dammylizzy: Evidence of Address: Tenancy agreement, council tax bill, paid utility bills, copy of your passport data page with clear evidence of your immigration status in the UK, employment letter, pay slip and statement of account. A letter of invite clearly stating that you will accommodate and provide feeding for your sister duration her stay in the UK. |

frankloloko: What else do you want to hear? ECOs reach their decisions on so many factors . Read thoroughly where we advised someone with similar situation three weeks ago (old and new companies) he got the visa this week. |

frankloloko: Failure to pay federal and state tax as a business owner is a criminal violation of the law. Moreover the only way ECO's can evaluate Nigerian companies especially sole proprietorship is through its tax clearance certificates. Since your father has two companies; and both old and new are still in operation. Submit both old and new documents. The decision to issue or refuse the visa might not be adjudged on the Tax Clearance certificate is alone. Regards 1 Like |

frankloloko: What do you mean by business reference? Since your father is the owner of both companies, he should use the Business Name and Limited Liability. Submit evidence of transactions, contract documents, receipts, invoices and any other document that is related to the business will be accepted, even from the inception of the business. |

@kaverd We have repeatedly demonstrated what a healthy bank statement should look like. Positive cash inflows and outflows, also refer to as source of funds, income and expenses. All the inflows must come from a verifiable source, therefore you are to submit evidence of business transactions, contract papers, award letters, receipts, invoices e.t.c. There is no particular format explaining money lodgement in account, just have all inflows you feel could raise questions asterisk and briefly explain the source and attach the paper evidence. Regards. |

NKGauteng: Welcome to Nairaland. Was just baffled as a african man. @topejonson72 apparently your visa has been compromised. I will advise you talk to your wife, then her family before reporting to the US consulate as opined by LadyG. Otherwise your own chances of entering the US is almost zero. 2 Likes |

topejohnson72: Never said you were desperate to leave, but why support the illegality. Or are you saying your wife is the head of the family and has the final say in the house? This is a perfect example of your situation which happened to a close friend. A family of four was granted B1/B2 visa but due to financial crisis they couldn't travel together. The Father travelled to the US and started working; promised to raise funds for the wife and two kids to buy tickets so they could join him in the State. After Seven Months of working so hard, the man eventually raised money, sent to the wife for the ticket. After three days, wife and two kids arrived the US safely after a very stressful trip and long queue at POE. CBP asked for the whereabout of the Husband. She was truthful and answer "he's been in the US for Seven Months" CBP was very happy and didn't hesitate to cancel wife and two kids visa and were immediately deported back to Nigeria for misinterpretation of intent. |

tinglesbabe: If your brother is providing accommodation. He will need to send you his Mortgage Bill, utility bill, copy of his passport data page and visa, with clear evidence of his certificate of registration or proof of enrolment in his school. The letter of invite will clearly states that he will accommodate and provide feeding for you and your daughter duration your stay otherwise use the hotel reservation. Voluntary withdrawal of your husband's appeal will not harm your application since you have not broken any immigration law. For your daughter, you will need her birth certificate. Her application will be filled separately for a child visitor visa which is classified as a "special visitor" Your finances and budget looks great. Your travelling history is a positive. ENGRPETER101: Your bank statement does not fit into a standard requirement and will still not fit after spreading the money. A healthy bank statement must have positive cash inflows and outflows, also refer to as source of funds, income and expenses. It must show your monthly income/salary even as a business owner. All inflows must be from a verifiable source. Don't waste your money because the ECO will happily refused your application. |

@Justwise. I have been following this thread for more than two years which is the most successful I have ever come across on Nairaland. With the recent imbroglio; public opinion has shown that majority of its members support for Costs, Doctors and Hospitals to be posted freely which doesn’t necessarily mean they are here to indirectly advertise for hospitals. This support has remained above 97% consistently in opinion polls since this outcry. Conflict isn't necessarily a bad thing. If it's open and direct, it helps in dealing with issues and building consensus. As a leader, you should be able to mediate conflict and reach consensus among members of this forum. Justwise, please focus on the real issues of this thread which is cost and procedures which falls under, Doctors, Hospitals and Costs. When the Mods and Admins disagree with members of this forum and the purpose of this thread is defeated, they burn bridges they may never be able to repair. Do not let other bloggers take advantage of this decision which could drastically reduce your members. Conflict is a normal part of any healthy organization. After all, we all can’t be expected to agree on everything all the time. Learning how to deal with conflict rather than avoiding it is very crucial in leadership and management. I'll suggest for the Admins to restrategize because we all understand that the purpose of this outcry is to protect the interest of your clients without breaching contracts and Nairaland's interest is also to maximize profit regardless of members opinion. It is a very complicated situation which should be intelligently managed. But remember without Nairalanders, Nairaland will go into extinction and out of business while those Hospitals which interest you are protecting will remain in business. 19 Likes |

akyiremlouis: A healthy bank statement must have positive cash inflows and outflows, also refer to as source of funds, income and expenses. You cannot leave money static over that period in your account. If your intention is building a bank statement for the purpose the the visa, ensure your monthly salary or income from a verifiable source reflects in the account spread over a period of six months. This is regardless whether you have a paid employment or self employed. 1 Like |
