sleekysoft:Wonderful, I always tell you whenever we speak on phone that your testimony is not far from you. Congratulations Sleekysoft. I am happy to be part of your TRV success story. |
nua07:If I get you right, you used paper route and you submitted your application alongside with your original passport and now need your passport to travel to another country? The sporting chance of retrieving your passport is by withdrawing your application. You can email the Nairobi and Lagos visa offices through the shortlisted email addresses requesting for a withdrawal of your application. If a decision hasn't been made on your application, your request will marked as priority and will be processed within a couple of (1-2) weeks. On the contrary that a decision has already been made, you have no option but to wait until the processing office finalises and a decision communicated to you. lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca Best of luck! |
Achz:@Justwise,. Post of this kind isn't expected to be seen here. Please could place this fellow where he's supposed to be. Thanks! |
OOAAD:You aren't getting it right. Follow this step-by-step procedure to link application online |
Sakaz:Why PGD instead of Master's or Phd to show academic progression? Your chances of getting a TRV is slim, although not impossible. Hence, the onus is dependent upon you the principal applicant to convince the visa officer beyond reasonable doubt that you're truly a bona-fide applicant who has already secured an MBA and now decided to travel all the way from Nigeria to Canada to study a degree (PGD) that is lower than your already completed degree (MBA). For these straight forward reasons that might lead to a refusal, i would suggest you opt for Express Entry, Phd or second Master's degree. |
Raymondrain:Sure you can do that so long as the information you demonstrated/put forward in your LOE won't coincide with the SOP. Have you ordered for your GCMS note and gone through the detailed refusal reasons highlighted by the visa officer? Kindly share your GCMS note, if you've one. |
Aallizzwellwole:Okay fine! |
Tlontin:LOE and SOP are the same thing. Most prospective applicants use LOE to address the concerns that was raised by the visa officer which led to a refusal in their previous application. Whilst, the SOP detailing about their study intent, home ties, career goals and plans etc.. Is this your first application?, an SOP will be okay. |
makano:I have responded to your request, please kindly check your email. |
henricson:I am only trying to give back that which I have learnt for the past years in order to make an impact and a difference in the lives of others. By the way, how are you doing and hope you're adapting to the stringent Canadian system of education? Stay safe Bro! |
AAO7:I'm glad you find the little piece of information useful. All the best |
AAO7:I will prefer using a table of contents in fixing the above financial expenses into proper documentation. It makes the work neat and very easy for the reader to comprehend. On the other hand, you can as well list out the financial provisions that you have attached with your application. For instance: My personal savings bank statement at MICRO FINANCE BANK of Nigeria with closing balance of ₦289,635.20 which is equivalent to CAD$ 1,032.68. Etc.... Go on and on to list out all the financial support you have. The entire cost of my studies at the Queen's University Ontario, Canada: Tuition - 15000CAD Room and Board-10000CAD (Others)-2000CAD miscellaneous - 3,000CAD Total funds available for my stay: ?CAD I hope you understand? Feel free to ask questions anytime. |
AAO7:That would be great and sufficient. I will advice you explain extensively in your LOE how the presented funds with your application will be spent during your first year of study in Canada and the possibility of funding for future years. By so doing, you will be able to tackle funds availability and accessibility by the applicant that might be raised by the visa officer. |
AAO7:I won't be able to give a promise I wouldn't fulfil. At this point, I am occupied with lots of works. I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this might cause you. There are other trusted and knowledgeable guys here who can assist you in revamping the LOE. |
AAO7:An applicant I know for some time past on this reputable thread did use a loan from prodigy finance and his application was approved. I can also remember brilliantly that he included his personal savings account to evidence his personal financial establishment. |
Mijac:From the wisdom of my experiences, the correlation of both programs doesn't matter. What matters most is having an admission letter in any of the Canada's DLI. |
beejayphako:I'll revert back to you. Thanks for your patience. |
Mijac:Yes! It's very possible for you to change a DLI to another prior to traveling to Canada provided that you've secured an admission letter for the proposed DLI you're transferring to. At the point of entry, you are ought to present the new acceptance letter to the immigration officer before a study permit and SIN will be issued to you. Follow these steps to change your school: 1. Sign in to your account. 2. Click Transfer from DLI number under the section Designated Learning Institution Student Transfer. 3. Enter your study permit application number and click Search for my application. 4. Enter more details about your original study permit application, if required. This information will help us identify your application. 5. Enter your new DLI number, your new Student ID number, and your start date at your new school. Click Submit transfer. 6. Review the details of your transfer. If all the information is correct, click Confirm Transfer 7. Read the confirmation that your request is complete. This confirms that you’ve notified us that you’ve changed post-secondary schools. Click Go to main account page to return to your account. You are good to go and can now sign out. ![]() I hope this answers your question. Best of luck |
princekins:We have recorded a great deal of applicants who used their relatives abroad and their applications were successful. Hence, you shouldn't get worked up over it so long as you've sufficient ties to your home country that can compel your return back home after studies. Significant ties can include close family members who live in your home country that are not accompanying you, aged parents who are depending on you for support and care, current employment as well as good prospects for future employment in your country, your spouse and kids, ownership of an active business, and ownership of property or other assets in your home country. Lastly, provide documents to demonstrate strong proof of relationship between you and your cousin (birth certificates, family tree, intl passport bio data page etc..) |
princekins:Hi princekins, You can exclude the WAEC result in view of the fact that its not a compulsory requirement for a Master's applicant. Many successful applicants have gotten their TRV without including one. |
042viber12:Not far from now. You will smile soon. Congratulations in advance. |
makano:Thanks, I wish you success in all your endeavours. |
beejayphako:Hi beejayphako, How may I be of help to you Sir. |
Austacus:You too much. I sight your proactive hand works on this thread. Well done! Ps: Makano, and 042viber12, I salute you guys. |

Austacus, nice one Bro! |
prinzeindygo:Refer to the page 1 of this thread, you will find a sample there. More importantly, try to avoid plagiarism! |
ralfudoh:Temporary Resident Visa turned to a Permanent Resident application... Don't lose hope okay. It will end in praises. |
Trizadove:No, it's not an issue. As I rightly said before, attach a newspaper change of name in your application and marriage certificate. You should be fine with these documents and a brief explanation in your SOP will perform magic in addressing the change of name. I advice you based on the experience I have enjoyed in this process. |
Justwise my honourable boss!. I hail you from my end. Thanks for your persistent attention and surveillance in enabling the functionality of this reputable thread. Bravo to you and a Happy New Year to you. |
KlausMike:She will have to sign the consent form in the appropriate space provided. With this, you can be granted permission to order the note on her behalf. Thus, you've to get your wife to sign the form and resend it back to you. Alternatively, you can attach a scanned/electronic copy of her signature in the required space. Sorry about the refusal. |
Trizadove:It won't cause a threat. All you've to do is to include a newspaper change of name and marriage certificate to show you both are legally married. Do you have kids?, you can also attach their birth certificates. Additionally, put up a brief explanation concerning the subject matter when drafting your SOP. |
