I smiled while reading your complaints because I was once like your daughter, at her age back then. Nicki Minaj was my celebrity hero and Tiwa Savage was like the GOAT for me. I downloaded all their songs, in secondary school that time, I used my friend's phone to download and rap to Nicki's songs, I even had a rap book dedicated to her where I and my friends in school will freestyle to her songs.
At home nkor, my PC instead of using it to do meaningful things that time, anytime my father subscribed data, I'd use the modem to download Tiwa Savage's pictures. I kid you not, I had over 2,000+ pics of Tiwa on my PC. That's to tell you how obsessed I was then. They could do no wrong in my eyes then, tell me Nicki or Tiwa was trash then, and I would kill you .
Ah! they wanted to even conduct deliverance for me that time sef, the obsession was too much.

But guess what? I outgrew all these things esp when I finished sec school and when university show me shege . I hardly listen to Nicki or Tiwa Savage these days. Although i listen to their very old songs seldom anyways but give it time, she'd definitely outgrow this.
Take it from me .


PS: Despite my obsession for them as at that time, I still topped my class and listened to news, read papers and all. Just advice her that she also has to pick up interest in other things. You have a smart daughter anyways, she'd do well.

People complaining that they want the window closed. AC or not, the natural cool breeze cannot be traded for anything. That's why I always go for the seats by the window
