@jonny. Am also an ad hoc staff. As for d duplicate on ur card, there is no cause for alarm, cos some of my colleagues here have been printing such until we did what george just xplained. If u really want to change ur card, there is no need to re register cos the system will detect ur finger print and that is a criminal offence in the electoral act. Just pray that the center u registered is not the always crowded type and u have to approach the registration officers with politeness, beg them and teach them how to print without showing duplicate, cos we were not taught that @ the training, but some us deviced that. Who knws INEC REC for Gombe state? Pls warn him oooo

Hello fellow niaraladers, the other day one of the inec official went on to insult corpers and blaming them for inec's glaring incompetence. I wonder how many graduates that cant handle a simple laptop, with a very simple software, even more simple than ms-word, then a faulty printer, a common webcam and biometric scanner. The truth is that inec are being economical with the truth, am one of the corpers participating in the on going voters registration, the system are not just of standard and then the issue of the corpers allowance, especially the transport allowance, 400 naira daily.

We here in gombe state have not been paid this transport allowance that amount to 6000 naira for the first phase of 15 days and now the xtension is coming, we have not been told how much we are to earn for the first phase and nothing about the second phase.
Some camps, like mine in gombe have embarked on demonstrations @ one time or the other but this issues have not been properly addressed yet.
Anybody will similar xperience, lets share them here, and see how we can get all benefits that are due us,
We here have a copy of the circular to the nysc about our benefits and that is our point in this struggle, cos we intend grounding registration process in gombe soon until we are cleared.

Am a corp member participating in d exercise, d scanners are frustrating couple with d fact that am in a village in gombe state, where they are mostly farmers, capturing d already distorted finger prints becomes an uphill task. As for being paid 100k in 2007, we are hearind that we will b paid 30k for the exercise this time.
