Well, the letter stated they could reapply once they meet requirements as the refusal was based on not meeting up with the lowest ranked person during the draw after the 15points were docked.

They also refunded their rprf and said they'd hold on to their docs and data for 2 years but they'd have to submit new documents (updated) when reapplying
joo2018:
Great contribution.

I hope it is just refusal without ban.

Hello house and congrats to everyone who's scaled one hurdle or the other (ifeoma big congrats)

Just want to share a story... Please let's all endeavor to follow the rules laid out by cic. My childhood friend who convinced me on this journey just got refused.

He claimed points from a sibling who's temporarily out of Canada. When they got ita, I told them I'd read both here and on cic website that the family member must be residing in Canada as at the time of filing the application but his wife said she was on some group and was told it's not a biggie. As at the time-last August, I hadn't even passed ielts so my opinion wasn't good enough so I kept quiet.

They submitted in sept got 3adrs in November, December and February all pointing to the same thing--additional proof of sibling in Canada, in particular, the officer requested for utility bills because that was the only thing missing which could convince the vo the sibling was resident in Canada.

After over 6months, the dude decided to refuse them so they are back to the board.

Please don't let one group admin or padi who's not related to the members of the governing council/board of trustees of cic tell you what is not...

There are requirements, please follow them.

Back to hibernation. Cheers

Guys, it’s PEE PEE AAAAARRRRRR.

WORK EXPERIENCE I am self-employed, I repair computers, printers etc and 2 days ago, I repaired my LCD TV( I think im handy). I submitted reference letters from 6 customers and 8 receipts. I couldn’t even get receipts for some of those who wrote reference letters for me, I was worried here, yet I didn’t want to manipulate things. Many of the reference letters were handwritten with customers phone numbers and email addresses, of course, they stated I was paid in cash. I don’t think IRCC called any of them though.
I had to monitor one of my references email, in case something important comes in.
No travel history.

As per bold section...should one just fill schedule A for spouse and submit via CSE
joo2018:
Some more musings.

Lets look at the effort involved in processing an application:
For a PA: full processing including R10, eligibility analysis of MEC, A11.2, settlement funds and ability to be financially established in Canada and also admissibility assessments of medical status, criminality, security and misrepresentation.
For a spouse: partial processing including R10, eligibility (only if the spouse contributes points or a bulk of the settlement funds) and the full admissibility assessment.
For a child dependant: minimal processing of only R10 and medical status admissibility.

For a single PA, the effort is 1 unit and the return is 1 permanent resident. The efficiency is then 1.
For a family of 2 (PA and spouse), the effort is 2 units and the return is 2 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 1.
For a family of 3 (PA, spouse and 1 child), the effort is 2 units and the return is 3 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 3/2 = 1.5.
For a family of 4 (PA, spouse and 2 children), the effort is 2 units and the return is 4 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 4/2 = 2.
For a family of 5 (PA, spouse and 3 children), the effort is 2 units and the return is 5 permanent residents. The efficiency is then 5/2 = 2.5.

So from a logistic point of view, it makes sense for such a target driven organization to prioritize applications that will bring the best returns.

I would be following up with you on this because we have the same line of work. All the best

Thanks so very much @salford. I really appreciate your response. God bless you. I will make my mind open and make a decision on this. I can as well function well on other areas like manufacturing and any other field also, at least to pay my bills and also build a career in Canada. If Construction seems to be tough to get, I will try explore other areas as available also.
God bless you my Oga

So is the purpose of opening this profile for showing how long the profile has been created? Well to each his own, but I do see why I would be creating a profile to keep space
joo2018:
Yes.

When asked the question "Have you gotten an ECA" or something like that, you reply "No"

You can update it to "Yes" and fill in your details after you have the ECA.

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by freshdad: 2:22pm On Jan 17, 2019
No bypassing- just wait till it is ready
bharbhyie:
You actually do need the ECA report number when updating your profile on the EE pool.

I’m not sure if there’s a way you can bypass that though.

Maybe the seniors can weigh in..

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by freshdad: 2:01pm On Jan 17, 2019
And what information would you put in when the question "what is the reference number from the evaluation you did with WES/IQAS/ICES" pops up?

I am sure you dont want to be banned for misrepresentation
coolangel54:
Last question please for today: can I create an EE account while ECA is in progress?

This was exactly what happened to my friend's colleague at the last draw of 2018. Got her ielts result for dec 1 and it was great. it brought her points to 440 and he begged her to update her profile, he even volunteered to help go pick her trf because he had faith the cut off would drop. She hardly believed and the lethargy was so bad she didn't know her profile was showing ineligible.

Long story short, ITA came at 439 and she didn't get the mail and then realised how much she messed up. very serious something o
