Hi guys,

So some time back I partook in an online session with an ieltsadvantage and I made some notes. I also wrote a sample essay which the author Chris Pell commented on and so I'd like to share it with you guys. I met someone when I took wifey for her speaking test and she was writing for the first time. She recently called saying the notes were really helpful and that she got a 7 in writing.

Let me be quick to say I got a 7 as well. Although I am not a good teacher, but I know the note would be helpful. You can click HERE for it.

Someone has gotten another person's PPR mail before, there's absolutely nothing new under the sun lol.

The person can raise CSE or send mail to their Visa Office (or both), pointing out the anomaly. I don't think it's something to be worried about.

Hello guys, need an advice for a friend,

They got ghost updates for 3 days consecutively from Sunday till this morning which is meant to be a good thing.
However, the application number than appears in the 3 mails was not the one that has been since they created the profile, ITA and the ADR they got.

What should they do?

@wasseynewest, some people have failed multiple times in MOD and aced writing in BC
Secondly, both organisations share examiners
Not saying that you don't have a point, but it's a bit more complicated than just writing off BC totally

People fail to realise the bold. While we are hear praising MOD/IDP, some people elsewhere are lamenting how people fail IDP and do better with BC. @wasseynetwest you may be right but it doesn't always mean that getting great grades in other modules mean you have totally understood the requirements of the writing task. As far back as my secondary school days, I was made to understand speaking english and writing english are 2 different things for a lot of people

Kindly clarify if siblings point fall under eligibility review because I have a friend who's sister is a citizen and doesn't reside in Canada, however, they submitted all other documents relating to them i.e. mortgage payments, credit history, COPR, data page etc, They called CIC on friday and they were told eligibility has been passed.

There are quite a number of permutation regarding the bold but I can give two based on my thoughts.

If there would be 2 more draws before the end of the year then one would be in the 440-442 region- This can only be if there is another draw next week and the final draw for the year coming on the 19th(based on previous end of year draws) to accommodate those writing ielts this weekend, and whose results would be released on the 14th.

The other option would be just one draw to happen on the 19th which would only make the cut-off higher.

I sincerely hope its the former for a lot of folks sake including myself because koni funny mehn...

For the sake of our brethren here, I really hope CIC isn't trying to keep the figure high.

A simple calculation shows that as at Friday, 3,466 were already on 441 and above. That should have made a case for Monday draw at 440/441. they now waited till Wednesday.

On the flip side, looks like the high points surge has eased a bit. Was a bit concerned we will be going above 450.

I totally get you. However, my point was more on clearing the idea that its okay to "partially agree" and I was only stressing that if the person doesn't have a good grasp on how to answer it that why, just jejely choose a side.

And yes, ieltsadvantage works wonder. He made writing task 2 look very simple

Sorry to say this bro. I never used liz style in writing and will never advise anyone to use it.

go to ieltsadvantage. Those guys are good and you will score high using their free materials.

There is another one i came across but i cant remember it at the moment.

It is either it comes back higher or remains as is
