included my number and let's say 2 of my colleagues number. After sending the SMS, I did not get any message immediately. The next day, I get it, 20 hours later one of my colleagues gets the message and the next day, my next colleague gets it. What sort of quality is that? If I don't get good conversion, mehn, I'll try the next vendor even if he charges N2 so long my leads convert quickly due to fast delivery. So, don't compromise on quality and professionalism. They make you a firm and not just a website. There are tons of bulk SMS websites out there but just 2% to 3% are real businesses making good profit, building a name and becoming strong firms. |
haykay2005:@ the bolded. Bros, sincerely speaking, this thread is the best way you can be shown because that particular way you desire may never be shown to you. It's like you're simply saying "show us your secret weapon". Even me wia dey talk, I don't operate any yet; I just design. I remember approaching the owner of a reliable bulk sms website that I've been using since 2012 begging him to "show me the way". The response I received portrayed my foolishness. Then I asked myself, "would I show anyone the way if I knew a very reliable source?" Would you?Till now I still cannot answer that question. Anyway, I'll advice that anyone going into the business should try to build something professional, reliable and lasting... In Nigeria, we have less than 10 bulk sms firms the rest are simply websites Respect to ojochidem and creativeweb. They're doing well. |
PhoneGist:Then must you quote the whole article. What is wrong with people these days sef? What u even typed ain't directly related to any word up there! Nawa to u o! |

CreativeWeb:That's true. Also, you can check the settings first from your Admin area. Admin Menu >> Settings >> SPC GATEWAY/API SETTINGS >> Length of 1 SMS page for multiple pages. If it is blank, it may be a reason for it. Include what you want. |
FunadoysKitchen:Yeah. That's another thing. You've got to have a means by which you can be contacted on your blog. I could not find one. Anyway, send a blank mail to flepzes@gmail.com |
Contact17:Nice blog... great content but you need to really work on your design. Too little for such awesome content. |
FunadoysKitchen:Wow! Your website is just wow! And I'm suddenly craving for some of those yum yum up there... ![]() Okay. Nice website but the template ain't it for such good content. Like someone said... jump breaks are needed. But first of all you need more engagement. Are you on Instagram? Please go sign up for an account if you don't already have one. Share you pics there! I see that only your FB page has got the fun but not your personal FB profile. I do not see anything that shows that you have a blog (except I'm looking at a wrong profile) I'll send you the template I promised @buruike and some others that will be peculiar to your blog. |
buruike:Seems you are not using pictures on some of your posts. No matter what topic you're writing on, there should always be a picture to tell or say more. Besides, it increases engagement I've got a template that I think you'll like. I'll send it to you with the preview later in the day. With good customization, you're good to go. And you may have to include some pages as well. |
Or you could send me a PM |
