He made his debut for the Super Eagles on October 8th 2015 prior to that, how many matches did he play for his club?

How many MOTM did he win?

How many goals did he score? grin

How many league titles did he help Genk to win? grin

Below showed he played only 6 matches for the whole season in 2014/2015. Prior to his debut on October 8th 2015, he only played 6 matches.

What was the special thing he did for a lowly club like Genk before he was invited to the national team?

If this was what played out, why are people demanding heaven and earth from others before invitations into the SE? grin

Without national team call he would have continued on the bench. So, it's safe to say some players rode on the back of the Super Eagles to glory. grin

Marcelo Bielsa Makes U-
Turn : Enyeama Back In
Training With Lille First
Team

Former captain and goalkeeper of the Super
Eagles Vincent Enyeama has been handed a
lifeline by coach of the team Marcelo Bielsa
following his return from a six months injury lay
off.
Enyeama and 11 others were deemed surplus to
requirements by Bielsa upon his appointment as
coach of the team in the summer , paving the
way for them to leave the club.
However 35 year old Enyeama couldn’t make a
move in the summer as he was recuperating
from the meniscus surgery he had towards the
end of last season.
Now fully recovered the goalkeeper posted a
video of himself back in training with the team
for the first time in six months, a post which will
no doubt mean a return to the national team set
up of Nigeria.
Coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has
confirmed he has had positive talks on a return
with the goalkeeper who left the national team
in controversial circumstances last
year following a row with former coach Sunday
Oliseh.
Wow! if he can make the bench then Enyeama is my first choice going into the world cup followed by Uzoho (if he continues in the first team of Lacoruna) and finally Dele Alampasu. grin

I don't want to see Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechuckwu Ezenwa near that team. grin

I agree whole heartedly.

Nwakali and Osimhen have done nothing to justify a call up. WHATSOEVER.
And some people want to continue to use the national team to boost some players career despite zero performance.

Some if not most, used the national team to as a stepping stone to get their career moving despite the fact that they were bench warmers in their various clubs or academy players while those who worked hard to get to were they are today are still been ignored.

It's already too late. He is now in a position where he has to prove his quality and pedigree.

Memories are very short in football and your only as good as your last game and a season of under achievement does not propel your career to the next level.

I said this donkeys ago. That the true test of your pedigree is not what you can do with top World class players around you. But what you can do without them, how well can you play and impose yourself on the game as a quality striker.

The reality is KC is not an out and out striker he's more of a support striker. I did not watch the match but the reviews abou him are not good.

Leaving Leicester city is not an option at thus point he has to perform football is very unforgiving. If he continues to put in mediocre performances he may find his position in the SE no longer secure.
@bold is what I have been telling some people here since donkey years but they refused to hear.

i think he meant 2009 U17 world cup.

what he said about ajagun being overage is quite plausible. remember adosiye amesiemeka exposed the team captain fortune chukwudi of being an age cheat when he produced a picture of the guy in the feeders team of sharks of port harcourt. also the MRI scan process wasn't 100% then it was still random testing which ajagun could have avoided if someone like chukwudi could scale through.

so all this performing you say he performed during U17 and U20 would be a case of an old man bullying small children

like i have always asked what has ajagun done that makes him such a serious candidate for the super eagles? his club stats anywhere he has played are not exceptional. if like you always argue the NFF are deliberately ignoring him because of some phantom reasons why is it that no reasonable clubside has signed him? true talent always stands out no matter what
Wilfred Ndidi failed MRI test. Alhassan failed MRI test, and so? grin

Kenneth Omeruo was part of that Ajagun set, and so?

Did that stop dem from excelling?

Don't bring age cheat into this matter because all the best players we ever had were products of the same system but you singlehandedly pick out few as public examples while exonerate your beloved. Why?

Stop your public point and kill castigation of players you don't like because they are not your type.

I don't need to educate you on Ajagun exploit in the biggest club in Greece because your mind already biased against him.

Your Abdul Jeleel Ajagun is a wack player. He is also far older than he claims. I have it on good authority he was 25 years when he played Nigeria '99 U-17 World cup.

Never ever compare Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali to that old toad as they are truly young and really good ballers.
How can I take you seriously when you don't even know the year Ajagun played for Nigeria U17, huh?

Kelechi Nwakali and Victor Osimhen wey failed in there U20 exams, na em you wan take compare Ajagun wey pass U17 and U20 test wella even as a captain? shocked grin

Thank God you are not in charge of his career else Ajagun wouldn't have played for the biggest club in Greece and now in Belgium constant.

Your Kelechi Nwakali and Victor Osimhen have both done nothing worthy of note to be compared with Ajagun who had done enough for both country and clubs so far, and they have virtually done nothing worthy of note deserving to be invited to the national team.

If there is any, tell me, what have dey done to be compared with Ajagun or to have merited a call to the national team?

Yesterday, I was able to see leicester-city-fc and Iheanacho. I noticed Iheanacho's confidence level is very low and I think he has come to the reality that he is in an average team, that described his frustrations when his teammates made poor decisions. He has to admit and come to the reality that he has no choice than to adapt to the system and the way his teammates play else he will not get favor from his teammates and coach(ask Musa). He needs to admit there are no Aguero, Silver, Yaya or any quality players of Manchester City caliber in his current team.

However, even if a team is poor, a good player will still show flashes of his talent to distinguish himself from others but that was not the case yesterday after seeing Iheanacho played.

Obviously, there were some things missing in his game.

I. Poor ball control
II, his touches were too heavy and poor
IiI, his cruise control are poor
Vi, low confidence
V, his average passes (was surprised he wasn't given through passes, it was unlike of him)

Therefore, I am adjoining him to take note of these deficiencies and work on them. Hopefully, he can adapt and come good.

He should have taken that opportunity to prove that he can lead our attack.

Come to think of it, both Nacho and Kayode are Mancity loanees , meaning they are on the same level (low table Girona and Mid-table Leicester).

Modified:To me Kayode was eyeing the no 9 shirt.

Iheanacho a bench warmer for City starts ahead of him.

I guess, this resulted to his Mancity move to keep him on the same level with Nacho. If not he could have accepted the Newcastle offer.

Even Dennis Bonaventure and Cyriel will try to score on their debut to secure a position in the team.

The rule still remains the same "score as a striker or loose ur position in the team".
First of all, I do not regard 19 minutes of game time as chance, to make matter worse we were losing and up against team parking the bus.

Secondly, Iheanacho is not on loan from Manchester City, he's now Leicester City full time player while Kayode is a Manchester City player on loan to Girona-fc. Meaning levels don change. grin

Thirdly, both Girona-fc and Leicester-city-fc are both relegation candidate teams but Girona-fc plays beautiful football while Leicester city is currently playing kick and follow. grin

Fourthly, Kayode choosed Manchester City ahead of Newcastle United because Guardiola personal placed a call through to Kayode that he wants him in Manchester City. That was the motivation behind his decision to choose Manchester City.

Lastly, I concur with your last statement 'score goals as a striker or loose your position in the team. grin

What buildup are we even talking about? Is it the one where his touches and ball control can't even be in sync with the way he runs. His ball control is becoming heavier by the day. I don't even know who to complain about. I don't think Vardy and Iheanacho can play together. They were making similar runs today. I was happy when I saw a Spaniard, Iborra, in the MF, but that one self has been demonized by the uncultured passing at Liecester. Iheanacho would now be under immense pressure to score and I hope that does not affect him.

Girona-fc 1-2 Villarel

Kayode olanrewaju was introduced in the beginning of second half after Girona-fc were down by 2 goals to one. He was deployed to partner the main striker though he dropped deep to the act as a SS and sometimes on the wings.

Although, I have seen him played for Girona before now but I noticed his confidence level has grown times ten.

Now, I know why Guardiola personally placed a call to him. Kayode is an all rounder forward player. He can place a through pass with a long ball, he can hold the ball, dribble, defend, play many roles and he is very dangerous in the box. Above all he is a team player, not selfish and I think his pace is equal to none in the SE

However, he has some dirty tricks under his sleeves. He is very experienced and I think he should be in the world cup.

Anyway, he was very lively when he came on and he changed the game.
