How much do you spend each month on living cost?
What is the cost to you personally for your trip in pounds?
What is the total amount of money you have for this trip?
What is the cost of your living expenses?

Gurus in the house please help, this questions are confusing for me all of a sudden, i need prompt help with how to answer them and apportion figures, i asked for insight already here ytdy around 4pm.

Next time you must read the thread thoroughly because these same questions have been treated here severally.

(a) How much you spend monthly in Nigeria for Feeding, transportation, utility bills, subscription etc. Sum it up, then convert to "£"using www.oanda.com

(b) Total you wish to spend on the trip, sum up feeding, accommodation, aeroplane, transportation (Be realistic with your budget and it must commensurate with your financial circumstances)

(c) Same as (b) accept you want to add miscellaneous.

(d) Amount you want to spend in the UK for food, transport, shopping, tour etc

Hello all, am applying for the UK visit visa for the first time and my uncle, who is a citizen wants to send me an invitation. Please what are the documents to request from him and what other documents will I also attach to my application. I work in a bank and intend to travel for my holidays. Thanks and eagerly waiting for responses or guide on how to go about everything.

This is the umpteenth time we're responding to these questions.

If your uncle is providing accommodation, he needs to send you his mortgage bill, utility bill, copy of his passport data page with clear evidence of his immigration status in the UK. A letter of invitation clearly stating he will accommodate and provide feeding for the duration of your stay.

On your part, you will need your 6 months pay slip, 6 months bank statement, employment letter, introduction letter from company, leave letter and other documents to proof your ties to Nigeria, this may be property documents, shares documents, inheritance, marriage certificate, children birth certificate etc.

For your financial accounts, make sure there are regular activities and no money lodgement. You must also demonstrate to the ECO that you will not become a financial burden to the UK Government or decide not to return to Nigeria.

The more reasons they see that you have, that must bring you back to Nigeria, the better your chances for a visa.

Medview will begin operations to London Gat. this Friday. Will just like to know anyone's take on it. i am considering booking them, it is the cheapest available right now. is it advisable to book or wait till they make their first trip?

It's a great milestone in our Aviation Industry.

N149,000 Lagos to London is a good, but I doubt if the elites will fly Medview due to the "Nigerian factor"

Will try it IF they're operating with a new Airbus or Boeing. 6hours on air is no joke.

Congratulations to Medview.

Please front page lawyer and just wise advice o.

Traveling for Christmas with my kids 14 yr old twins and 11 year old . Not employed our decision as a family, stopped work since 2012 i do business on the side but no registered company for me so my status is unemployed. Did my masters in uk came back 2009 haven't gone back to uk but I have been traveling yearly on holiday with family, South Africa, holland, dubai. Please check my documentation if I am good to go, also my kids the money part I plan to only fill 500 pounds for them...don't know what to put there?

Sponsor is my husband who has uk 10 year visa.

Sponsor bank statement: company statement, sole proprietor , sole signatory,
one man business balance on account is about 10 million turnover for 6 months about 60 million. ( construction design and build company)
Sponsor company registration documents
Sponsor tax clearance
Marriage Certificate
letter of sponsorship
birth certificate of Children
marriage photographs
tenancy agreement of our own tenant
Landed property letter of agreement.
hotel booking confirmation printout

What is your monthly expense: 1000 GBP
How much on dependants: Nil
What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP: nil

the total amount of money you have for this trip: £5500
the cost of the aeroplane, boat or train: £3000
the cost of accommodation: £500.... Premier inn bed and breakfast

the cost of your living Expenses: £2000
Is someone other than you paying for all or part of your trip? Yes

Traveling for 10 days applying for 6 months visa.

My bank statement balance 150k

Your documents are good.

You will have to fill separate applications for each of your children. Input their own income and expenditure. But the "cost of accommodation" will be £0 or N/A since you're staying together. Total amount you have for this trip for the children should be "living expenses + cost of aeroplane" What is the cost to you personally of your trip should be £0 or N/A. Same with you since your husband is the sponsor.

Ensure the hotel is suitable for the numbers of applicants and have a copy of the hotel booking attached to each application.

The total amount you have for this trip "overall" for yourself and children will then be summed up together and explained in the "additional information" or cover letter to the consulate.

I will advise you prepare a well arranged budget sheet.

Lastly, your husband must sign a consent letter addressed to the consulate.

Best wishes.

please guys I need clarification on these, what is the difference between misrepresentation of material and misrepresentation of marriage. And if one is handed misrepresentation of marriage and in actual fact such individual is a real couple with 3 yr + baby now. is there any correction the consulate can make on such person. during their interview 4yr ago they misname one of their photo and they were accused of not been husband and wife. Though it was immigrant visa then. and they apply for non immigrant now, any hope for them.

Your action is defined as fraudulent misrepresentation, because you made the application with intent to deceive the visa Officer and with the knowledge that it is false.

You can check your refusal notice, if you were refused under section 214(b) then you're still eligible to reapply.

Well I appreciate this idea of yours
What if I tell them am going for vacation
With a good tie of working in my uncle company then I present the company certificate

A company that is not yours?

Let me quickly inform you that if you use fraud/misrepresentation in applying for a US visa and you're caught. A lifetime ban awaits you under section 212 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Patient is virtue. Just wait until you're qualify or ask your "internet girlfriend" to visit you in Nigeria if she truly loves you as claimed, then get married to her after which you will be more than qualify for an immigrant visa.

Hello my people
I have been dating a black American for five month now and she doesn't want to come to Nigeria, she want me to come over with a visiting packaging which is accept to provide all the neccessary requirements which I don't know how to go about it
I need all the the necessary requirement that will be presented at the embassy from her and also from me too
Thanks for helping a brother

First of all, visa applicants are assumed to be intending immigrants so you'll have to convince the visa officer that you are not one. How can you achieve that?

It is essential you have a valid reason for visiting the US, you must have a way to support yourself without working illegally, you must have significant ties to your home country, and you must have the intent to return back home.

Your case is very weak. It is advisable you leave your “internet girlfriend” out of your application. This is an individual you’ve never met in real life. The visa officer will be very happy to refuse your visa.

Different scenario. This one is called fraud and willful misrepresentation

Engagement can always be defended but not advisable e.g she can claim her boyfriend went from super rich to broke.

KEY: Be 100% truthful during visa interview.

Hi Everyone

One final question before I click submit. I want to include additional information explaining financial circumstances and what not. Should I include this in the additional info tab and still repeat in a cover letter or just put a cover letter and say in the additional info tab "please refer to cover letter attached to application". Apologies if this appears to be a silly question.

Not a silly question. Better you explain in the “additional information” if space permits and do same in the cover letter. Either way is fine.

Whether company or personal account. The ECO is interested to see proof/source/origin/evidence of funds.

None, I could take out that bank statement and just go with my uba. As for sales receipt, I will have to be issuing receipt now, sales are done everyday, will i have to submit all the receipt for the 6months or can just pick out few.

Please read your refusal letter again. "These deposit are inconsistent with the account history and your stated income. You may have not provided any evidence as to the origin of these deposits"

You must provide proof of funds otherwise your application will be refused again.

Sales and purchase receipts, invoices, contract paper e.t.c that is what is required.

The main problem here was the deposit of the 800k to your account. The Visa officer discovered that large deposits like that were not deposit to your account before. Based on that the officer concluded that the statement does not show true financial position of you or that of the company. The cash was deposited to the account for the purpose of visa. The officer might be wrong but any reasonable person will think that way, me too.

It's called money lodgement. Do you have paper evidence for this deposit?

Please FrontPageLawyer and Justwise have a look!

The decision..

1. You have stated on your application that you are single and as the director of XYZ Nigeria Limited and earn 250k per month. You have provided as evidence company registration documents, a tax document, company bank statements and personal bank statements, I also note that your claim income is reflected in the bank statements provided in your name from UBA; however I am not satisfied that you have provided sufficient evidence to confirm the trading activities of the company or the deposits shown in the coys bank statement from Zenith bank and First Bank, I am therefor not satisfied that your financial circumstances are as stated

2. As evidence of your funds, you have submitted personal bank statements from First Bank and UBA, First bank with s closing balance of 1.1m, on the 27/09/2015. However, I note that there are a number of unexplained deposits shown in the account, for example, 800k was credited to your account on 18/09/2015. These deposit are inconsistent with the account history and your stated income. You may have not provided any evidence as to the origin of these deposits. I note that these deposits are also not shown as debits from the company bank accounts provided from First bank and Zenith. I am therefore not satisfied that these funds are genuinely available.

..........

My take on this is.

For decision 1, I am into poultry farming majorly, I deal mostly with market women and my workers can barely write, we really don't issue receipts for sales. I have tippers too that supply different type of sand for building, every weekend money is deposited by the drivers into the coy account, so no receipt for this.

For decision 2, I submitted two personal account, UBA AND FIRST BANK, My personal account in first bank, is like a saving and expenditure account for me, I use to receive non business related payments, gift from friends and families and general payments.

Now I am thinking Should I reapply?

Then I could add some sales receipt , must it be 6 months?

I could take off my personal account statement with first bank and just use my UBA personal account statement with a closing balance of 1.2m ?

Thanks

Your application was refused because the ECO was not satisfied that your claimed income N250k, even though it reflected in your bank statement was generated from your business. That means the funds in your account does not commensurate with your business as stated in your application.

You can reapply, only if you have addressed the issue raised by the ECO. You must include contract documents, transaction receipts, sale and purchase receipts, your poultry documents, licence to operate a hatchery and other documents which can proof as your ties to Nigeria.

Because your staffs are illiterate is not enough reason as a business owner not to keep sales and purchase records, receipts, invoices and what have you.

@teams4040,
Please confirm what amount you indicated as your hubbys cost of hotel and yours. am aware you used same hotel reservation . Would also appreciate the other breakdown too just to compare. Thanks

Let me reiterate that cost of accommodation should be £0

For my wife and two boys.

The cost of accommodation: £0 for all three of them (visa issued)

Standard room for four persons.

All you need is book a room suitable for the numbers of applicants and submit evidence of the booking in each application.

For the wife. Cost of accommodation should be £0 or N/A. Since they are staying in same hotel, the husband should attach the hotel booking to the wife's application and explain in a cover letter. Simple

Since they're staying in the hotel together as couples.

The cost of accommodation for the wife should be £0. All he has to do is book a hotel room meant for two persons and attach the print out of the hotel booking confirmation to his wife's application. Explanation can be done in the cover letter.

Thanks for the quick reply.
We will be sharing the accomodation, so effectively it is about 500pounds total for both of us. I have just put the same amount in the different forms with the intention to include an explanation in her application that we will be sharing accom.

Living expenses for both of us should not exceed 400-500 really. We are in the UK for like 7days.

Do you see any other issues/changes required to the information presented in the table?

Thanks again for your help!

For your wife

The cost of accommodation: (Please input £0) Attach your hotel booking. Please ensure this hotel is for two persons. Explain in the cover letter.

Also, you must be realistic with your budget. The Cost of living expenses and the total amount you have for the is just too much.

Your budget must commesurate with your finances.
