Tipping culture goes as far back to when slavery was abolished in the US.

The newly emancipated slaves were barely being paid for menial jobs they could get .

Tipping culture has it's deep roots in American slavery and most waiters/waitresses were mostly coloured folks up till the 70s when young white college students needed extra money.

People forget that America was founded on genocide and slavery .

Fought a civil war over slavery as an institution.

Miscegenation was a criminal offense up till the 60s in most states in the south .

And America only ended racial apartheid in the 60s.

A percentage should be used or if your ruling gets overturned at the Appeal/Supreme court, then penalty applies.

Have them retake exams.

The same Judge who ordered INEC to register NDC is the one who has now reversed his original ruling after Peace Movement Party requested to be joined in the suit as they are the ones whose logo was hijacked by NDC.

You may think party logos are inconsequential and should not form the basis of determining if a party gets registered or not but in a country like Nigeria with low literacy rates , party logos/symbols are very crucial for most voters in registering their votes .


Hence, why political parties have successfully sued INEC in the past for omitting their party logo on the ballot paper.

As per judges having their cases overturned at the Appeal or Supreme court, most of this usually occurs owing to new available evidence not tendered during the lower courts.

In situations were a trial judge knowingly and deliberately rules on a case out of bias and without recourse to the law, there are disciplinary actions that are in place under the NJC to deal with such cases.

Last year, the NJC suspended several judges over their handling of cases . Some were barred for 2-3ys from sitting.

Others were recommended for immediate disciplinary actions that will see some disbarred .while some have been recommended for early retirement.

Were bribery is established, the NJC always submits the erring judge to the police for investigation .

The only thing Judges the world have going for them is immunity to be sued in a civil court for decisions they made when serving on the bench.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tinubu has sent emissaries to Kanu. Tinubu’s strategy is simple. Disenfranchise Obi from the race, release Nnamdi kanu and then drop Shettima in favour of a Northern Christian and then attempt to make 2027 a North vs South affair.
