Never heard of him.

He represented Ikorodu constituency 01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly for 8 years as a full time bench warmer and was recently made the majority leader of the same house by Tinubu.

Note. He is hated with passion by his own people in Ikorodu.

His P.A is my friend, but I just can't stand people who slander GEJ.

Please house...i made a mistake with my UKVI Visa Application Center. While i was filling my visa application, i think i mistakenly clicked on the UKVI Visa Application site even before i concluded my Visa application proper. So i think i clicked on Abuja and registered my GWF...but by the time i completed my visa online application, i then realized the need for the UKVI Visa Application Center registration. My preferred center is Victoria Island, Lagos...but the moment i clicked done, there was a pop that an application has already been registered with the same GWF number / Application Reference Number. I suspected i must have queued my stuff under Abuja...i couldn't complete the Register at Commercial Partner part. Please how do i correct this...and what is the implication on my visa application?

Have you made payment for the visa application?

Thank you sir. You have told me what I should not do but you didnt tell me what I can do in my situation for a succesful application considering i ought to travel for the exam by June.

Transferring the N2 million into your bank account is not totally out of place, but for the proof of funds to be a valid document, it must come from a verifiable source, therefore a legal document prepared by a lawyer "contribution agreement" that sets out the conditions in the monthly contribution is an important element.

The contribution agreement must Identify all parties to the agreement, including monthly beneficiaries and disbursement arrangement at the end of every month.

Hi guys.

I need your help. I applied for a UK tourist visa , I was issued the visa. But while completing the application, they ask if I was travelling with anybody, I said NO. Reason being that they did not grant my wife leave at work for that period. But her boss later informed her that she can proceed on leave. Now she is considering travelling with me and my 2 kids who already have UK visas.

My question is, Hope I wont be questioned about this at POE on arrival. I intend booking hotel that will accommodate myself and the family for the period of our stay. Thanks

That shouldn't be a problem my broda. If you're queried at POE, explain to the officer the same way you did here.

Hello,
I intend renewing my uk visa and also apply for a visit visa for my wife and 1 yr old son. I have previously had 6 months and 2 yrs visa that expired in august. The last time I applied for a visa I was still single. I need advise on if I should renew my visa first and subsequently put a copy in my wife and sons application, or should we apply as a group at the same time. My wife's only travel experience was our honey moon trip to dubai.

Thanks in advance.

You can apply for the whole family if you're financially capable to sponsor the trip. Do a family budget for flight, accommodation, transportation, feeding etc

Hello family good morning pls I have a family friend who have been in UK for almost 20 years he works in a transport corporation. I want to apply for a 6 months family visa and him as a sponsor but will pay him every cost involve wanted to know my chances of getting the visa and what's the requirement for the invitation. Pls help is really urgent

Apparently, your plan is to migrate to the UK with a visiting visa, but bear in mind that without sufficient and convincing home ties, your application won't fly.

Hi Justwise, frontpagelawyer & everyone. I have read through the thread from the beginning but didnt find any scenario exactly similar to mine. I need sincere advice on my U.K visa application. I intend to travel to the Manchester in June next year for a U.K medical licencing exam called PLAB 2. I have been planning towards this trip, so I decided to join a monthly contribution of 200k in my office and it'll be my turn to collect by the end on February, 2016 & it'll amount to 2 million. I intend to leave this money untouched in my salary account and apply for the visa in May for my exam in June. I'll be sponsoring myself entirely and have nobody in the U.K.

I read that one needs to produce a 6 month account statement as part of the visa application documents, don't you think in my case, this my plan will look like a lodgement? How do you advice I preceed with building my account? or does the 2 mil have to be in my account for entire 6months before applying for visa?

I have been a government worker for about 2 years with a regular income but no savings. I'm married, wife earns about 50k monthly and takes care of some petty domestic affairs, while i take care of big things like rent, car etc. I intend to travel with my one month annual leave next year June, no prior travel history. I have about 1 million in my pension account, the exam body in the U.K will also be sending me a booking confirmation of the test/invitation for the exam.

Experts please, I need tutoring on how best to approach this. I still have enough time to plan and want my application to be perfect when I'm submitting it.

Thanks in advance.

Do not transfer the N2 million to your salary account, except you have legal documents from the contribution. The ECO wants to see evidence/proof of all in flows in your account which must come from a verifiable source otherwise your application will be refused.

@FrontPageLawyer

yes i know i should mention all the previous refusals in question No.29 in the application
29) HAVE YOU BEEN REFUSED A VISA FOR ANY COUNTRY INCLUDING THE UK IN THE LAST 10 YEARS?
i know i should write (Yes - UK - Date - Visa Type - Reason) and mention the two dates and the type of the visa.

my question is: what should i write in the reason cell (especially for the refusal related to the large deposit)?
also, should i attached any covering letter and comment for this two refusals? if so, what is the best idea i should use to cover this refusal?

Mention all previous refusals UK, US or Schengen. This question does not have any negative effect on the outcome of your application, it is a credibility test because they have the records whether mentioned or not.

Reasons for refusals should be short and precise; "financial ties"

@Zoomzu
thanks for your reply, but although my organization will sponsor my trip and its stated in the papers and i submitted my bank statement summary beside the HR letter showing my salary, the ECO asked for a detailed bank statement and it is one of the reasons of the first refusal.

regarding to re-apply, it is related to any future chance for training in UK from my organisation and in the same time i will organise my account as you suggest.

my concern is: if they will refuse any future application from my side because of the previous two refusal even i submitted all the papers right.
and also, should i mention any comment regarding to the reason of the second refusal (previous large deposit) or i should let it go?

You must mention all previous refusals in your future application. The consequences of withholding such sensitive information is a 10 years ban.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by FrontPageLawyer(m): 11:22am On Dec 17, 2015
Alexander2020:

@FrontPageLawyer,
Yes, they already did sponsored my trip and it is mentioned in my application, and there is no comment from the ECO related to this point because it was clear to him.

Yes, i know i made a big mistake, but is that the end of the story?

kindly advise me, if i wait for any future chance like this and i submitted all the right papers next time. is that will be fine?
or i am now in a black list and they always will look for the previous 2 refusal?

what should i do and you can advise me in the future application? should i present any comments for the previous refusals or not?

do you ever heard about any example have a visa granted after two refusals?

your thoughts.

Visas are approved even after 10 refusals as long as it is not a ban.

You were refused because you intentionally lodged money into your account prior to visa application. It is inconsequential whether the lodgement was for the visa application or not, but for the ECO, the act was done for you to secure a visa.

If the above is the case, then you are not on a ban and can be granted visa in your next application if you adhere to instruction, but if you've used fraudulent documents or wilful misrepresentation, then you should be afraid of future applications.

Wait until after the lodgement won't show in your six months statement of account; maintain a healthy account. Separate your salary account from other business accounts, your closing balance doesn't determine the outcome of your visa, there are other factors that are put into consideration e.g employment ties, family ties etc. $2.1B won't secure you even a 6months visa if the source of income is unknown.

Good day everybody,

i am new in this forum but i was attracted to it because i noticed that there is many guys who have a good understanding in the travel issues. i hope some one can advise me in my issue.

I work in an Egyptian branch in Egypt for an English company in UK.

The company asked me to apply for a UK business visit visa to UK to train me for a new product.

I have some friends in the same company who traveled before for the same reason (training) advised me to submit an HR letter and bank statement summary beside the invitation letter from the company and borrow some money to make the bank statement summary look better (big mistake i realized it later) but they done it before and worked with them.

so i followed their advise. and i applied for the visa

i received a refusal note (the first) because of :

The clearance officer wants to see the salary transactions in my account and my marriage evidence (my Ties to Egypt).

so, i applied again and submitted the bank statement in details with my salary transactions and my marriage evidence and my house papers.

and i have applied again.

i received a refusal note (the second) because of :

the large deposit prior of my application.

Now i should payback this deposit to its owner again.
Now, i have two refusal because of my ignorance but they will think i am dishonest, what should i do?
Now i missed the current training chance.
but it will be some more in the future and it is good for my career and experience.

shall i forget it?
shall I wait for the next training chance and submit a fresh bank statement (depend on my salary only with regular transactions) with a fresh application or it will be a waste of time?

will they treat the third application with its merits or they will consider the previous refusal reasons and will ask for the origin of the large deposit again (it will not exist in the third application)?
and if i applied again shall i mention any reason for this deposit or not?

any help or advise will be very appreciated.

Long story short, you were found guilty of money lodgement. Because of your action, it is advisable you wait for another 6 months before you re-apply to give way for the lodgement in your account.

Ensure that the purpose of your trip to the UK is plausible and comprehensible.

If your company is genuinely sending you to the UK for a training, why are they not sponsoring the trip? It makes sense

Your religious belief must be very strong to be a resident in some part of Ikorodu where their spiritual sacrifices have littered and taken over some major roads.
The discovery was made on Sunday 6, December, 2015. A friend is a resident close to where the decomposing bodies were found. It is even more worrisome and horrifying to think that after working hours, we are sometimes gathered just about 300 metres away from the crime scene discussing the state of the nation.

Calling on justwise, vicjustice and all nairaland gurus. My six months visa to the uk expired last year December 2014 to be precise( I made a trip to the uk just once before the expiration of my visa). Now I intend to apply for a 2 years uk visa with the relevant supporting documents. However, I am confused on certain issues and need clarification from the house. 1. When I made my last application I did so with my wife who was given a 2 years visa because she ha been travelling before we got married. Now we have a baby and want to travel with her, my wife has a good paying job and will be paying for her ticket, while I intend to pay for I and my daughter. So for the portion of the online form which reads' what is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP' I wish to state 7oo pounds ( this will money will be for shopping for myself, daughter and wife for our 7 days trip to the uk) is this figure quoted realistic for the ECO of the British Embassy. 2. Also, for the portion of the online form which reads' the cost of the Aeroplane, Boat or train ticket' like I said I will be paying for I and my daughter and the price quoted by one of the airlines for an adult and an infant is less than 2oo, ooo can I quote t in the form? 3. Who can please tell the dollar rate which the uk embassy is using at the moment as well the pound rate? Thanks for your prompt response.

What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP: Total money you're spending for the trip e.g. Feeding, Transportation, and Plane Ticket etc. For your infant you should input N/A since you are the sponsor.

For the cost of aeroplane. Check the fare breakdown from the airlines website and input figures accordingly i.e. Adult: N287,146, Infant: N30,195 (These figures are real from Arik Air)

Even though you are in order, you must substantiate that your business generates your claimed income.

Your company's account where your salary is coming from must show evidence of business activities, all in flows must be from a verifiable source. Sales and purchase receipts, invoices, contract papers e.t.c must be used to support your application.

If you filled in your application that you have no friends and families in the UK; then make sure the hotel you're staying or booked is an apartment with kitchenette, otherwise how do you explain at POE where the food will be cooked when you're asked by immigration officers? But if you have friends or families in the UK and you mentioned it in your application that you'll be accommodated by either of them, then you have no problem/fear carrying your food stuffs. It's logical.
