I was born in a very dedicated christian home and my parents and senior siblings helped to teach us the ways of truth. So, days laterafter I'd relocated to a new place as a young adult, I started praying intensely to see the lord Jesus. I had dreams and visions of rapture and the world ending but kept asking God to reveal the lord Jesus to me. This took sometime and I'm not sure how long I'd prayed may be some months, and then one night on my bed while I lay sleeping,, I heard a voice calling me and saying that the Holy Spirit is here, but in response I said I needed to see the Lord Jesus Himself and behold from the corner of my room where I had my wardrobe came forth an angelic procession which took a v-shape with one on white linen gown apparel leading, while the rest behind Him processed by ranks all on white linen gown apparel. He came towards me on the bet where I laid and touched my head saying I am the lord Jesus Christ, and immediately I stared speaking in tongues and my head was visually burning with flames of fire. It continued until I was exhausted and begged God to stop the speaking of tongues, as I couldn't help but rush to the bathroom to put my head under the shower. This made me understand that the Holy Spirit is one with the Lord Jesus.

What happened thereafter was a life changing testimonial prayer with a friend for his kidnapped brother.

I give God all the glory because He still works perfectly in the life of those who believed in His Name.

You got the message right. The Lord Jesus is one with the Holy Spirit. This is confirmed by the Bible. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ.

They won't read their Bibles to know the truth for themselves. These ones have paid the price for their ignorance with their own lives.

Well, if you say speaking in tongues is the 'only' evidence of baptism of the holy spirit, then you're correct because you're solely entitled to your own opinion.

This is not opinionated. You can research the topic. Note that it's possible to be filled and speak in tongues during the infilling. Afterwards, the person may no longer speak in tongues but he or she still has the baptism. This happened to many ministers of the gospel who walked in power in those days when the knowledge of the baptism was not there. The knowledge of the Holy Spirit Baptism was not rampant even in the early 90s as we have it today.

Possibly they learn it from Muslims, when I was in UAE, we do go to church on Fridays not Sunday. My house was at Al Yahal a suburb of Abu Dhabi (almost 3 hours drive), our church will send a coaster bus to pick us ( almost 30 Africans) without paying 1dihran. They send lot of buses out to bring all their members across Abu Dhabi and Al ain.

All the churches or denominations are located in thesame area , no scattered churches like what we have here in Nigeria. Once we get there they'll first of all give us food and hot tea.

As the service is on-going, they will count all of us that came with that particular bus and load it with lot of boxes full of food, juice, fruits, provisions etc.

Even after the service, we'll still eat before going home. If you like you can eat indian food, Arab food or westerners kind of food are available!

Bus will take us back home without paying a dine, on getting home alot of foods will be waiting for us again, from Muslims who came to our camp to give us gift.

I tell you for 3 days we don't need to cook or buy anything. All we need to do is just warm up the foods. I'm not sure it's thesame thing in Dubai cause most of the locals( Emirati ) are based in Abu Dhabi the capital and Al ain.

The only problem with Arab world is low wages. Aside that, it's an heaven on earth, mind you all church in Abu Dhabi do this every Fridays. NOT FOR FIRST TIMERS OOO

So it seems we southern christians don't really know how to give gift.

Do Muslims give gifts in their mosques? I'll like to know how they learnt it from Muslims as you said.

Most times, they call on Muslims to clarify the logical defects of the Quran or Hadith but rather than provide answers you guys either run away or enter there to throw insults.

Some of the things I've read about the Quran and Hadith are so absurd that cannot see any reason why anybody would accept that as a book from heaven.

The last I have read is that Mohammed has said Satan would enter your mouth if you fail to cover it with your hand. How absurd can that be? Is that really God speaking or some man making conjectures?

I maintain that Islam and its teachings look relatable on the surface but the reverse becomes the case after doing a deeper dig.

Christianity is completely relatable and satisfies the yearnings of the soul. A Muslim can't see that because he has been preconfigured to reject Christianity and whatever it stands for. By deceitfully representing scriptures and making the Bible say what it does not say, a Muslim sees the Bible in the very opposite dimension of what the Bible is.

Yeah, you wouldn't expect everything that God does and, or who He is to fall within the realms of human logic. The spiritual sides of God have no human vocabulary for their expressions. We can only use the closest similies. And you should expect it to be so.

Christianity has an all round appeal. It caters for the body and the spirit. It's in itself a journey. It starts from the known to the unknown. It communicates with your soul.

As I've explained before, people encounter Jesus without ever desiring Him in the first place.

I don't have the full story of Adéwálé Ayuba's conversion, so I can't make any conclusion. But generally, if someone becomes a Christian just because he got some loans, he is still not a Christian.

See, a Christian is not someone who worships in a church or bear Christian names. A Christian is someone who has met Jesus and has a close walk with Him. Most people out there whom you call Christians are actually not Christians. A Christian is a disciple of Jesus Christ.
