We have heard you. However, we will not stop being that nuisance in the face of injustice and oppression. We keep meuving... Concernyoubaba: |
They are scared of their jobs, they don't want to recruit those they feel will take their place and force them to retire. That's why it's convenient for them to recruit trainees. Meanwhile, most of them have only few years to go. I won't be surprised if they recruit again next year or even decide to recruit ONDs.. ![]() |
This probably explains why some people complained that they saw another name after uploading their documents/details |
You are doing well, Thanks |
We are in 2021 for a 2019 recruitment. I believe that once they fail to get back to us soon, those positions earlier advertised would have become stale and the recruitment useless. Imagine we interviewed for a 9yr, or 6yr position which is now automatically 11yrs n 8yrs job experience for the same job position for those still working. Na wao, COVID or not, this is really bad for these guys to keep us in the dark, as if we went through the process just for show. |
Fremanb4:the verbal section was really helpful in the score |
heed101:just picked randomly o |
Fremanb4:EH |
Wow, this exam really tough o..still greatful though..Scored 60% |
You are obviously seeking attention, for you to post this. NNPC is a public company, you must know that you can't control the information that is already in the public space. So I'd advise you to continually stay unnoticed as you were. We don't need your ethical input here. Greatersttar: |
Thanks for the update. Is there still hope for the EH? seems they always make conscious effort to avoid questions around the EH recruitment. All we want is for them to conclude the process so we can move on. |
Oil prices are in an upward trajectory given the availability of vaccines and reduction in lockdowns in counties. If the list is ready as envisaged by many here, I don't expect notification to exceed this year. |
@Ezalb you have been very generous with your information on the recruitment. I thank you for that, unlike most. Anyway, I pray you get the APL as well. Thanks again. |
Time will reveal if info is genuine. Let's watch out from 27/11/20 Tekoa: |
Same person requested for info from NNPC is preventing those with the info from sharing to the benefit of others. Mtchew! DarkShades: |
By WE, you meant YOU? @Vyke2008 |
Seems they add 1 for EH score because its over 101 not 100 God1stson: |
Thanks, this advice was quite helpful. Scored 69 eventually. EH khaleesi: |
I hope you guys know what you are downloading? If truly the questions are genuine, some people would have commented that. Be careful of internet fraudsters! |
If only we had more authentic sources. Most of the few here have gone cold on info. @Nilnil thanks for the info. |
There isn't enough information from NNPC for this conclusion to be made. Yet NNPC does not pay as high as other IOCs and even other MDAs in the oil n gas sector i.e DPR PPPRA etc. How can they divide total emoluments by number of staff as if they earn the same salary. How about pensioners?. The increase in minimum wage could also contribute to the increase in salaries. In every organisation, Salaries and compensation is usually the highest of its expenditure. Human capital is always the most important Asset in a company. |
smartzee01:Great |
Tkbaba..tnx. on a lighter note, are the GTs still at home and earning salaries? Or have they been deployed to resume? |
Yes, you are right. Also heard it was concluded last week Psyco119: |
Yes you are right, it may even be great news as all company's assets include it's personnel. Hence, the likelihood to conclude the recruitment process and transformation before the conversion to a limited liability company that is positioned to be more profitable yungmin: |
Thanks @Ezalb |
HOME BUSINESS POLITICS NIGERIA EDUCATION EDITORIAL BACKPAGE Home - THISDAYLIVE logo 2' NNPC Recommits to 35% Women Inclusion in Workforce editorSeptember 21, 2020 6:36 Pm By Emmanuel Addeh The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has reaffirmed its commitment to the pursuit of a 35 per cent women inclusion in the national company’s workforce. A press release by the corporation’s spokesman, Dr. Kennie Obateru, Monday noted that the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mallam Mele Kyari, spoke when the executive chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Dr. Muheeba Dankaka, visited him in Abuja. Kyari stated that the national oil company, as a responsible corporate entity, has always provided a level playing field for all, thereby granting equal employment opportunity to Nigerians from all classes and backgrounds. “On the issues around inclusion of the physically challenged, as a matter of fact, today in our employment, we have people in wheel chairs, the blind and other physically challenged. “We are one of the institutions of government with the highest number of women in management,” the GMD stated. Kyari said that contrary to “false claims” in some quarters, each geopolitical zone of the country is represented at the top management of NNPC, stressing that there is fair play in the corporation’s appointments. He said NNPC would continue to work towards achieving the government’s 35 per cent affirmative action of women in public service. He said NNPC would continue to comply with the rules and regulations of the commission on recruitment. The statement noted that the FCC leadership applauded the corporation for ensuring a high level of gender balance in management positions in the corporation. The Chairman of the commission, Dankaka, congratulated the corporation on the recent flag-off of the Ajaokuta-Kano-Kaduna (AKK) gas pipeline project. She said that her commission’s mandate extends to equitable distribution of social and infrastructural amenities, stressing that the AKK project was one that could boost the nation’s economy and wellbeing of Nigerians. The statement also quoted the FCC boss as stating that the recent recruitment by NNPC was transparent and ensured equal opportunity for all Nigerians, adding that the corporation fully complied with FCC guidelines in the exercise. |
I really don't know why the cancellation rumours is peddled. If GMD said NNPC will get back to us after they're done with the ongoing skills gap needs, why don't we chill and watch what happens next and if the GTs resume as well, we can then begin to go down the cancellation rumours if nothing happens. For me, until it's official, it's all but rumours for now. |
We appreciate that comments are backed with reasons or from confirmed sources than just making statements from own thoughts. |
