Osibajo2023:
hope it is not in Lagos, Lagos election will be tough, if you are caught voting for another part, aside Asiwaju, be ready to face the consequences. I warn you
There were far greater threats in 2015, even the Oba of Lagos threatened to drown the Igbos in the lagoon should they vote against Tinubu's choice. cheesy grin Go and look at the result and see how the Igbos respond to threats. They voted overwhelmingly for Jimi Agbeje and dared the consequences. Ambode won the Gubernatorial election by a mere 90,000 votes. Alimosho saved his ass.

You don't seem to understand the Igbos much. Don't worry, you'll learn.

Go and collect your PVC. INEC does not count Nairaland Likes and Shares.

Retiring PDAPC is a task all Nigerian youths must partake in.

Vote Peter Obi for a better Nigeria.

If you are still supporting APC or PDP presidency, mehn! You are the real problem of Nigeria.

Peter Obi for President of Nigeria.

Thank you.

PoliticsRe: The Killing of Female Lawyer By Police,a Justification of 2020 Endsars Protest by Freethinker87:
This same Ajiwe Police Station was burnt down in the aftermath of EndSARS, yet the police officers there didn't learn any lessons. Instead, the Govt made EndSARS protesters look like the aggressors while shielding the police officers. In hindsight, if the Govt hadn't rebuilt this police station, Mrs Bolanle Raheem would still be alive.

Gov. Sanwo-Olu is responsible for this incident. Let's vote the incompetent Governor out and elect someone who has a head on his shoulder.

CelebritiesRe: Adeyinka Alaseyori "Gbe Body" With Governor Sanwoolu At End Of Year Concert by Freethinker87:
When will the newly commissioned rail begin operation? Is it before or after the elections?

If it's after the elections then why the hurry to commission an uncompleted project? We're not deceived by pink-hued photos, we Lagosians have eyes and we can see that the project is incomplete from the National theatre down to Mile 2.

You'll gbe body e out of Alausa in 2023.

How far now? Have you done that?
Our videographer hasn't uploaded the full clip yet. Be patient! In fact, I'm going to create a new thread with transcript of the Q&A session where PO answered this question succinctly before asking a professor in the audience to make an input.

I'll be tagging you and other irredeemable agbadorians soon.
PoliticsRe: Like Tinubu, Peter Obi Delegates Question To His Campaign Team Member(Video) by Freethinker87:
Agbadorians have started with their cut-and-join video propaganda again.

What actually happened was that PO interacted with students about the importance of education and how his administration will solve the challenges in education. During the Q&A session, a young man asked PO about his plans to change the narrative that education is a scam among young people.

Obi answered that particular question by saying that education is the biggest investment any nation could give its citizens and that education is not a scam. PO also gave Prof Pat Utomi a chance to comment on the question as a Professor.

Agbadorian cut PO's answers out and somehow this edited clip found its way to the front page. I'll be posting the unedited clip shortly. The days of cut-and-Join propaganda are over, we are not in 2014 anymore.

TravelRe: Governor Sanwo-Olu Takes A Ride On A Blue Line Train (Photos And Videos) by Freethinker87: 4:42pm On Dec 21, 2022
They still haven't told us when train operations will begin on the terminals. They said PMB will flag it off in January, but we know that February is the election, so I'm guessing operations will commence after the elections. cheesy cheesy

Sanwo-Olu you're deceiving yourself. This project has not been completed, you're trying to sell us a smokescreen and we're not buying it. You can't separate APC and deceit.

Obi will do far more than this, meanwhile sanwo olu tried but the incoming president peter Obi will do far better than this.

God bless our incoming president peter Babatunde Hassan Oluwadare Ahmed Osamudiamen Obi GCOFR president of Nigeria 2023-2031
Sanwo-Olu has nothing to do with this development. This project has been in the making for over 16 years, costing taxpayers the sum of $1.4 B, and has been used by successive Govt to hoodwink the voters during elections. I am suspecting this is another of their strategic photo op that celebrates an uncompleted project only to return to its moribund state after the election.

Until Lagosians start using this train, {In Wike's voice} It's FAKE, Owu FAKE.
PoliticsRe: Inside the interior of the Lagos Blue Line Rail & completion Phase 1 (Video) by Freethinker87:
We have seen enough photos already. When are we going to start using it? If these photo ops are geared towards deceiving Lagosians to vote for Sanwo-Olu again, they're highly mistaken.

Lagosians have been expecting the completion of this project for over 16 years, and yet every election circle they say it's completed. Let's start using the trains before we believe APC.

No near me o. I no get strength to argue. E be like say kor kor don teach you.
I don't think they enjoy any benefit intrinsically, they just like to brag about their toughness forgetting that others may not be as tough as they are. It's a Nigerian thing to celebrate hardship and compare whose sufferings were near fatal.
BusinessRe: Tax Clearance Certificate Required For Foreign Exchange Transactions In Banks by Freethinker87: 4:47pm On Dec 20, 2022
Good policy but politically motivated. This is going to affect TechBros whose taxes are deducted at source. This will amount to double taxation if they have to show tax clearance to withdraw.

Mehn, living in Nigeria should be classified as an extreme sport.

AgricultureRe: The Plight Of Ginger Farmers In Southern Kaduna by Freethinker87:
Mrsoft3:
The solution to your problem is simple. Let all ginger farmers in southern kaduna have one voice and form a union, dictate price for all and ensure everybody abide by it, proposed a central market this will give you people the power to control price but then again you people in southern kaduna are your own enemies.
You can't do that in a free market. I have a better idea but it requires a little additional effort. How about this farmer register on B2B platforms and market his gingers directly to international buyers? That way, he cuts off the middlemen and keep all the profit, but it will require him to meet some export regulatory standards which is what the middlemen do before exporting the gingers.

The truth is that most farmers won't concern themselves with the processing and packing part of farming. They just want to harvest and sell.
TravelRe: LASG Announces Completion Of First Phase Of Lagos Light Rail (Marina To Mile 2) by Freethinker87: 9:46am On Dec 20, 2022
$1.4B spent to complete 15km light rail. That's $93.33m per km, the most expensive light rail in the world.

The level of theft in Lagos will shock the world when a new party takes over in 2023.

Mindlog:
I left Nigeria when Jonathan was still President, so calm your temper no be me foist APC on you cheesy

Living in the UK is not punishment because I studied, live and work here in Cambridge.

A Nigerian abroad who feels he/she is not resilient enough to deal with the reality of the host country has an option of going back to Nigeria, if it represents less suffering.

Of all the foreign countries I have lived in, I have never for once wailed about the "sufferings " there, na me apply for visa and paid for ticket as I wasn't kidnapped from Nigeria and woke up there.
I expect someone who lives abroad and has faced harsh weather conditions to at least sympathize with new entrants. You come off as arrogant and insensitive, which is not a good look for someone who has been opportune to get a UK education. I also studied in the UK, but I understand that going to the UK as a teenager for studies and Japa-ing as an adult is a different kettle of fish.

As a teenager on a diverse campus, one can easily mingle and make friends at SA events, clubs and society, and from other social interactions on campus. However, leaving everything behind in Nigeria as an adult; friends, family, associates and hobbies, to start life afresh in an unknown place is deeply depressing and lonely.

You in particular should know that the extreme weather up North is not something Nigerians are used to. So when they cry out, you're supposed to show some empathy and not ask them to "return to Nigeria if they don't like it there". That's unbecoming of someone who lives in the most educated city in the UK.

It wouldn't lead to her death, if she takes appropriate measures, Nigerians who were born and raised in Nigeria have been living in the UK for decades and surviving the winter over the years.
You're very stupid! It's always the lot of you who have never left your little villages that are the most opinionated when a suffering Nigerian cries out from the diaspora. I doubt you watched the video, you probably don't have data, because if you did you wouldn't be saying "Come back home if you don't like it there" as if living in the UK is some sort of privilege when in actual fact it's a punishment.

You're not even blaming the politicians who made the living situation in the country so unbearable that her citizens now consider living in a sub-zero degree as an alternative.

If I check, you're another agbadorian preparing to vote for another disaster, just so that you can marinate yourself in the suffering you love so much, cos you don't know any other way to live.
PoliticsRe: It Will Take Northern Nigeria 40 Years To Catch Up With The South by Freethinker87:
Sometimes I wonder what's developed in the south. The south does not have pipe-borne water, standard health care facilities or functional local councils. There's no difference between the North and South. We're all suffering the effect of corruption and mismanagement of PDAPC.

Well, unless you're into extreme sports and you like dick-measuring contests, I don't see the need to compare whose shit hole is better. Let's come together and vote them out. Vote for Peter Obi and Labour Party.

I don't blame him Sha. He had to change his stance on free speech after he bought a company valued at $13B for $44B.
Which is a good deal by the way. Standard M&A valuation is 4x, some platforms have sold for up to 8x even. Elon bought Twitter at a huge discount.

The truth is lagos can better under LP or PDP. Lagos is not a Tinubu dynasty....
Your friend is right but remove PDP from your option cos PDP and APC are one and the same.
PoliticsRe: Obi Beats Tinubu, Atiku In New Physical Poll Ahead Of 2023 Election by Freethinker87:
Peter Obi winning the Presidential poll is not in doubt. I'm more concerned about Lagos State gubernatorial election. Tinubu's boy-boy Sanwo-Olu cannot continue as Governor after what happened at #EndSARS, plus the menacing agberos.

We need a change in Lagos. We cannot continue waking up by 4 am only to get to work by 8 am. We cannot continue pretending like these things are normal. We must put an end to the chaos and bring back some sanity.

Vote Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for Governor of Lagos State, Vote for Labour Party.

Gbadegbo vivour Rhodes of Labour Party is my choice.
Seems like this thread was posted on PDP's WhatsApp group, cos WTF! Who in his right mind will vote for PDP, a subsidiary of APC? A party so corrupt, their alt slogan is "Share the money".

Gbadebo is a true Lagosian, a visionary who can articulate his vision. Someone who is not afraid of granting interviews and answering tough questions. Unlike the PDP clown, Jandor.

To render PDAPC obsolete is a task that must be done. Vote Labour Party!
