5DMindset: Let me start my saying, I am not a tribal human specie, I was not born into the Igbo tribe and my tribes men are not in anyway on this internet supporting any tribe. We are a small tribe of excellent minds. We are not sentimental. So, let us discuss as humans without the bias that flows from our ignorant nation space that our parents birthed us into. Nature intended that we be birthed here so we can change things not to destroy them.
You did not even know that VISA was not required from ECOWAS member states, I educated you on that. Yet you have raised another issue erroneously. If you want to ask me a question, do so directly, because right now you are presenting an erroneous statement with a positive outlook. It is not the way to ask questions when in doubts.
Please ask me any questions and I will educate you on it. Like I said, I do not have time for emotional tantrums, I only chat with you because you apologized before and showed respect to me and I, to you.
Nigeria is a West African State, so any part of Nigeria remains in the West Coast of Africa. That is what is meant by West Africa. And ECOWAS means, Economic Community of West African States. Biafra by default will be a West African country. But where was ECOWAS when Nigeria sent Ghana packing in the Eighties? ECOWAS may flex their muscles with Gambia and Seirrealeone but they don't easily do this with Nigeria. An Example was the case of Dasuki, the ECOWAS court ordered Dasuki's release when his lawyers took the case to ECOWAS but Buhari has refused till date and they could do nada. Buhari also disobeyed the order of the Nigerian court. The ECOWAS headquarters is there in Abuja and Nigeria is top financer. I'm just pointing out possible wayward scenarios in your arguement, l'm not necessarily opposing you. |

Freemancipation: The point is that the nigeria you are desperately trying to save will be no more. Be careful what you wishfor.
This is not 1960s. Igbos with their diaspora today can finance a war for a very long time. You are only deceiving yourself if your hope is on those lgbos in diaspora. I'm out. |

Freemancipation: You sound exactly like Gowon who said he will take Biafra in 2 weeks. Almost 3 years later he was still fighting.
This time it will be worse because this generation is 3 times more stubborn than their parents. The problem is that in Gowon's time, it was a regional Government and the Eastern region was powerful, not just powerful but very active in the military and they knew all her weaknesses. |

modsfucker: Which of these states is an oil producing state
1. Abia 2. Anambra 3. Ebonyi 4. Enugu 5. Imo
Or do you mean South-South is now Biafra?
You insisted that you want to leave Nigeria, granted.
You now want to drag South-South into your potor Biafra, Wayo.
So is that your plan? e no go work
You must be given Biafra and you get nothing apart from Igbo states.....
FILTHY LOST JEWS The thing is the lgbos say they don't want their brothers in the south south to leave their ancestral land which is shared by many other ethnic groups. The Nigerian leaders who ruled after the Biafran war were smart, they divided the regions in such a way that you find Igbo's divided all over the south south, and even all the way to Benue in the middle belt. Same thing with the Yoruba's who were divided to have communities in the middle belt like kwara and kogi. Even Hausa/Fulani have been scattered all over the middle belt as communities too. They have made a unified clamour for secession by any major ethnic group difficult. |

Freemancipation: Op Will you fight to bring back Hausa Fulani back into Nigeria if they decide to leave? But the Northerners are waking up slowly though, they now hold several meetings to talk. Let's hope the wind of change is blowing there too. My friends who travelled to Kano before the BokoHaram saga seemed to have enjoyed the place, who knows, something good can come out of the North. |

Freemancipation: So you are basically saying that Nigerian unity is because of oil and that the reason Nigeria won't let Biafra go is to continue sucking their oil.
So basically one Nigeria is a scam. Exactly, Nigeria is bonded by oil, this is why the Northern Senators were skeptical about restructuring. |

Stingman: You don't need to go far...At NASS they rejected devolving powers to the states or region...Didn't the Igbos there fought for their interests? The NASS also rejected the SEDC but approved the NEDC, didn't the Igbos there fought for Igbos interest? Nigeria is at cross roads at the moment...The status quo MUST not continue. The North rejected it because they wrongly believe the Southern Governors want to control the major resources for themselves(especially oil) to the detriment of the North. Want we need in Nigeria is a round table dialogue, the campaigners for restructuring must come clarify things on their position to avoid misunderstanding. I kid you not, oil binds us together in this useless unitary system of Government. We need a roundtable talk. |

Stingman: I have not concluded...
But to do so, I prefer Biafra...To remain in Nigeria, would mean our suppression and subjugation continues...We need freedom to do things ourselves...I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed...
Since you want ONE Nigeria, how can those items enumerated be resolved? Ohaneze and the Igbo elites have tried for 50 years and they have not achieved anything... I am a Biafran only if it could lead to a Nigerian revolution. Let's not deceive ourselves, no national leader would want to give you referendum whereby it would be said in his time Nigeria was divided. Nations don't separate easily, Morocco and Western Sahara is still debated till date, lsrael and Palestine, etc. Even today you don't know the states that make up Biafra or the boundaries, Biafra is just an ideology for a better Nigeria. I am from the South South, and it baffles me that Jonathan couldn't build a port in warri or calabar, but still in all of these, secession OF AN ETHNIC GROUP is never a peaceful process and it's difficult even outside Africa, how much more Africa? Sudan and Eritrea fought for many years, in Nigeria's case there are lgbo communities all over the SE and SS, would Nigeria let SS go, considering the fact that corruption and oil binds us together? |

Stingman: 1. 2nd Niger brige will be built with Biafra, just like Nigerian governemt built the 3rd Mainland bridge.
2. My child will have equal opportunities than needing to score 213 to get admission into unity school, while your own child need to score 5?
3. Our people will have equal opportunities in the agencies of Biafra government and can raise to the highest rank, unlike in Nigeria where they are retired even when they are more educated, leaving the northerners and the SW people to chose among themselves?
4. We don't need to travel to other regions in order to travel abroad?
5. Our roads which are the worse federal roads in Nigeria, will be built by ourselves, we don't need to go the Abuja to beg and get permission to do them. We also don't need to beg them to be allowed to reactivate the coal corporation in the East...etc.etc.
6. Abuja belongs to the northerners as you can see all FCT ministers are ONLY from the north. So also Yorubas claim Lagos belongs to them, We easterners have nothing. We would build our own political capital city and economic city with Biafra.
7. With Biafra investments in R& for technology advancement have more chances to succeed, then in Nigeria where there is no trust beween the north, the SW and the SE. So any invention is thrown away so long as it wasn't from the north...
8. In terms of security...there won't be any Fulani herdsmen terrorisng communites in Biafra.
9. We can build our own rail network, unlike in Nigeria where we are excluded...from the $5bilion loan meant for that in the north, SW and parts of SS..
I stop here for now...
etc etc etc I may not be in support of secession but l think you are the only one who has made an attempt to answer the question unambiguously even though l do not support your conclusion. |
