Think about it, why will I need POS when I can simply perform my transactions through NFC with my phone? The technology is simple and easily deployable. Soon SMEs, Iya-buka, and the mallam at the street corner will have NFC or QR-payment.

The biggest gainers of this policy are FinTech companies. They'll leverage this policy and develop QR payment gateways for SMEs. Opay already developed theirs.
