It can be tiring, even after writing twice I was also get frustrated but it didn't deter me from keep my eye on the price (in this case my daughter and hopefully the siblings to join her). You have to think about what value this would bring to you and your family. 75k no be beans but in the end its worth more than the setback. Overall, I think it is best you re-strategise, spend the whole of December to understand what you are doing wrong in the writing module and retake it in January. I keep telling people that ieltsadvantage works wonders so maybe you can give it a try. All the best NameUserNo: I am tired!
I put so much efforts, sacrificed my welfare and I really don't know if i can push on anymore.
It seems this doesn't work for everybody. Best of luck to everyone on this thread. It shall end in praise for you all. |

I wouldn't say it is completely untrue because even the tutors (chris Pell and Liz) always emphasize on the fact that if you cannot adequately address the partial agree or disagree then just stick to one side to save yourself any trouble. While you may be good with identifying the perfect response in the said situation, other may not be that coherent. That been said, you guys are both right Jasmine17: @Bolded. Completely untrue and just your assumption. I partially agreed and even derailed in the course of my essay (check my previous posts after my exam), but i scored 7 at first attempt. Most sites will tell you that tackling both sides of the question shows you are knowledgeable about the topic, gives you more points, and vocabulary. More over, partial agreement is a valid opinion just like agree or disagree. |

At the bold. maybe but I spent about 8 minutes and still finished on time to review the essay. Jasmine17: Go to ieltsadvantage, liz, etc.
It is not the relevance of your ideas that matter. You dont have all the time in the world and it is not a competition of best ideas. If you use 10mins in thinking of relevant ideas, i doubt if you would have time to finish the essay. Moreover, task response is a 9 out of a possible 36 points. If you get 6 in task response, and get 7-8 in others, you will score above 7.
Provided your idea relates to the topic and you can fashion it well to be relevant in presentation, cohesion, coherence, vocab and lexicon, you are good.
Above all, pray and believe in God. |

You couldn't have said it any better muvey10: Sometimes I wonder why people have issues with writing.Writing was the simplest to me..first attempt 8.0 while listening was the hardest, because if you don't hear, there is absolutely nothing you can do..
It is not about what you think, look for the best approach to write a good essay, and one of the easiest way is to fully agree or fully disagree, when you partially agree it is extreemly difficult to state your point. When writing examples many people use personal examples because the question said from your experience.we need to be smart about things if you want to pass ielts.. use a research or study you read, it is simple and easy to validate your points.when you use personal examples you mess up the whole essay The few I can think of |

I don't think there is such a thing as remark centre. Fill the form, pay for the remark and wait for them to get a response from their partners abroad who do the exercise. All the best. Richness1104: My remark center will be BC Abuja . Are there success stories there. Anyone with testimonies of successful remark there? |

Barryston: Can someone gate crash without an appointment?I'm coming from Uyo...family of 3?although I've been calling them to book an appointment but they are not picking up |

I believe one of the draws before the end of the year would give either of these scores ottawasenators: predicting CRS score of 438-439 today so that our comrades within that score range who have been in pool since about First quarter of this year can also smile |

Topsmamen: Hi guys. Part 6 already....nice! It seems the first 3-4 pages of every newly opened EE thread are full of PPR self-prophecies. I should join the bandwagon.
So here goes. Before we get to:
Page 100, my ITA. Page 400, my PPR. Page 450, my COPR. Part 7, smooth landing+great job+great city+meet some NL folks Part 8, fine home+great wife+lovely kids.
Amen! Amen bros. On a lighter note, judging by recent happening, the bold would happen in 6-7 months Well God works in mysterious ways |

exactly my thoughts Tojued: documentation from third party sounds more like contract letters to me than (recommendation) letters. I think those letters should only be used when there are no existing contract documentation. |

bro I still await your response to my mail bigfido: Hi, you don't need to get letters from your clients. I am sure what they need from you are contracts, invoices/ receipt of payments, your business account showing transactions and your income tax. You can take screenshots of email correspondence between you and your clients as well. I have put a screenshot of my gcms note after I got ppr so you can know what exactly they are looking for. See you in Canada. |

Works wonders Soniayande: Guys, my joy is overfull. Finally, I'm free from the shackles of IELTS! My first attempt came as L7,R7,W6.5, S7. I was so sad, but I braced up and retook the test. My current result is: L8, R7.5, W7, S7.5. CRS score is 450!! Thanks for your help. This platform is da bomb!! I got the link to ieltsadvantage.com from here, which I used for my writing, and I used Liz's blog for others. I also used ieltsonlinetests.com for reading. Onto the next level guys.... And they said ielts fail people in Nigeria... Baden18: Hi All,
I took the IELTS exam on Oct 27th for the first time and below are my results:
Listening: 9.0 Reading: 9.0 Speaking: 9.0 Writing: 7.5
I spent less than 5 hours in total preparing for this exam and I focused only on speaking & writing as I was told those were the difficult sections.
I only watched YouTube videos and recommend the IELTS videos by Jay for writing & IELTS videos by Liz for speaking.
Also for writing make sure to use FANBOYS (For/As/Nor/But/Or/Yet/So) in addition to the complex words Jay will give you.
Good Luck!!! |
