lextube: Hello, please can anyone guide me on how to apply for a GCMS? Thank you. The process is pretty straightforward and doesn't need much guidance. Do yourself good by checking out reputable GCMS websites outside this thread and complete order. On the account that you've someone in Canada you can use this link : ORDER GCMSWe hope to see your note as soon as it arrives. It shall end in praises in your next application. |

Qtip: Hi everyone!!! I’m a June applicant and I have been on eligibility review for many months, no updates and no replies. What do you think about suing the Consulate in Nigeria? Have you tried ordering your gcms note to know what could be keeping the application all this while? If yes. You've no option but to keep on sending mails, praying and believing for a positive response from IRCC within the shortest timeframe. |

johnsonsegxy: Hello fam in the house!
Please is it when they ask me for my medical test is when i am gonna do it or i should do it down now cos i am submitting my application this Friday.
Thanks johnsonsegxy, Any of the above method is acceptable. Undergoing a medical exam prior to application is referred to as an "Upfront Medicals". IRCC made us to believe that it speeds up an application. Whilst, when you're being called for it, it's a positive sign of securing your TRV. Although not in all cases, as I recently found out that some applicants were refused of their visas after been instructed to go for a medical test. Thus, the ball is in your court to decide the path that suits you best. Best of luck in your application. |

kerry101: Hello, Please can I apply for a PGD with a third class degree and will it accept my chances of getting a visa if admitted?
Thanks. I am sorry, but third class is poor and can't fit in for a PGD. The minimum admission requirement for Canadian institutions for a PGD program is 2.2. You're better off applying for a second degree and present a justifiable letter that will portray your seriousness to study and a genuine applicant who will perform superbly in a country like Canada where education is so demanding and based on intensive practical study, and research. What makes you feel you can do better in Canada rather than Nigeria must be convincing and well substantiated. |

kpizzle: I will be in my bank by noon. I hope i can get the SOA with ticket ID and passcode or else I will have to explain to them maybe with a LOE or something Sure! The bank will have an idea on what they seek. Make sure you pay visit to the bank head office in the state where you reside and not a branch office. Keep the house updated on how it went. I wish you the very best! |

kpizzle: Hi All,
I got request for a new SOA yesterday. I have attached the request to this post. I need help on the format they are asking for. I have tried researching but i can't find anything online yet.
how can i get a SOA with a copy of "my bank statement ticket" containing a ticket ID and passcode? Contact your account manager/bank, they will be in the best position to provide you a bank statement ticket, containing a ticket ID and passcode. The visa officer might have noticed inconsistent balances and inflow into the account statements you provided. Hence, the request for a statement for the last one year. Do this immediately! It's a positive sign that your application is close for a decision to be made. |

Omoarukheo: Application is eight weeks old and processing time was 12 weeks when I applied. Is the gcms necessary at this point or just the mail will work? A CSE will solve the issue on ground. You don't have to order your GCMS note since your application is within the processing times as at the time you applied for your visa. I am pretty sure you will hear from them soon. All the best my good friend! |

123abcclown: Hello house,
I got Passport Request last Tuesday and submitted my passport to the VFS office in Lagos on Thursday.
I applied online and had my biometrics in Abuja but submitted passport to Lagos (this attracted a fee of about N14,380).
My question is this, how long does it take for passport to be ready for collection after submission? And does it take longer due to passport transmission? After passport submission it takes a minimum of 7-8 working days to be ready for collection at the VFS. You can track it through the VFS website by using the local tracking number. Although, we have seen several cases of applicants here who complained that they submitted their passport for the past 2 months now and hasn't received it back since then. No worries, yours will be attended to, stamped and transmitted swiftly. |

Nuel182: My college resumes September 2019 Would it be possible to apply now and leave probably April? Yes you can apply for your visa once you've a successfully secured an admission into any of the Canada's DLI. Travelling by April is too early, I would advise you travel towards July/August in order to acclimatise with the environment. |

CynthiaA5: Hello. Please when I'm submitting my application at the VAC, do I have to walk in or book an appointment? I have done biometrics in the past, do I have to take another one. Please how much is visa fee too? You can submit your paper application at the VAC without booking an appointment upfront. Also, You don't need to submit your fingerprints again till a decade time. You will be charged 61k plus at the VFS which excludes the biometrics fee. |

gg4real: Hi, Has anyone experience this before? My lil brother who is 16yrs and has admission for undergraduate at UPEI has applied for study permit with my mum who is accompanying him purposely to see that he's well settled. This morning we got a message from CIC and we login only to discovered that his application has been updated and his medical review states 'we are reviewing your medical results' whereas he hasn't done any medical test before. Could this be a mistake? Both his and mum's applications eligibility review has commenced. It's a positive sign! Congratulations to your little brother. He will be called for medicals soon. |

makano: I do not think its cos they are efficient and faster, its not 22 weeks this year cos many people are applying to other countries that do not have wahala like Canada. Cos i cant imagine an efficient and Faster system holding up to an application for over 4 months, is that one efficient? If you go through other countries thread, u will see that 80% of peeps getting Visas there are the ones that were refused by Canada. So Canadians are not efficient one bit, there is lesser processing time than last year beacause peeps are frustrated by their delays and refusals, making them port to other efficient and Visa friendly Countries. Canada Efficient ma foot. Peace You're correct makano, and I have no objection against this. Let's pray and hope we will be favoured by the God of the supreme being! |
