U can imagine d kind of people we hav in gov't.
How do you know the medical team didn't carry out any test to prove it's efficacy? Please tell me your source of info.

phreakabit: When the sun don't shine anymore and it gets dark. . . You'd know your true friends. Because even your own shadow will leave you. God bless you Japan! Time to curb and earadicate this menace.
Japan is your friend? Haha. What a joke! All these companies trying to get their untested drugs approved are after the long term profit.

Right now, Mapp pharmaceuticals is working vigorously to produce a large stockpile of Zmapp to send to Africa and make profit. By the way, if this Japanese favipiravir works, they will mass-produce it and sell tons of it to African nations.

These are profit-oriented companies involved.
HealthEbola Patients Lie To Health Workers by Frankenstein(op): 10:36am On Aug 26, 2014
(CNN) -- Earlier this summer, Kelsey Mirkovic, a disease
detective with the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention, entered a hut with her team in Gueckedou,
Guinea, to speak with a man who had Ebola.

Their mission: to get the names of everyone he'd had contact with while he was ill, so that they could stop those people from spreading the disease.

"Who lives with you here? Who has eaten off the same plate as you? Who has bathed you and taken care of you?" they asked him.

Just his wife, the man answered.

Mirkovic and her team knew that wasn't true. They knew he had children, and they knew that in West Africa, families and even neighbors eat off the same plate and bathe and care for sick people. They explained to the man how important it was to stop Ebola, and that his friends and family would be treated with respect.
Their pleas didn't work.

Mirkovic saw this scene play out over and over again. One of her colleagues at the CDC who's worked in Liberia says preliminary data shows they could be missing 40 to 60% of the contacts of known Ebola patients.

"This is one of the hardest parts of the response," said Dr. Brett Petersen, a medical officer with the CDC .Mirkovic agrees. She says she understands why Ebola patients don't want to name names:
There was a rumor going around the communities she worked in that getting on a contact list meant you would die -- and the deaths would happen in the same order as they appeared on the list.

"I understand they're scared," she said. "But it's very frustrating."

Feedmemore: I suspect they are up to something sinister too.

I was reading through an article on the healing of the two (2) American doctors that were given Zmapp and I came across the underneath quote :

And below was my reply:

Don't know if the drug "helped or hindered his recovery"huh I guess their recovery was from prayers and good luck and not the drug. Are you kidding me, the experts are playing dumb that the so called experimental drug may or may not helped cure the two American white doctors. These expert con artists already knew the drug would be successful since the US government created the ZMAPP drug for the military years ago to protect Americans should the Ebola virus be used against the enemy as a biological drug. This expert giving the press conference made a stupid statement trying to cover up the truth. Of course they knew it would save these two doctors. They dont want people to know it is very successful since if it is mass produced and sent to Africa they will not get paid for it and or perhaps it is for the military and not public use..
The US gives out billions of dollars through USAID and several other channels to several countries including Nigeria. They are not saving money. They just don't have enough samples left to give out.

And do you expect the company that spent years and billions of dollars to develop the Zmapp to mass-produce it and give them out for free. Mapp pharmaceuticals that developed the drug is just like our own Emzor pharm. Ok, if it was the Nigerian company that created the drug. You think they will give it out for free?

Some Nigerians are very stupid. A certain Pricewater whatever that probably doesn't know much about the cities listed here made a vague analysis and some people be like Ibadan for life, Kano forever.

What if Nigeria's power sector remains epileptic till 2020 or the country divides. What if boko haram shuts Kano down with bomb blasts? Will our cities be among the top 10 still.

I know the conventional reply will be "it can never happen" but that's what we've been saying and things keep getting worse.

Africa is unpredictable.

nora544: I am a christian and when you read my other post, that I work together with other woman in my country we build a school for poor kids in Kenya and I have two kids there, I pay the school and the food for them since 3 years because they have only a mother who is very poor and this woman didnot have the money that she can send their kids to school.

I can tell you why I start to work against nigerian pastors because they want also to make a church in this villages where the people only have food once a day and take the small money away from them.

I have friends from nigeria and they visit me and they saw how churches work in my country and they ask me why we didnot sow seed and didnot tithe and I explain it to them.
My church sends it's members abroad on scholarship for education or training and provide jobs too. There are also motherless babies homes being funded by my church. We go on widespread feeding of the poor in our area and give out clothes, shoes and stuff to the less privileged. Do you know TB Joshua and the huge philanthropic project he's handling? Have you met all the pastors in Nigeria and accessed them or do you just fabricate things from your basement in Vienna suburb?

How can you label all churches and pastors as bad? End your silly stereotyping cos your country isn't all that great.

PS I'll like to know the website of your Austrian organization that feeds poor people in Kenya and the names of the two African kids you're raising.

nora544: I know about the war it is not new.

Doctors without border start their organisation when they help people there.

In my country no pastor or priest has a jet and private security and it is not mandatory that a so called MOg must tell his brainwashed followers that the new church must be finished.

Two private jets can build one good laboratory where good scientist can work.

When people in nigeria start to see what is more important to give money for science or give money to fake pastors than nigeria will become a better place.

When you get a president who will say corruption is stealing and put all in jail for this
You must be obsessed with pastors. I checked out your posts and topics and it turned out almost all of them are about criticism against Nigerian pastors. I see you're an atheist trying to get some comfort by taking swipes at pastors.

nora544: The company didnot have start the production , what they start was the production for the first test on human and after this test they can start to make more.

Nigerians didnot understand that sciense need money and we in the western world give also private donation to Universities.

Nigerians make also donations but to the wrong people to the MOG but this will not help to build a new laboratory.

We have at the moment the donation for kids with cancer and butterfly child (that are kids who have a skin like a butterfly and that is a special gen defect this kids have and to live with this is very painful) did you have something like that in Nigeria.

UK have the cancer research and they get also donations from normal people, that they have the money that they can build new laboratories.
We have research centres in Nigeria. But they are not many and funding is little because diseases like cancer and birth defects are not really a major problem in Nigeria. We are still 54 years old, suffered a lot of setbacks during the military regime and currently racing to catch up with countries that got developed decades ago.
We will still get there —having topnotch research centers, but first we have to fix power supply, solve unemployment issues and boost our standard of living.
HealthRe: Liberia Gives Available Doses Of Zmapp Three African Doctors by Frankenstein: 6:49pm On Aug 17, 2014
Liberia only got 3 samples of the experimental Zmapp which shows that the company produced just a limited amount of it. Also information from the company indicates that it will take months before more batches of the drugs are produced.

This clears the misconception that most Nigerians are having about Mapp pharmaceuticals hoarding the Ebola drugs. They don't have any Zmapp left because they've given the available ones to the people they feel need them most.
HealthRe: Liberia Gives Available Doses Of Zmapp Three African Doctors by Frankenstein: 6:39pm On Aug 17, 2014

But why can't Africans experiment the imported zmapp to develop their own huh
It takes years to manufacture drugs and without the formulation from Mapp pharmaceuticals, experimenting on an already manufactured drugs is useless.

possibly she caught the infection from her husband,
according to The Nation.

According to the Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu,
the newly wedded nurse was among the people that had
direct contact to the importer of the virus into Nigeria, the
late Liberian man, Patrick Sawyer.

It has been 22 days after the first case of the Ebola Virus

He revealed that nine have so far developed EVD, thus
bringing the total number of cases in Nigeria to ten — two
of these two have died — that is the Liberian and the

Many countries in Europe and Asia can't manufacture drugs too. It takes billions of dollars to develop drugs and vaccines. Nigeria is just 54, and pharmaceutical companies spend well over 15 years to develop one single drug, now do the math.

We're a third world country. We shouldn't be thinking of developing antiviral drugs at this stage. Let's upgrade our dilapidated facilities first.

We have also hospitals from the catholic church and it is one of the best in vienna

The Hospital of St. John of God was founded in 1614. We now use the most modern treatment methods, such as robot-assisted surgery. We have nine specialised departments with wards attached and two institutes that ensure excellent diagnosis, medical treatment and care. With its 400 beds this major medical centre of the Barmherzigen Brüder is an important pillar of the healthcare system. Every year 850 members of staff look after about 32.000 inpatients and carry out approximately 130,000 ambulatory treatments. They have the biggest kindey carcenter in Europa at the moment.
