NFF is not there yet. At least they have a goal to be completely independent of the Sports Ministry. They never claimed they didn’t need the support of the ministry. We also have other sports in the country. How well are those associations doing to fund themselves? Do u turn ur back completely on the one that is trying? Is it not to the country’s benefit if most of the associations are self funded?
NFF should gain full autonomy before disrespecting their sponsor.

And u think the Abuja stadium was in a really good condition to host the super eagles at that time ?

well the source you put there still says the pitch was still being worked on anyway that's neither here or there because pinnick also took them to a terrible port harcourt pitch. i still think dalung was the one causing problems after all during the giwa/pinnick leadership tussle when FIFA threatened to ban us it was the same President Buhari who was disrespected who saved the day when dalung was pouring petrol to fire
Since, the ministry purpose of bringing the President to the national stadium was made known to Pinnick, he ought to have respected that decision.

I don't see the ministry supporting NFF as long as Pinnick keeps disrespecting the Presidency.

really? i'm just hearing that now although i remember then there were issues regarding the state of the abuja national stadium pitch. anyway pinnick still took the team to aso rock to meet with PMB before they left for the world cup
The pitch was put in order but Pinnick ignored and went to Port Harcourt.

Pinnick acted on his own accord by taken the team to Aso rock after he had disrespected the office of the Presidency.

Now, the office of the president has unleashed.......to chase after him and at the same time left the federation to Pinnick and co fate since he is the boss.

“The minister of sports has directed that the Abuja National Stadium should to put in shape for the Nigeria and DR Congo friendly match. We are putting everything possible in place to ensure that the turf is ready on time. As you can see, the pitch is now lush green, safe for some few patches which we are working on.

“We are putting in every effort to ensure that the pitch is put in good condition to be to host the Eagles versus DR Congo match. The Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr was also here to inspect the pitch and he is more favourable to playing here from the way he spoke,” an official told Complete Sports.

sorry i don't get the bolded?
Remember, The ministry wanted the friendly match going to the world cup be played in Abuja with the President in attendance to act as send off but pinnick and his crew ignored the plea and went ahead to play the match in Port Harcourt.

That was disrespectful.

until the NFF law is officially promulgated the federation is still under the sports ministry and the federal government has the responsibility to take care of them. it will take a few years before the NFF is fully autonomous which will require legal backing. whether you like pinnick or not he has tried to reduce the financial burden on FG. instead of dalung to appreciate and partner with amaju to sort things out he's doing probe upandan just because pinnick and co probably didn't allow him get his hands on the FIFA 2018 world cup participation money. i suspected before but with the whole missing IAAF $135000 debacle i'm almost certain all this hullabaloo is because amaju no drop.
You should inform NFF about this since they want total independent.

What do you expect from the federation that you don't respect?

The PDP (2011-2015) didn't have a single yoruba person in the top 8 political positions of Nigeria
1. GEJ- President ,2. Sambo- VP ,3. David Mark- SP,4. Ekweremadu- DSP,5. Tambuwal- Speaker,6. Ihedioha- Dep. Speaker,7. Katsina-Ala - CJN,8.Anyim Pius -SGF

They Can’t be Eating PDP Suya and Still Be Eyeing APC Kilishi at the Same Time.
The office of Speaker is higher than DSP hence the Speaker is number 4 citizen of Nigeria.

I doubt if the money they were paid for participating in the u-17 and u-20 afcon plus the u-20 world cup is up to $3m given where they finished...

But then if u subtract the money used to prepare the teams for the tournaments, camp allowance, winning bonus, coaches salaries, etc how much would be left?

The NFF aren't really clean but still it's pathetic for the ministry of sport to ignore them like that..
Ghana budgeted $12m(or $15m) for AFCON preparation!!
NFF wants independence. Independence they have.

Why should the same NFF look up to the ministry of sports for support?

I hope you people are not seeing Iheanacho with the mind of U17 display?...he needs to keep working....the transition from u17 to u20 to u23 to Senior national team is a treacherous and amazing journey...only the gifted, opportune and hard worker make it...

Money...women...wine...can derail many a player...

Iheanacho is gifted, opportune but he is not working hard

When you see Osimhen and Chukwueze play..you see players who work hard...its like Iheanacho waits for the ball to come to him...then with his one legged...and running like a pregnant woman...of recent...Chukwueze has started shooting with his right...before,. it was not like that.

By the way...Amuneke s children has surpassed Manu Garba s children. Manu s children are still toiling...BAR iHEANACHO WHO WENT TO THE WORLD CUP.... while Amuneke s own are already in the AFCON
They have two players each. Ndidi and Uzoho for Manu while Chukwueze and Osimhen for Amunike

First of all, I think Rohr already made up his mind to drop Iheanacho long before he released the provisional list. But why he invited him is what I am trying to figure out.

It could be that he knew there would be no much public outcry if Iheanacho is dropped, but outcry if he invites and drops an inform Awoniyi if he eventually performs in that friendly.

There was no way Rohr will invite Awoniyi and not play him without raising suspicion hence the need not to even list him in the provisional list.

However, Rohr should be blamed for inviting a player who did nothing last season ahead of better players in the first place.

He should be blamed for sticking with Iheanacho for too long when it was obvious he was not doing well in the past 3 seasons.

Nevertheless, it's time for Iheanacho to pickup himself from the dust and start working hard to reach for the sky. It's not the end of the world na.

Ur having of new players was borne outta ur desperation to gain at least a point to stand a chance, because, those that were there in ur previous matches were woeful, u didnt field them(the new players) to give them a chance to display their wares but to win u the game, the case was different with Ukraine who had already qualified. It was a dead rubber to Ukraine, but a decider to us. The new players we paraded were upgrades on the players they replaced but the Ukrainians weren't. So bro, it is incomparable. This argument would have worth it, if the match was a mere formality to us, as was the case with the Ukrainians.

The main factor is here is that the Ukrainians took the match as a scrimmage but Nigeria saw it as a cup final grin
Why did Ukraine still use the same players that played against us in the quarter finals and Semi finals? grin

They played that game with all their might.

We also had new players on that day too. No excuse.

We dominated them. No short on target is a pure lie. Nevertheless, it is never the prerequisite for determining domination in a match.

If the second part happens, then why didn't the boy just play in the U20 World Cup? I do not think he is exactly above that level, and it would have done his ratings no harm at all but that's by the way.

I have never seen/heard that he can play behind the striker or with a striker in a double-9 kinda formation so is it something that will work? He may turn the formation to a 3-6-1 by running constantly to the flanks and we both know Rohr will start Ighalo who isn't much of a goal-threat so we may become toothless.

By the way I read a report that the coach now favours a 3-5-2 although it is conflicting with this recent Owngoal report of 4-3-3
Rohr plans to use both formations and I think it is indeed a welcome development.

The standard for a disobedient and unruly child in the mosaic law is to stone him or her to death. Is that a christian standard too. In the bible mosaic law there was an avenger of death for manslaughter, is that the standard of Christ.
Yes of course! Do we then make void the law? No, we establish the law. How?

If you know this then you are a true Christian.

However, there is a place called city of refuge for one who kills unaware to seek protection. That city of refuge today is Christ where all who recognises they are sinner seeks for life.

Okay, let us not derail.

Would Jesus say these things you are saying? Would Jesus opine that because a person did not report their rapist as at when they were raped, then they enjoyed it?

I don't know what brand of Christianity you follow, but there is nothing Christ like about all you have said. If you want to be a Jew, then feel free to be one, but don't twist Christianity to advocate wickedness and inhumanity
The Bible speaks about God's mind and also expresses the unseen mind of man.

Every words have their significant and meaning. It helps you to know God's mind in certain situation and also makes you know what you are expected to do and consequences of not doing it.

Why did the Paul says?

1 Timothy 5:18 (ASV) For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.

Was this not written in the old testament?

Do you think God is interested in ox or animal? No, he is not. This passage was written for man's sake and it is still being practice by Christians.

The same way that same verses i quoted earlier is still relevant for Christians till date.
