Hello house.
Congrats to all ITA clinchers, PPR lockdowns and IELTS grabbers
Every win is a win, so I would like to share one too.
1st Attempt July 28 2018 LRWS-9,6.5,6.5,8.5 MOD 2nd Attempt Aug 18 2018 8.5,7,6.5,7.5 MOD
I felt really down and tired but wifey insisted I go for an EOR, I got more worried at parting away with 46k but she sha rubbed my head and we went ahead since it was supposed to be out with 3-21 days. So I sent them a mail and bcc idp Australia and I got the regular response from those ones.
Fast forward to 21 days and no response so I called MOD and the gave one story of escalating it to their partners and would get back to me before EOB. I did not get a feedback so I decided to send a mail again and copied Australia and I got an instant response from IDP requesting for my test date and candidate's number. I replied and we exchanged a few mails and I was assured that they were on it and that I would get a response soon.
A mail dropped at 2:50 pm this afternoon and I just left what I was doing, and dashed down to their office. My writing was upgraded to 7.
I was feeling really distraught yesterday because I was really tired of everything but this is a huge energy boost for me.
Apologies for the story, i just cant hold back |

Welcome to the house, page 1 should answer your questions. Should you need further clarifications, then you can ask specific questions 12inches1: Officially joining this thread. Typically how long does the application of express entry test. And how much would it cost financially to apply? |

I hail thee...thank you for schooling us Tojued: Considering we're talking about ielts, I think there's a world of difference. They both send out two different perceptions, thus triggering different emotions.
I doubt if there'll be a harvest this year. There can be a harvest this year, but the chances are slim.
Also one is a personal opinion of negativity (Subjective) and the other is based on facts (objective)
If someone asks my reasons for statement one I could be like, it's just my instinct. But for statement two, I would need to analyse and justify my view. |

With reference to the bold portion, the chances may be slim, but I know someone who's reading was upgraded from 7.5-8.[ cannydad: Sorry about that. Writing may change but for Reading, i doubt. Why not rewrite this week if you can, since the brain is still hot. Am still waiting to see mine oo. MOD please release me of this tension |

No sir, you are wrong. My wife traveled to the US at 35 weeks on Turkish airline, same goes for Qatar and emirates as my sister and friends' wife traveled with them at 34 weeks. DonTee07: Yea, alot of women go for medical tourism in Canada and USA but which airline carry 36 weeks? Most Airline dont carry beyond 28 weeks.
Delta Airline dont have limit but they make one sign indemnity form.
I've been there and talking from experience. |

Very close to mine. Reading was 6.5 as I spent the first 10mins answering nature as I was really pressed and so I didn't have time to go over my answers. I know remark can change my writing, the reading however, is my challenge since it was based on what I wrote sleekchic: Listening 9 Reading 7 Writing 6.5 Speaking 8.5
It is well o. Fellow IDP people please you can check yours too. |

etrange: Wait wait wait! I do not understand. I was actually praying for my file to be sent to LVO.
If my file is sent to London Visa Office, does it mean I will now go to London instead? Not a bad idea if you ask me .
Oh, you've written TEF? |

Hello good people. I submitted my WES application today and didnt carefully check that the name on my document is not what I filled in application-the first letter of my middle name is not on my documents like ADEOLU and DEOLU. Is this going to be an issue?? Thank you

many thanks. I would continue as PA having read some peoples' experiences in the past. Can I evaluate just my Masters degree or do I need to d both degrees. I have also been reading stuffs that have to do with visa refusals. Btw 2013 and 2016, I had half a dozen refusals from the UK. Would it pose any issues. Thanks CanadaPR: You'll be fine as PA if you can provide documents for the 3 years work before your private practice OR you could add your previous employment to your private practice to make 3 years if your company has Bank statements and Tax documents and if you can get letters from clients for required duration.
Your wife could also look for means to acquire 2or More certificates and shoot as PA. |

hello house, great job being done here. a question from a first timer on this thread.
We intend to going for the FSW, a family of 3;
I am a graduate of architecture with a Masters degree (34yrs in a few months) Working for about 8years post Masters degree(for architect graduates, masters run concurrently after 1st degree) I have been running private practice (LLC) fully for the past 5 years( with an irregular income) after leaving paid employment in 2013
Wife is a banker with a Bachelors and 4 years working experience.(29yrs old) a child with US citizenchip
Doing a quick assesement with an IELTS score(with both of us taking the test) that is good it appears that I should be the PA.
My question however is who's best to be the PA with reference to irregular income
thank you |

The news I was looking out for. and @chibertha sis I see you too. congrats. The bottom line from these 2 submissions for me- it is really not about divine favor always but doing things right. I have read submissions from them 2 way back on the thread and I just know you would get it right if you do things right. feddy27: It was successful |

prepayment does not guarantee a visa. Just go prepare and go have a honest chat with the VO instead of being interviewed Graceinme: Hello everyone, pls I need urgent advice.. I had my interview 21st of this month, posted my transcript earlier. Just scheduled another interview for June 8 next week, and am filling my ds160 but in the space provided for reason being denied I dont know what to write that would be justifiable in the eye of the VO.
Meanwhile we intend paying hospital bill...will it increase my chances or wont it look desperate.
Also intend going with my DH dorm acct statement which wasnt presented in previous interview together with d Gtb statement and coop statement presented earlier. Gurus mbok kindly advise. |
