Tell him to call his lawyer to withdraw the quite notice by sending you a letter to that effect. Also if you are making any payment make sure his lawyer is involved and there should be an agreement or evidence of payment showing when you're to pay the next rent and how much you are to pay.

They are always making the right decision at the wrong time. Closing down the road at a time when they are always closing the jibowu bridge at will, there are potholes from Onipanu to total which slow down vehicles and do cause serious traffic.

And from Barracks to Costain there will be another traffic due to the construction work going on in Costain. Why not complete Costain road and put a complete end to the traffic from Onipanu to total, then you can talk about fixing the rail line.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Want A Good Job In Nigeria? 6 Factors To Consider by Florblu(f): 7:44am On Nov 08, 2019
I agree with Connection, social recruiting and interview skills.

Though i have never gotten a job via connection before but social recruiting works for me a lot. Nairaland worked for me from 2016 to late 2017 as what we have now are bloggers posting only job links from their blogs.. I intend to revive the Job/Vacancy section on Nairaland soon.
Linkedln has been working for me since 2018 till date. And interview skills is very important. Know what and when to say it during interview

Family / Re: Can You Truly Forgive Someone Without Him/her Apologizing? by Florblu(f): 6:36pm On Nov 06, 2019
AnthCunny:

Thanks so much for your input

I've experienced situations where I 'forgave' someone that offended me, although he wasn't aware that he offended me. I felt was kind hearted enough to forgive him without his apology. To be honest I felt a kind of peace within me knowing fully well that I've forgiven him.

But the day something led to something that I had to remind him of something he did long time ago, he apologized quickly with all sincerity. There was a new kind of peace that enveloped me. It was then I realized that I was deceiving myself when I told myself I didn't need his apology.

For the fact that I easily reminded him of his earlier deed showed that I was still expecting his apology.

Maybe I'm a different human being... lol

What would happen if he refuse to apologize the moment you reminded him of his wrongdoings? Will you feel different or will you deny yourself of the joy you deserve?
Family / Re: Can You Truly Forgive Someone Without Him/her Apologizing? by Florblu(f): 6:33pm On Nov 06, 2019
One of the good things i have learnt is forgiveness. Since the beginning of this year I can't remember forgiving anyone because i refuse to let anything hurt me so why should I forgive when i'm not hurt?

Not everyone will realize their mistakes and apologize for their wrongdoings. Refuse to get hurt by whatever anyone say/do to you and there won't be a need to forgive anyone.
Family / Re: Is It Right For A Wife To Keep Properties In Her Name? by Florblu(f): 6:28pm On Nov 04, 2019
Sanchez01:

This, right here, is one of the problems and mindset people take into marriage. If you have already reserved a space to be 'petty' this way instead of looking for someone who shares the whole idea of 'what belongs to you belongs to us', I'd say it is better to stay away from marriage because problems will start the very moment you look out for those receipts and don't find your name.

What exactly is your point?

Family / Re: Is It Right For A Wife To Keep Properties In Her Name? by Florblu(f): 6:09pm On Nov 04, 2019
Well... It depends on the agreement between us. If he buys a property first and choose to put his name only, when I buy mine, it will definitely have my name ONLY.
But if I'm included as a co-owner, of course we can co-own mine too.

In a situation where I get a property before him, i will add his name to all papers and if he can't do the same when he buys his, then I might not wait for the next hour to remove his name from documents of my property. Since we both wants to be petty.

But really, regardless of whose money is/was used in buying a property, once we are married all funds/properties belongs to US.

And i won't understand why most ladies(both married and single) do lie to their spouse to collect money. I mean if your spouse go bankruptcy you will suffer the loss together and if there is boom you will enjoy it together. So why do you have to lie?

I think a good percentage of girls knew this before now but most guys still believe the best way to woo a girl is to display the little they have.

When a man believe sending details of his bank balance is the only way to get the attention you weren't given him.

Not only in Abuja do we have unoccupied houses, even in Lagos. There are some streets you ply in Ikoyi at night and no reflection of night whatsoever will be seen coming from the house aside an Aboki flashing torch randomly.

Even if the owners are not in the country, they can rent it out or gift homeless people roaming about in the state.

Most of those houses in Ikoyi are where the siphoned money are buried and other gross acts are carried out in them

I'm not a Buhari fan but haba if he doesn't travel who will. No other person can Forster billateral ties like the President of a country.

Even if ministers go there, they will have to come back with a report that will need approval from the President, so it's better the President is there to sign sharp sharp.

Show us the result of the the international collaborations(if any) he has made in the last 4 years and we can proceed

Most companies who valued the freedom of their employees already told them to keep their laptops at work just because of the unlawful arrest these touts are making.

Family / Re: What Can My Sister Do? by Florblu(f): 7:28pm On Oct 26, 2019
I commend your effort so far in ensuring your siblings are fine.

Since she insist on getting a tertiary education, i will advise you enroll her into one of the polytechnics or college of education around you where she can run a part-time program while she work as well in order to support whatever it is you might be giving her. When choosing a polytechnic or college of education please ensure you pick a federal institution as they pay less.

Also, if the men coming to ask for her hands in marriage love her enough to train her in school (which i think only few men will want to do that due to many stories of ladies dumping men who trained them in school after graduation) they can do that as well

The problem of many individual is laziness. They are too lazy to get up in the morning and go to work amidst traffic and rain. Hence, they opt to become an entrepreneur. Some don't even have the required energy and not proactive enough.to get themselves job. Reason you hear them say "There is no job in this country" True! Getting a job in this country.is difficult and tedious.

Most.people who preach to young people about entrepreneurship are.not even successful entrepreneur themselves so I sometimes wonder what pool of wisdom is their knowledge coming from.

My point exactly is entrepreneurship requires more much energy than working for someone. If you are not ready to work twice as much as you are working for another person, then I don't see you become a successful entrepreneur.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is It Important To Disclose Your Employment Status In An Interview? by Florblu(f): 11:47am On Oct 25, 2019
Well...it depends on the requirements on the job adverts. There are some adverts where it is expressly stated that they need someone to start immediately so it is left to you to decide what you want to tell your interviewers.

But if the advert did not require someone who must resume immediately, i think its advisable to state that you are working so as to make the HR/recruiter know you have some knowledge/experience. Moreover, no employer is ready to employ a dummy. Employers want people who can work with minimal or no supervision
