Shetemi12: Interesting. So we exchanged BOKO HARAM for Bandits... that practically attack the presidents convoy and hold local governments and areas to ransom. They even drop how many each community should pay them if not, the community would not farm. Corruption on the scale of billions to trillion... almost every two to three months and there are more but yet, we say PDP is the cause. I understand. |

In the West, 5 PDP governors went for an event where for them to even talk, everyone was shouting ATIKU! It may look like a paid thing but what do we say... this race is not like 2019. |

Johnthejohn: Did you notice something the defendants didn't take note - They can have sacked for misdemeanor based on she was on probation! The Judge actually gave a hint because he refused her reinstatement due to the fact that she was on probation! But again, how can a law that does not sack Police men, sack Police women for the same offence! That is highly discriminatory. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Reinaldo: Tell him o. He doesn't even know players when Ferguson started coaching like Eric Cantona. He did not even talk of Roberto Carlos - that powerful player of banana shot. He cannot even mention George Weah. Not even a member of the Ajax squad that Kanu belonged too that stormed the world. Even the Ronaldinho he talks about, spoke about Okocha being his model! Oh and the famous Ronaldo of Brazil. 5 Likes 1 Share |

MERCHANDISER: I am seriously disappointed at your lack of sense of history. Pele played football in seriously unsafe times. The rough of those days were spectacular. And the worse was racism (he was a black Brazilian). Neither Messi nor Ronaldo faced any of these two. In fact, I see Messi being protected when it came to all these "rough". And then, his dribbling was off the chart. It was so good that it was normal to hear Pele dribbling a keeper (one case, he dribbled a whole field and the keeper, it was so bad that after the match, he went to the dressing room to apologize to the crying keeper. It is said that the keeper retired after that day). He didn't only dribble. He also scored. He won 3 senior world cups in the space of 16 years. He played football during the time when they played football like if they were children - ALMOST EVERYDAY. And his country passed a law that made it very hard for Pele to transfer to another country. His country president said he was a national treasure. There is a lot to say but the final one is this - his dribbling was so insane that even when acting in a film (he acted with Sylvester Stallone - i think the name of the film is victory) they hardly took retakes for any part he had to dribble and score (find out how hard it is to make a sports film). His sportsmanship was top-notch (even when he was looked as a black monkey, in a case in Italy, he said a child was scratching his skin to see if the charcoal or his black skin would come off). I have met people who saw him, Maradona and Messi and they laugh when people praise Messi ahead of both of them. All round stats on and off the pitch - he flogs them both. And youtube does not even help issues or lend a picture to what he did. Find books about him - the most popular, my life and the beautiful game. 12 Likes |

glasshouse: Guy no too much talk. Go to NEPA office and report that you do not understand why they are now billing you #35000 instead of #4500. Tell them to come and check your equipment and the rest. We did something like this and we that use to pay 10k - 12k started paying 3-4k last two years ago. Its this year year that we got our bill up to 10K. NEPA does not over triple someones' bill like that. And don't tell them about your neighbour, let them come to the house and be the judge of that. And defend yourself with your own account stuff o. |

Politics / Is There A 70 Trillion Naira Scam In Nigerian Banks Being Covered Up? by Gabangel(m): 9:05pm On Dec 28, 2022 |
I saw this on WhatsApp, and it feels so real, what is your take on it. Is it true or someone is trying to play with our kidneys? *MONUMENTAL SCANDAL: How Govt Officials Hide N70 Trillion in Banks… CBN, Justice Ministry Refuse to Act on Recovery* …. Report fingers top CBN and First Bank officials ….Court adjourns case till 6th of March 2023 ….Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice grows cold feet The suit seeking the Recovery and Forfeiture of over N70 trillion in looted funds in the hands of a few Nigerians has been adjourned until March 6, 2023 by Honourable Justice Peter Odo Lifu of Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos. The Honourable Justice presided over the case with the case number Fhc/L/Cs/968/2021 on March 7 and adjourned it to March 31 for a decision before the final adjournment until March 2023. The money said to be stashed away in 29 bank accounts mainly in First banks is enough to fund Nigeria’s budget for three years with some change to keep. The proposed budget for 2023 is N20.5 trillion, meaning that the N70 trillion hidden by some Nigerians could effectively finance the national budget for three years. The efforts of private investigator Muhammad T. Ismail and his team to recover the N70 trillion through the office of Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) have hit a brick wall because some powerful vested interests have intervened to thwart the case. The investigator bemoaned the fact that certain vested interests in the Presidency, Central Bank Nigeria, and First Bank were thwarting all efforts to recover the alleged loot. Below is the full deposition made by the investigator as published by PointBankNews BRIEF ON THE RECOVERY AND FORFEITUURE OF OVER N70 TRILLION NAIRA OF LOOTED FUNDS IN THE HANDS OF FEW NIGERIANS IN SUIT NO: FHC/L/CS/968/2021. Muhammad T. Ismail (a private investigator) and his team were able to identify fraudulent bank accounts where trillions of illicit funds belonging to the Federal Government of Nigeria were domiciled. Mohammad T. Ismail needed a legal instrument to recover these illicit funds to the Federal Government of Nigeria. Muhammad T. Ismail therefore approached Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) and instructed him to write and request for a letter of mandate/instruction from the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, and also from the Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on his behalf, for the recovery of the illicit funds hidden in some secret bank accounts in Nigeria. These funds belong to the Federal Government of Nigeria. This letter from Muhammad T. Ismail was received and acknowledged on the 6th of January 2021 by the Head of Department of Civil Litigation in the Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers), Barr. Saidu Alfa Bala. Muhammad T. Ismail also swore to an Affidavits on the same date of 6th of January 2021 in support of the instruction given to Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers). As instructed and being convinced of the facts available, Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) wrote to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, the Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning and also to the Accountant General of the Federation. Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) requested for a mandate and instruction to recover Federal Government looted and hidden funds on behalf of his client who is Muhammad T. Ismail. (Copies of all these letters and correspondences will be made available to you on request). The Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice responded on the 14th of January 2021 by way of inviting Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) for a meeting scheduled for the 19th of January 2021 to discuss details and procedures for the recovery with the Asset Recovery Unit in the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice. Twenty Nine (29) bank accounts where a combined sum of over seventy trillion naira (N70 Trillion) belonging to the Federal Government was hidden were identified. On the 21st of June 2021, The Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice approved and issued the letter of instruction to recover illicit funds traced to specified accounts of individuals to Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers). The letter of instruction also listed the twenty nine (29) bank accounts. The twenty nine (29) bank accounts are in seventeen (17) banks in Nigeria. As expected, Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) ran to the Federal High Court 9, Ikoyi Lagos where most of the Bank Head Quarters are domiciled. The case was between (1) The Federal Republic of Nigeria (2). The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice as Claimants/Applicants against the seventeen banks as Defendants. On the 9th of August, 2021, Hon. Justice T. G. Ringim gave several orders including an Interim Order of Forfeiture. All the Banks were served accordingly. The Banks were also to provide Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) all documents and information relating to the listed accounts. Shockingly, the Banks could not provide information regarding the ownership of twenty six (27) out of the twenty nine (29) accounts. That automatically meant that all the funds in the twenty seven (27) accounts should be forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria even as no one has come to claim ownership of the accounts. But this has not happened till date. The hands of the courts have been tired down. Three (3) accounts stand out. The affected banks were able to provide documents relating to the three (3) accounts; Zenith Bank Plc. Account Name: NNPC (REM ACC/PRIVATE) Account No: 1012280444 Account Bal. N32 Billion Naira Currency Type: Naira First Bank Plc. Account Name: NNPC/ NAOC IPP SECURITY Account No: 2006367288 Account Bal. N147B Naira Currency Type: Naira First Bank Plc. Account Name: NNPC/NAOC IPP SECURITY Account No: 2005942905 Account Bal. $299,613. 72 USD Currency Type: DOLLAR USD. This is the interesting part; Zenith Bank Plc., suddenly woke up from sleep and said that the N32B in Account No. 1012280444 with Account Name NNPC (REM ACC/PRIVATE) has been swept into NNPC Remittance Account (Coastal PRD Sales) Account No. 1010654418 from where it was eventually transferred to CBN/TSA Account No. 3000004989 with the CBN on the 7th of January 2016. This is not true. Recall that the CBN directives for all balances/receipts due to the Federal Government or its Agencies to be paid into the Treasury Single Account (TSA) ended on or before September 15, 2015. Zenith Bank Plc. has not been able to give explanation as to the reason Account Nos. 1012280444 and 1010654418 were still operational after September 15, 2015. Another shocking revelation is that Account No. 1012280444 with Zenith Bank Plc. has five (5) BVNs as follows: 22173355534,22376914983, 22193440291, 22367697055, and 22235680190. Zenith Bank Plc. has not been able to supply statement of accounts for Account Nos 1012280444 and 1010654418from inception to date. They cannot provide photograph pictures of the five (5) BVN owners. Zenith Bank Plc. stated that Account No. 1012280441 (another account being investigated with N32B lodgement) belongs to Mrs Okoro Comfort with cellular number 08130734041. However, Mrs Okoro Comfort, through her counsel denied any knowledge of the said account or any other account with Zenith Bank Plc. Mrs Okoro Comfort admitted that her cellular number is 08130734041 and her BVN is 222417%%%49 different from the BVN 2236767055 attached to the account number 1012280441. BVN 2236767055 belongs to Mr Okam Eze Ezenna who receives transaction alerts from Account No. 1012280441 with two (2) cellular numbers 08139383487 and 08130734041which belongs to Mrs Okoro Comfort. Account Number 1012280441 with Zenith Bank Plc. has Thirty two million naira (N32m) with no identifiable owner coming to claim it. The question in the mouth of every concerned person is, what is holding back the hand of justice to declare total forfeiture of all these stolen funds to the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is expected that Muhammad T. Ismail and Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) should have a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). At the beginning of the assignment, Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) allotted a space to Muhammad T. Ismail and his team in his office to do the leg work and provide the needed information for Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) to do the needful. Surprisingly, Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) has not shown any interest in signing the MoU with his client, Muhammad T. Ismail. On the 7th of September, 2021 Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) wrote to the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice to provide Bank Account details to receive recovered funds to the tune of one hundred and seventy nine billion naira (N179B) and $299,613.72 USD from three (3) out of the twenty nine (29) accounts.. On the 8th of September, 2021 Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) also wrote to the Central Bank of Nigeria, complaining against the uncooperative attitude and disobedience of court orders by First Bank Plc. and Zenith Bank Plc. Proof of service of the court orders was attached to the letters to the CBN. It was after the request for bank details was sent to the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice and a complaint against First Bank Plc. and Zenith Bank Plc. was sent to CBN that trouble started. Some persons who are in position to drive the process for the recovery of the illicit funds became threatened and they had to act fast to stop the process. In their response on the 27th of September 2021, CBN stated that they cannot act because they were not served any court order and that necessary steps should be taken to effect service on the CBN to enable them respond to the request. The Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, although received the letter of request for account details to receive recovered funds, never responded and the request not met. In March 2022, Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) invited Mohammad T. Ismail and told him that the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice had terminated the recovery exercise but he could not show any document or correspondence from the Attorney-G eneral of the Federation and Minister for Justice to that effect. To make matters worse, Mohammad T. Ismail and his team were stopped from accessing the office and prevented from retrieving details of information in the office. On one hand, Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) claimed that the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice had seized from pursuing the recovery of the trillions of naira for the Federal Government of Nigeria. However, he sent another SAN to represent him in court on the 7thof March 2022 in respect of the same matter that he told Muhammad T. Ismail that the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice had seized to pursue. Hon. Justice P. O. Lifu of FHC, Ikoyi Lagos presided on the 7th of March 2022 and adjourned to the 31st of March 2022 for ruling. Since then, it has been adjournment upon adjournment with the next adjournment scheduled for 6th of March 2023. Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) is now foot-dragging in pursuing the case as it should be. Mohammad T. Ismail is also not enjoying the cooperation of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice as it was in the beginning. The Judge only announces long adjournment to frustrate the case. The Banks too are acting above the law. CBN is not worried that trillions of naira which can service our national debt was being stolen. 26. Several correspondence had been sent to Ndarani (SAN) & Co (Solace Law Chambers) to release copies of all the correspondence relating to the recovery exercise but he hasn’t obliged. He has also refused to sign the MoU with his client, Muhammad T. Ismail who owns the recovery exercise and hired him to work for him. He is no longer showing seriousness in the recovery pursuit. 27. It can only be concluded that some persons are congregating to share over N70 trillion belonging to the Federal Government of Nigeria. We have a responsibility and a sacred duty to let the world know the truth and those who are sabotaging this nation and causing everyone to crawl while they ride on horseback. |

We have a responsibility and a sacred duty to let the world know the truth and those who are sabotaging this nation and causing everyone to crawl while they ride on horseback. |

optm: Guy, I like your talk. Chief, as the babe talk that sense; Simple. Even if e cause you heart ache. Block her. Don't chat or engage with her again. Period (maybe you people meet on the road and she asks, simply tell her she said you two can walk together and you have nothing against that. So you moved on). Chief, please do not go through the friend route for any lady. Straight-forward ask them out (no say you go package yourself well before attempting this and I hope you know how to ask them out). I can't really say but you have to realize, spending does not help issues, and expand your moving scope, you can find ladies in the church, at events - birthdays, parties, clubs, join societies, association etc... And hope you are not having issues of konji, because getting a gf doesnt really cure it totally. Enuf said, i wish you luck 1 Like |

Mrmb: I seriously agree with you. Boko Haram insurgency has reduced to the level that I cannot remember when last I heard of the word BH. But that has being replaced with ISWAP, Bandits, Kidnappings in almost every state of the North, Herdsmen attacks and the rest. One wonders whether we replaced it something better or a different kind of worse. Kaduna/Niger state had villages under one form of attack, kidnapping or what have you, I can't remember Niger having any security apart from the Madalla bombing till the present government came in. Should we discuss the present day security issues in Kogi, Taraba, Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi, Jigawa, Zamfara... etc which were not there before 2015? |

Aufbauh: I hope this is sarcasm because NO POLITICIAN HAS THE LICENSE TO LIE ON OUR HEAD. History would judge the present president whether he actually effectively/efficiently curtailed the BH menace or he just DEGRADED it (to whatever status they mean, which one is degrade self). But we all know that before President Goodluck left, the mercenaries/foreigners had almost finished the job, only for the new president to come in and revoke the employment of the mercenaries. |

FuckSilly: Yeah, the same bible has a place where an Apostle had a dream where all sorts of forbidden meat appear before him and he is told to eat and he refuses, calling them - is it cursed or forbidden? And God warns him. As a Christian, except meat offered to idols, you are at liberty to eat almost any meat. (Nope, not humans and of course, if you want to try monkey or gorilla meat that looks like humans be my guest, but don't vomit). And the bible also says - ONLY A FOOL SAYS THERE IS NO GOD. 1 Like |

brain54: My brother, demand for PIG MEAT is not low. It's either you are from another part of Nigeria, or you no dey look pig meat twice. For instance, in Benue, roasted pig meat can be seen at almost every drinking joint area. In Nasarawa, some sections are like that too. Its even easier to farm than chickens and almost like Rabbits, once a pig delivers, you get plenty piglets. Its not like goat or chickens. They can be destructive, I give you that and finding accommodation for them is like practically building a new cute little house with a compound, but you can still allow them to roam. Its their destructive nature that makes them hard to maintain, oh and their love for mud and dirty stuff. |
Family / Re: Late Husband's Family Withholding Her Aunt's Child by Gabangel(m): 10:56pm On Nov 27, 2022 |
Abeg, she should just kidnap her children. I fear that if she tries legally, she might end up with dead kids on her hand. its an odd world in Nigeria, where you see a sister cannot even carry her younger brother from her relatives, for whatever reason - like they looked after the child so the lady has to pay them back. So many funny things. Or a woman can't carry her kids from her in laws because the husband who is far away did not give permission. The part I have not understood in most of these stories is how the relatives would turn the child to a street hawker?! Child of their own relative? 1 Like |

I don't know how people see it but for me, if he had not broken her phone, he would still be alive. Its obvious, its not like she kept the knife and allowed him to attack her. Its more like she went after he broke the phone and i guess he says something like "do you worse, Hoe", and she goes picks a knife and as the man lay on the bed, stabbed him in the chest. And that doesn't sound like defence. I cannot see how she would be able to reach his chest to chuk abi stab, if there was a struggle. Also, for her reaching for a knife means, she knew she could not stand "man to man" to face him (and why would she want to face him again instead of leaving the house if not that she felt aggrieved about her phone?). That's murder. Not self-defence. Pure COLD BLOODED MURDER. We can call this VENGEANCE FOR THE PHONE. 5 Likes |

I think you should read this and realize that you are not even half-way to thinking how badly or better our system can be. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/09/10-reasons-why-finlands-education-system-is-the-best-in-the-world before then someone or somewhere i had heard of how in the Finnish university system, you dont really study courses. You are an engineer, they give you a problem to solve. You use your four years learning/reading/understanding/practicing things that would give you total understanding/solution to that problem. It reminds me where people say, more than half of the things we learn in the university, we dont use them... (in their school system - you wish, also as a computer scientist, you wish more)... Or maybe this is hearsay, but their system far outclasses UK/US ed systems. They are the brothers to Norway who turned their below sea-level living area to a place where they can use the flood for swimming pool when it comes (joking but they solved flooding in an extra-ordinary way). Cheers. |

If you are to do passports avoid the big states or cities like Abuja, Lagos, Kano and I think even Kaduna and PH. Go to the Ebonyi, Adamawa, Benue (is like even Oyo you would avoid). There are some states that passport is within 2 to 3 weeks and you are not overspending, you would spend even far less money. Check the website too. 4 Likes |

Sorry, its that lonely. If you can, look for remote jobs (upwork, freelancer thing). They would bring more cash, most especially as your location is suited to many jobs. Dont worry about skills, you have light and I believe a lot of data, apply alone for courses, coursera, udemy and the rest... or let me give you the simplest, there is a Google AD Video Training online on Google Upskill, watch it and learn then go back to upwork and find free food. Thank me later... wait, make I drop my account (AZA)? 3 Likes 1 Share |
Romance / Re: My Wife Is Learning Bad Things by Gabangel(m): 11:14pm On Nov 14, 2022 |
Bro, its unfair your posting your wife's picture on line (I won't lie...she fine o, and if to say no be person wife ehn...cough cough). On this forum we discuss a lot of things and try our best not to reveal names or faces. Your wife, might change later but our view of her would not change. I feel you did this out of vindictiveness. Also. It's actually scary when your wife or girl acquires new sexual skills (which feels like she learnt it from her friend), but would you prefer she practice it on someone other than you or you feel what she is doing is disgusting? You see when they say a man's head is stubborn. Bro, a woman's heart is more stubborn than our head. It might take some time that is if your wife really want's to leave that girl. Else, you can only tell your wife that let her friend visit only when you are around. Then wait. Maybe by the second or third visit, start to show interest in her friend, tell her interesting things in front of your wife. When her friend leaves, tell your wife it seems you might have found someone you like. If she quarrels, then tell her you think you prefer her friend to her. No matter what happens, don't discuss the issue every again. Don't even ask of the friend ever again. I think the rest would happen by itself. (wanted to add, do some late nights for like three days but that's going to far). P.S. whatever you do. Don't beat your wife if she says any nasty thing. And from the way you discuss about her, despite her shenanigans, she looks like she respects you alot. (the way she dresses and appears). 2 Likes |

My brother, yours is better. I had issues with school so I dropped out of the university and had to return back to another school 10 years later. And worse off, almost everyone in my class were below 23. But the time I had reached 300 Level, even the oldest guy in my class was trying to copy my hairstyle and how I dress. I ended up finish a degree after 18 years after my 18th birthday. But its the best decision I have taken in a long time, even as I have no permanent job and as I am doing side hustle. You know why? They were times I was looking for jobs and people were asking - what is your highest qualification? It hurt to tell them what it was at my age then. When I want to think of how playful I have been, I think of my younger brother, who is even far playful (you can never be quiet in his midst, always stroking and yabbing people, hardly serious for a minute) than me but has 2 masters, is married, travels round the country and realize...am not as immature as I think. Remember this. Its not about how holy or good or serious you are when it comes to school; its about making time for your books at least once a day if not twice and you can go back to whatever kind of life you have. There. Sorry for my overgeneral post on school. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Travel / Opinion: Nigerians Banned From Flying Into Other Countries/returning The Favour by Gabangel(m): 10:20am On Dec 13, 2021 |
With the spread of the new corona variant - Omicron, countries around the world have been put on alert. Part of what they are doing to fight the virus is to put bans on flights into their country. These bans have been placed on many countries and one of the most affected happens to be Nigeria. According to travelban.org, Nigeria has over 53 bans from out of 243 countries. The issue has never been about the ban in particular but the way the ban has been placed. That is, Airlines originating from some of these countries can come over to Nigeria but Airlines from Nigeria are banned from entering their country. It also means that only their airlines have the monopoly of "not having the virus" or something like that. But this is clearly stamping out the competition and only allowing their country's airline to benefit. As the BBC in a report put its: "there is now a travel apartheid". Strangely, South Africa is among countries banned from entering the UK. So as Nigeria plans to ban flights from Argentina, Britain, Canada and Saudi Arabia from this week, in retaliation for "being added to those countries' red lists over the detection of the Omicron coronavirus variant"; what do we say about these countries? Before then, how has the level of vaccination from the virus being and are people really adhering to taking it before traveling from Nigeria? News Agencies like Reuters in their COVID-19 tracker report, say that Nigeria's vaccination as of 9th December was barely 2.8% of the population for every 2 injections taken. Travelban.org puts its at less than 5% of the entire population. This is compared to Egypt which has about 21% vaccinated and South Africa which has over 23% vaccinated. Although, this is better than Cameroon which has only about 1.8% and Niger which almost have no data on the population vaccinated. With such low vaccination penetration one can wonder if there should be any Nigeria travelling out of the country at all? ...
